“I’ll kill you, you stupid traitor hag!” The Sister’s voice, though almost frighteningly high-pitched, nevertheless produced a sharp echo, bouncing off the walls in a manner that could have mirrored a Force scream. “And if I can’t, then she will!”

Letting loose an almighty howl, the Sister directed her galvanic fury towards a pair of guards who were charging her, electrocuting the two warriors in their armor before lifting them up via telekinesis and throwing their bodies into the wall with a sickening crunch. All the while, Sris mirrored the diminutive electromancer, charging up, then projecting Lightning from her fingertips, bouncing the blast off the ground with the intention of letting it ricochet to catch Xiphos in the chest as the Black Knight moved to close the distance.

The remaining thirteen guards quickly closed in on Maple and the Amalgam. However, in witnessing the latter’s affinity with Lightning via the holocams, they seemed more apt on focusing her down. Three of the guards drew and fired sonic pistols, sending a barrage of six shots towards the shapeshifter while five more charged the Amalgam, infusing their legs with Speed in order to more quickly close the distance. The remaining five all focused on Maple, activating their personal energy shields in order to protect themselves from the woman’s sonic disruptors and other ranged weaponry, intending to overwhelm her with fast, unrelenting attacks delivered from shotos and single-bladed lightsabers.

After killing the two guards designated for her, the Sister turned her attention towards Sris, eyes glowing a luminous cyan beneath her helmet as galvanic energy coruscated around her hands. Speaking in frantic ur-Kittât, the electromancer pulled into the depths of her emotions, drawing on hate, anger, and most strangely, love. It was the obsessive, if not neurotic or deranged love of a fangirl who sought to impress her beloved idol at any cost. The emotion was twisted to serve as a font of Dark side power. However, the electromancer didn’t release her power yet, instead letting it simmer and charge in the manner of a superlaser preparing to fire on a hapless planet or capital ship.

Her intent, a critical hit or if she got particularly lucky, a One-Hit Kill on the boss.

“Cover me!” She cried out, before going back to her chanting...

Kesran gave another smirk, this time more wide than previous. He could sense that she obviously didn't trust him, especially after his little stunt with the wind. He found it amusing that the young Sith was annoyed. He now leaned against a tree with his arms crossed, keeping his somewhat mischievous smirk. He liked when he got under people's skin, it was always fun. He soon realized the situation and turned his attitude and appearance to be more serious. Kesran then answered the Acolyte's question. He decided to not bring up her annoyance with him or anything else. It was time to get cracking with the mission at hand and for Kesran to be less of a nuisance and more of an asset towards eliminating these traitors.

"Will you be taking point?" she asked him. "I'll have my men back you up."

"A sound idea, I will lead".

Kesran began to spirit towards the front of the troop column, steeling himself for some impending action. Before he got too far from the Acolyte, he turned around and shouted to her,

"I'm Kesran by the way", as he gave her a smile and a wink. He then immediately turned around and zoomed back to take lead as the point of the group.

Kesran was only trying to make an impression with his recent actions, and in his mind, he was sure that in some way, whatever way it was, he had.

But now, it was time.

Time to kill some traitors.

And soon after as he reached the front and began leading the way, he could finally see in the distance the first traitorous soldier. He slowed his pace, lowered his figure, and readied himself. This would allow the troopers behind him to catch up and locate the target.

For Kesran it was soon coming,

Showtime.

The Amalgam snarled as sonic shots were trained on her. She evaded to the best of her ability, but some of the shots had been Highly focused and slammed into her.

The suit she wore, destroyed and repaired countless times took a good chunk of the damage due to its resistance against sonic attacks.

But that chit was a bunch of Sonic Disruptor bolts.

Her suit degraded where the bolts hit, turning some of her flesh to ash, and she staggered from the intense pain. Stupid. She had been so elated at spending time with their daughters she had slacked off a bit...

Her flesh shuddered as she screamed in pain, among the most intense she had experienced in a long time, and turned it to absolute hatred, her muscles bulging and swelling, eyes turning black as she sank into a Force Rage that cut off the pain.

She rushed forward, savagely attacking the ones closest to her in a frenzy, her already super human speed (defied only due to the sheer volley of shots that had come her way, partly hitting her face and turning some of it to ash as she cut down her first attackers even as one sliced into her side, spilling white blood and muscle.

Maple's drunken style in the meantime baffled the more traditionally trained defenders, attacking her. She would do strange things to evade their attacks, pretending to take a drink, staggering out of the way drunkenly, even fall over, rub her belly, and pretend to burp.

But when one Lightsaber grazed her arm, she snarled, getting serious.

Even as Rage, the sweet poison of The Dark Side coursed through her body, The Amalgam's heart felt only joy at watching Maple force crush one of her attackers, and hurled him brutally with Telekinesis at the others, flipping over sonic Disruptor shots to behead staff wielding guardians

Xiphos kept attackers off her Fan's back, admittedly finding herself being admired a guilty pleasure. Her blade cut down multiple sorts per teleport, refusing to let anything touch her fan.

The admiration of First Sister First Sister at the same time, troublingly reminded her of her own self, starting out under "Ursula's" tutelage.

Xiphos didn't want to disappoint First Sister the way The Amalgam had.

As the apprentice of Carnifex shouted for cover Xiphos obliged, sending out a number of Cryonic fireballs that set nearby enemies ablaze, though some dodged, and continued shooting, forcing her to dodge and barely evade her shooters as she closed the gap, cutting them down.

For Sris, Xiphos threw out an icy, determined mind bent on completely disrupting the Powerful Siths connection to the Force, trying to brutally hammer away her mental defenses so FS could strike a fatal blow and break the traitors will at last...

Never before, had the Sister expected to find herself face to face with a
Dark Lady.

Her body quivered with tension as the power she was building up took its toll on her strength. She had done similar things in training before, in charging up her power for a sudden strike, but only rarely to this extent. Doing so always left her exhausted to the point of being almost entirely incapable of defending herself, which was part of why she did it so rarely. However, now with the Supernal Infusion, the Sister at least had some insurance if it failed.

All the while, Maple’s drunken fist-style movements and martial arts baffled the Praetorians and kept them on their toes, in part disrupting their initial strategy of overwhelming the woman with fast and precise strikes, especially as Maple was a much faster combatant than they had expected. Where they had expected to find the sluggish, yet unpredictable movements of a drunk, they found a still-unpredictable, but violent fast drunken speedster able to maneuver with a preternatural fluidity and flexibility. As such, two of the Praetorians hesitated in delivering their attacks, thereby opening themselves up for a lethal counter.

The Praetorians were initially relieved to see deadly effects their sonic disruptor pistols had on the Amalgam, only for much of the Dark Witch’s flesh to shift right before their eyes in a terrifying, grotesque display of savagery and untameable power in the Force. Nevertheless, the Praetorians were well-trained and did not relent their attack in spite of the woman’s counterattack. However, a few failed to react in time, caught still holding their pistols, thereby leaving them exposed to the violent arcs of the Amalgam’s fiery blades. Three fell in short order, but the rest were undaunted, with one of the remaining attempting to hold the Dark Witch in place via telekinesis, while the other two moved in to take off her head, hoping that a decapitating strike would put her down for good.

With most of the Praetorian either occupied or dead, Sris did not hesitate in calling reinforcements, in the form of ten gargantuan Titan war droids, stolen from the Empire and reprogrammed to serve Sris. Immediately, they opened up on Xiphos with their plasma-burst cannons, though four quickly fell to the Black Knight’s cryonic fireballs, leaving six more still standing.

All the while, Sris howled with laughter as she fired her Lightning towards the Sister, breaking the tiny electromancer’s focus as scream tore from the Qilin’s lips.

“You are so small and so adorable!~” The Dark Lady said to the Sister. “I just want to pinch your cheeks! I bet they are so soft!” She added with a coy wink. “A shame though...I have to deal with you though, but…” She paused, with a sigh.
“I’ll clone your body after I finish killing you and make her my bed slave!”

"Or...you can surrender and be my apprentice instead! Unfortunately, I can't promise that I won't still clone you and your companions!"
She finished with an eerie giggle, before suddenly finding her focus interrupted when Xiphos made a sudden and unexpected advance on her mental defenses. An enraged growl met the attempt, though Sris nevertheless mounted her resistance, bringing to bear a strong will and the techniques of Body she worked to counter the attack. Nevertheless, Sris found her connection to the Force slightly inhibited, forcing her to cease her galvanic assault on the diminutive electromancer, in order to focus on defending her mind.

Though, perhaps it was too late, as the Sister continued to build up yet more power, her eyes glowing a luminous cyan as she prepared to release it...

Sris was strong, she was resistant to the breaching attempt. Xiphos swore under her breath as more of the Titan droids came.

Forced to break off her Assault on the Sith's mind, in the hopes First Sister First Sister would have the power to finish off Sris herself, Xiphos turned her will to the droids, reaching into the Force and corrupting their programs turning a few to her side while the others burned in cryo flames.

The Amalgam snarled, her attacks interrupted as they tried to halt her with Telekinesis. It worked for a few seconds, but just as a blade raced for her neck, the intense, rotting dark miasma in her body forced away their attempts to hold her, sending out a rope of intense red lightning that killed two, managing to party the blade at the absolute last moment, though her side was grazed.

Drawing on pure hatred, The Amalgam ripped the Life Force from the next three, then rushed and went back to brutally attacking the guards. Maple meanwhile had managed to behead another four through drunken feints and misdirection, though the Praetorians were getting far more aggressive.

Out came the Force Crush. Maple used her love/hatred of The Amalgam to turn one man's head to pulp, then a large tentacle of water to smash up the rest of her attackers in a brutal fashion. She turned to help The Amalgam but one of the Praetorians who wasn't quite dead lifted a sonic Disruptor at her back.

The droids Xiphos had reprogrammed turned one of their weapons on him, turning him into the sparkles that colonized Robert Pattinson's chest with a burst of fire. Nah, just kidding. He was turned into blood confetti.

Xiphos, after making sure the droids damaged by flames were soon finished off...then they turned their weapons on Sris, and fired.

"I love this job. I love it!" Xiphos said out loud, ready to protect her fan if Sris tried anything funny...

The Sister buckled under Sris’ galvanic assault, but her focus remained unwavered, owing to her uniform’s extreme resistance to electricity, allowing the electromancer to more easily absorb what was left of the charge that got through. Nevertheless, smoke emanated from the reinforced red fabrics, but with it came fire.

“Eat electricity, hag!”

Lightning in its most pure, raw form was cast forth towards Sris from both of the electromancer’s hands. The scent of burning ozone was strong in the air as the Sister made manifest her built up power, firing it towards the Dark Lady with unrepentant savagery as she sought to electrocute the traitorous witch. Her body quivered with the strain, blood dripping from her nostrils as her heart began to pound in her chest, the pain of which only furthered amplified her power.

In turn, Sris’ skeleton blinked in and out of visibility, though the Dark Lady nevertheless managed to resist the Sister’s galvanic assault, if only for a short time. Her Barrier, while robust, could only hold for a few moments in the face of the electromancer’s charged attack. Once it was broken, the Dark Lady was truly exposed. Before long, the electricity set her body alight, a shrill, mortal scream arising from her throat as fire began to consume her form. Even then, the Qilin did not relent, channeling what was left of her energy until her reservoir ran dry, by which point, Sris was on the ground, her charred, smoking corpse still twitching as electricity coursed through her fried nerves.

Then, the Sister collapsed.

Not a moment after the Dark Lady died and the last of her Praetorians were killed by Maple Harte and the Amalgam, the room seemed to shift as if it were on water. Then, in a dazzling show of flashing purple lights, the wall behind the throne opened, revealing a room with purple lighting, with four glowing loot chests at the back.

Even as she was on the ground, exhausted and burned out from channeling so much energy, the Sister could not help but to be enthralled by the display of such sick loot. A part of her wondered if it was an elaborate trap, but her Sense was unperturbed by the display. However, to confirm her Forceful intuition, she looked at her idol, then the Amalgam and Maple Harte, before following them inside, towards the chest.

A silent agreement seemed to pass between the four women, that they would claim one chest each, then presumably, they would share the epic-quality lightsabers dropped by the Praetorians. The Sister claimed the chest to the far left, which opened as she approached in a flashy, dopamine-inducing display which oddly reminded her of a loot box opening animation in a trashy, pay-to-win hologame, complete with sound effects and cinematic smoke.

Inside, she found two holocrons.

The Sister stared in awe for a few moments, before taking off her helmet and setting it down next to her. Then, with a deep breath, she touched the closest holocron…

(Level Up! The First Sister gained one rank in Force Flight! [Force Flight: Apprentice])

The first holocron disappeared in her grasp, as she absorbed the knowledge contained within. The rush of awareness and insight entering her mind was addicting, in a way reminding her of the flash instruction she had undergone during her first days of life, after emerging from her exowomb. However, this was more fulfilling and natural. As such, it didn’t take long for her to realize that she had gained new insight in Flight, a power which she had only been able to manifest under duress, before now.

From there, she didn’t hesitate to touch the second holocron, which glowed even brighter than the first.

(Level Up! The First Sister gained two ranks in Force Speed! [Force Speed: Apprentice])

The absorption of the second holocron was a more overwhelming sensation, eliciting a cry of ecstasy from the Sister as the knowledge ingrained itself in her soul, her limbs quivering with excitement, in spite of her exhaustion. She gave a high-pitched, elated squeal, celebrating the new powers now embedded into her mind, along with her victory over Darth Sris.

“This is the sickest of sick loot!”

Xiphos watched as Sris died and Maple and The Amalgam killed the last of the Defenders. Xiphos was absolutely bewildered at the trashy light display, amazed Sris had thought to set it up.

The Amalgam, having violently drained someone back to full health, let the rage die out in her body, muscles reducing to their regular state, resetting on her skeleton. She looked around at the grotesque light show.

"At least we didn't have to level grind just to unlock 'one' Loot box..." The Amalgam noted dryly.

"These companies gave us way too much ammo, pushing that stuff..." Maple said in agreement.

"Indeed..." The Amalgam said, walking up to the corpse of Sris. Her Lightsaber was intact, pulsing with Dark Power and fragments of Sris's personality and skill imprinted on it.

The Amalgam grasped it, flesh shuddering horrifically on her face as she absorbed that grace of Sris, face warping to that of the recently murdered Sris before shifting back to her own face. She tossed the blade to Maple playfully, who dropped it in disgust while Xiphos went to make sure First Sister First Sister was OK.

"You took a beating, but you pulled through. I respect that..." Xiphos said, impressed. "You'll make a powerful Sorceress someday.

Xiphos turned to The Amalgam.

"Amy. Use Force Lightning on me."

The Amalgam raised an eyebrow.

"Wanna pay the electric company early, eh?"

"Humor me."

The Amalgam cast a very weak bolt of lightning, clearly unused to showing such restraint.

Xiphos twisted the Light in her, summoning a green sphere of light that, since it wasn't normal Force Light, wasn't capable of harming either First Sister or The Amalgam. Not by its mere presence in their vicinity.

However...

As the lighting raced to her, the sphere swelled, drawing the lightning energy into itself...then it raced to The Amalgam, who barely dodged it as it exploded violently at a wall behind her.

The Amalgam scowled. "You could have told me to be ready to dodge!" She huffed.

"But where would the fun be in that?" Xiphos joked.

The Amalgam blinked, then burst into laughter.

"Okay, I can admit it, I kinda walked right into that one..." She chuckled. "Nice prank!"

Maple scowled at the exchange that seemed way too affable for her liking, but said nothing.

Xiphos turned to First Sister.

"That Power is called Flare. It won't win a battle by itself, but it can open opponents up to attack...if you're interested in learning it..."

Xiphos tensed. She felt another life Force other than theirs. It was faint...but there...

Picking up one of the Jasmine Sabers, Xiphos clipped it to her belt, heading behind the throne area.

She discovered a small lab. There was a growth tube holding something or someone inside.

Xiphos approached it, using her technopathy to run system start up and safety checks, trying to make sure whoever was inside wouldn't be killed by revival.

When she sensed the computers had made every safety check possible, she willed them to begin the revival procedure...

The growth tube parted open on one side...

"Tara Willows"

Kesran had introduced himself, so it was only fair for her to do the same. She gave him her name but spoke as if he should have already known that. Not that she had any sort of popularity among the Sith. She wasn't a Darth after all. But she liked to act like one. She portrayed herself as a queen. Always. The group would move forward with Kesran taking the lead and Tara bringing up the rear. Her senses were attuned to danger, but there was a lot of interference with the forest around her. She couldn't quite focus on the here and now. Her mind was elusive, elsewhere.

The troops stopped as they came upon the first traitor. Tara didn't need to give instruction. Her men knew what to do. Kesran was going to show off, but they didn't know that yet. The commander of the group raised his blaster and gave the hand signal to open fire. The man never knew what hit him. That's when his friends came around the bend of the trail. They saw the platoon and began to fire. The troopers spread out, taking positions for battle. Tara stayed where she was. There weren't any Sith here; there was no reason for her to get involved.

“This is like if a bunch of max levels carried a low level through a mid level-dungeon and gave her all the loot that they don’t need.” The Sister said with an uncharacteristic giggle on her lips, after the Black Knight showed her Flare, her eyes wide as she watched the displaying of twisted Light.

“I'm interested!” The electromancer added cheerfully. “But, are you all sure you don’t want the loot in these other three chests? If not then…” The electromancer licked her lips, a wicked smile coming over her pale features as she did. However, just as she moved to head towards the other three chests, the Sister sensed the change in her idol’s manner and expression, her pulchritudinous features held tense for a few moments.

Her eyes followed the Black Knight as the woman moved towards the growth tube in a hidden area of the room, nestled within a small lab. With a short breath, she moved to follow her idol, but she also could not help but to look at the pale creature inside, conspicuously a woman, steeped in the intoxicating aura of the Dark side.

And she was alive, very much so.

The fate of the creature inside the tube saw a fundamental shift as Sris was slain by the electromancer. Where before, she was destined to be the metaphorical Mother of an army of beings like her, Zanshi super soldiers, the future now held something different, though in more than a few ways, the same.

For one, she would have always been a warrior, no matter the outcome of the showdown which had transpired less than a hundred meters away. She would have also fought in much the same manner, as her affinity for Speed was an ingrained part of her being, almost inseparable from her as a person.

However, in this universe, she would be called upon to fight for a more worthy cause, though perhaps no less violent and savage in practice.

First, there was blackness, as there always was. Then, there was the sensation of fluid rushing around her pale form. Her eyes remained closed through the initial stage of draining, but they finally opened as the shock of cool air struck her wet skin, slowly revealing two huge, piercing orbs of pink. As the blurriness cleared from her vision, the first thing they focused on were the beautiful, yet scarred features of Xiphos, staring back at her as the last of the fluid drained around her feet and the tube slowly opened to the outside world.

For a few moments, the creature stared at Xiphos, in a way...imprinting herself on the strange woman standing before her.

Then, upon taking her first step out of the tube, she fell to the ground as a sudden squeal departed from her soft lips.

Xiphos was instantly covering the girl with a nearby towel.

"Easy. The disorientation will pass with enough time." Xiphos told the girl. "For now just take your time, and catch your breath.

Xiphos wasn't sure why, but she found herself needing to protect a complete stranger, and not for personal gain. Something about her sheer vulnerability had triggered something in Xiphos and she didn't want to leave the girl's side.

There had been no one to look after her after Age 4. She had to fend for herself. Vat growns don't have friends.

Seeing her like that triggered too many painful memories.

Xiphos tensed, feeling the Amalgam walk into the area.

"Are you going to open up these loot boxes or wh....hellooooo..." The Amalgam trailed as she spotted the girl, only for Xiphos to instinctively stand between them.

"Her boss had a lotta sweet chit, is all I'm saying..." The Amalgam said, switching the subject.

"Whose that?" Maple Harte Maple Harte asked grimly as she walked in.

"My responsibility. Don't worry about it..." Xiphos answered.

Harte shrugged, then went to check on the loot boxes.

Xiphos turned to First Sister First Sister

"It's been an interesting day with you, FS." Xiphos said. "You ever want to party again, you come find me. There are interesting things I could show you about a Lightsaber."

Xiphos knealt down to the vat grown Zanshi.

"Can you walk, little one? I can carry you if your legs would give out."

(Cutaway of J Jonah Jameson laughing uncontrollably)

In the Meanwhile, Maple and The Amalgam perused the contents of the Loot Boxes.

The Amalgam smiled, pulling out two Westar-34's

"I normally don't dual wield, as there's never a good teahouse for a gunfight...but the hell with it." She chuckled.

Maple on the other hand, pulled out a faded parchment containing magically enscribed knowledge...it disintegrated as she absorbed it...

The Amalgam slinked over to a grimacing Maple.

"Yet again you grow more powerful...you really must allow me to make you truly beautiful with The Darkness..." The Amalgam remarked in a shockingly saddened, almost human tone that caught Maple off guard, making her quickly walk away from the Amalgam and back to Xiphos.

"Let's strip mine this place for resources and skip town..." Maple suggested...
