"C'mon, there should be another lift right over there." he jerked his head beyond the cargo turbolift the terrorists had taken, pacing in that direction. The three would slide into a halt at the closed doors of the lift -- out of order, most likely disabled by the terrorists. "Rancor - doors!" if he could carry and throw a speeder van, surely a pair of steel, turbolift doors were no issue for the behemoth to pry open. The grappling hooks they all carried would do the work for them after.

"Open says me."

Kav stepped to one side, as he holstered his C-10 and pulled out the grappling hook from his belt, within his jacket.

Once the team started to pile inside, Kav would follow right behind...

Sylus stepped past Kav and threw his hook, aiming squarely for the walls of the shaft. The hook gripped squarely and he tugged to make sure it was secured, while his other hand secured it to his belt.

"Start climbing."

Heart racing, knowing they had to keep up the pace. The numbers and instructions flashed through his head.

"How far up are the targets?"

The stormtrooper took a moment to compose herself after shooting the man, standing still among the chaos of civilians dying or running for their lives. She always tried to fulfil her duty without considering the consequences. It was much easier to allow someone else to take responsibility for her actions. It meant she could typically avoid the reality of a given situation and it was the reason she was not suited to be an officer but it was difficult to ignore such a haunting sight.

A blaster bolt sailing past her head soon focussed her and she returned fire without hesitation. On Margo's command, she advanced towards the terrorists with the same confident stride as when she wore armour, dodging civilians who littered the path ahead as she ran in pursuit of the Chiss.

She gave a harsh jab of the elbow into the side of a civilian who got in the way, stumbling over and onto to the ground upon the impact where he would soon succumb to his fate. It was cruel but they didn't have the luxury to be anything but cruel now. If they didn't succeed, the outcome could be far worse than a handful of civilian casualties. As was often the case, it was a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils.

Partially obscured by the gas and with no HUD to assist, she didn't see the terrorist ambush her from the side. Before she could get a shot in he was already wrestling with her for control of the weapon, ensuring that it was pointing upwards and away from him. She thrust her knee between his legs and used the distraction to grab him by the arm while both still held onto the weapon, twisting it and using the position to throw him over her shoulder and onto the ground. She quickly regained control of the blaster and promptly shot him before advancing.

Without their armour they had lost the gravitas of Stormtroopers.
