PERSONALITY (WIP)
Skadi is a fierce, bold, and somewhat prideful young woman. She carries herself with a slight air of importance, being of high birth in her family clan/House - the firstborn to their House's Jarl. This does not mean she is girly or squeamish; she was taught from a very young age not only to take care of one's house and family, but also to be a strong and capable warrior and provider. She can hunt, cook, butcher, forage, weave, knit, make clothing out of various materials, and she has some knowledge in black smithing.
Beyond this, Skadi has a rebellious streak in her; she is curious and she will do things in spite of her Father or Mother's commands, in order to satisfy that curiosity. That has led her on many adventures out of her home planet of Toola, and continues to provide the spark that drives her to travel the galaxy when she can to further expose herself to things outside of her culture.
BELIEFS (WIP)
Due to her culture and racial background, Skadi follows the religion of her family and ancestors, and pays homage to a plethora of gods and goddesses - her patron goddess being Éar, goddess of the Hunt, Fertility, and Beauty in the Valkyri religion. Much of her beliefs are centered around her heritage, which is an inherently warrior culture. Her particular House (House Lightbane) partially broke off from some traditions of the Valkyri and adopted Sith-aligned traditions, beliefs, and doctrines. This is seen in how strongly they adhere to the Sith Code, which includes Skadi. She and the rest of her family look down with disdain upon most other Sith, viewing them with suspicion, even going so far as to believe them heretics or those who have stepped away from the Code to embrace other strange doctrines and beliefs. Skadi does not believe that the Force or the dark side is a god or even mildly divine, but an energy force to be tapped into and used as a tool to achieve one's goals.

BIOGRAPHY (WIP)
Skadi is the eldest of three siblings, born to Jarl Einar and his wife, Lady Astra of Clan Lightbane. As Valkyri, they have their ancestral roots in Midvinter, but the Clan (House Arrowfell) was exiled some time prior due to clashing beliefs when the House chieftain at the time turned to the dark side of the Force and embraced Sith doctrine and teachings, leading many of his family and his clan to do the same. This led to clashings and strife amongst the other, more light bound Clans and Houses and eventually, House Arrowfell was cast out and forbidden to ever return to Midvinter.
The newly exiled House renamed themselves ‘Lightbane’ - and took to the stars to find themselves a new place to settle, where they could live their lives in accordance with their new ways that adhered to the Sith Code, and adopted some beliefs and customs of other Sith doctrines over the millenia. They settled upon a planet that was similar in climate to Midvinter - Toola - and soon adapted to the flora and fauna of the place.
Culturally, House Lightbane still holds fast to their roots and customs. They still follow customs and beliefs in their gods and still adhere to traditions that are essential for their identity as Valkyri.
Skadi, and eventually her siblings, were raised as such, and she and her family embrace their heritage with pride. Being the firstborn of her father and mother, Skadi was taught from a young age about the history of their House, and how to both be a lady of the house and a warrior, a shield-maiden. When she was an adolescent, it was discovered that she had a fairly strong connection to the Force - and thus she came under her Father’s teachings, who taught her how to harness the powers of the Force through the dark side.
Unlike many Sith or Sith-aligned individuals, Skadi and her family do not adhere to any one faction within the Empire, nor do they align with any of the major Sith leaders or Dark Lords. Instead, they adhere as strictly as possible to the Sith Code - interweaving it into their customs and culture, and using it to frame their day to day activities and life.
Skadi is a fierce young woman who bears herself with pride and strength. She holds an air of disdain for those who are associated with other factions within the Sith Empire, or really anyone not connected to or associated to her House; though as she has gotten older and more rebellious against her Father, she has become more curious about outsiders - especially other Sith. This has led her to more frequent bouts of “escape”, where she leaves her home in order to search the galaxy and satisfy her growing curiosity.
