Being a Jawa, many would expect Sivoy Pok to be born on the desert world of Tatooine. Yet, in the years following the collapse of Sidious’ Empire, many Jawa clans found themselves migrating off of the world of binary stars. Instead, the Pok clan had settled upon the semi-volcanic planet of Nevarro. Yet, despite being removed from their Tatooinian kin, the Poks were still connected to the age-old profession of Jawas: scavenging and building from the scrap pieces of others.
Thus, this was the lifestyle that Sivoy was born into. Starting practically from when he could walk, he was taught by his family on how to tinker with machines. How to improve upon them, fix them, and to make new things from spare parts. Yet, unlike others of his clan, Sivoy had a unique connection to the Force. Strange things would happen when Sivoy would become too excited or frustrated. His family soon came to view Sivoy as a bit of an ill-omen. However, Sivoy’s family managed to find him help. On a visit to sell on Coruscant, they were able to surrender Sivoy up to the New Jedi Order.
From there, Sivoy was placed into the Order at the starting rank of a Padawan. It was, initially, a heavy task for his mentors to wrangle his excitable personality. He eventually started to have some mastership over meditation and quieting his mind. Nevertheless, Sivoy still has his moments of attention lapses.
When he was old enough, Sivoy was able to create a lightsaber of his own. Rather than build from just the vast library of materials, Sivoy leaned into his Jawa heritage and constructed a hilt using pieces of scrap parts. The Force guiding him, he built it and paired it with a kyber crystal that attuned yellow when he meditated on it.
Upon graduating from the lower levels of Padawanship, he was soon assigned a teacher. It was decided that the Jawa would be paired with returning Jedi Master
Elias Edo
as his mentor. He now follows along with Master Edo, adapting to the new situation and learning his way to eventually become a Jedi Knight.

- Tinkerer: As a Jawa, Sivoy grew up around technology and mechanical people. He has himself become a bit of a tinkerer. He enjoys finding things to fix and ways to conceive and apply solutions to mechanical problems. He also occasionally likes to make his own little gadgets and gizmos.
- Force-Connected: A rarity among his species, Sivoy has immense potential as a Force wielder. If trained well, he could easily become a phenomenal Jedi in his own right.

- Linguistic Barrier: One of the biggest obstacles, Sivoy can only speak variations of his cultural language of Jawaese: both the pheromone-rich one used between Jawas and the more vocal one used to speak with non-Jawas. He can perfectly understand and write in Basic, but often finds it frustrating when people cannot understand what he is verbally saying.

- Much to Learn: Being only a teenager, Sivoy is still just a Padawan learner. He is definitely skilled to fend for himself if in dire situations, but he is still but a neophyte to the greater ways of the Force.
