In an effort to shore up their borders, the Sith Empire has arrived on Orinackra. Ahead of them, Sotto the Hutt arranged a concert to welcome them, the concert is being held in Crüe the capital of the planet. The concert will show off the various slaves that Sotto has to offer, the slaves will perform various songs and be paraded along the concert grounds or displayed in cages. Sotto hopes to foster better relations with the Sith Empire and entertain a more permanent status within their criminal underworld. His right-hand woman, Umedara Zaar will be in attendance speaking with members of the Sith Empire. Negotiating Orinackra's annexation into the Empire, all the while - members of both the Sith Brotherhood and Valkyries have been dispatched to a defunct imperial detention center that has reported a lot of 'paranormal' activities. A company associated with the Empire wishes to build a new prison complex over the old one but fears the activities will discourage construction. Led by [member="Kaalia Pavanos"], the Sith Valkyries will enter first in an attempt to bring these activities to an end.

Still, there is much to do on Orinackra, bars, and cantinas in Crüe are waiting for credits to be spent. While outside the city and to the detention center lay mountains and forests, where the Imperials are looking build a new military complex. Members of various vassal states have also arrived to look for colonization opportunities. Yet still, there may be a relic or two of old - whatever it is you've come for the music and festivities from Crüe are sure to be seen and heard for quite a distance.

A glam-rock concert of the ages! Sotto the Hutt's slaves are putting on a show for you Sith Empire! In the capital of Crüe, a city built on rock and roll get your hair metal spray ready! Enjoy the concert, bid on slaves, buy some souvenirs, enjoy the foodstuffs provided by an assortment of food trucks!

Follow Darth Avacyn and her Valkyries into the defunct detention center, where something strange had been going on, and none of it looks good. The Valkyries nor the Brotherhood are afraid of spirits or demons, they've come prepared to capture and battle these paranormal upstarts. Some might even say they've come ready to bust some ghosts.

aqYljFq.png

There's plenty to do and to see, build a base, plot a colony - buy some stuff or just rock out all night long, whatever it is you wanna do - just do it!

An Iota-class Shuttle emerged from hyperspace, followed by many other ships of similar class and design. Before them loomed Orinackra, a world on the fringe edge of the Empire oft forgotten and neglected by the reigning government.

No longer.

New opportunities have brought the Empire to Wild Space, the possibilities of building a new detention center so far removed from the bulk of the Empire yet still in proximity to the Imperial capital of Bastion. The Sith Triumvir and member of the Sith Valkyries, an all-female order of Sith dedicated to proselytizing and converting Jedi and other non-Sith Force users to the Dark Side of the Force and the doctrine of the Sith Brotherhood, was supposed to personally lead an expedition to the site of the old decrepit Orinackra prison and expunge it of all...

Supernatural entities.

At least, that's what the local reports claim.

Darth Toth was more than moderately skeptical.

The Besalisk Sith Lord was one of many who had been dispatched to aid the Valkyries in their task, much to the chagrin of Lords like Toth who believed that his skills could be put to better use elsewhere in the Empire. Anywhere but chasing ghost stories out in the uncharted regions of the galactic north. Regardless, a mission from the Emperor was not to be dismissed or rejected. He would tag along and do what was required of him.

He was always eager to serve the Emperor.

iTbqlhO.png

Supernatural entities they said. What did the natives of Orinackra know of the supernatural?

Stepping off a shuttle the grim figure of a rather decrypted looking older man set the took the stage as he walked down the ramp into the hangar. Hands behind his back and pale white eyes inspecting the area his side ways glances warranted concern. His mouth moved constantly. Was he speaking? There was no sound that was emitted, least not one that could be heard! His spindly neck twisted and turn from right to left in a spasm the edged on insanity. Louder and more audible his rasp breathless voice came to verbalization. He was indeed speaking now. But to who?!

Through the voids of space and within the force itself the grim appearing Sith lord was not alone. Within his mind and personal perception another walked with him. A hooded figure, transparent in nature whispering sinister thoughts and ideas about what could and could not be in store for this expedition along with the Sith Empire Valkyries. For it anyone knew about the supernatural it would be someone who had visited the other side before and had learned the unique ability of controlling the spirits around him.

For this very reason Darth Immortuos was sent. Continuing his invisible conversation with his perceived ghost friend. Nulgath waited for the party to arrive.

Soon...

It was a good thing that the Kiffar had arrived so swiftly to the planet, and had a drink in front of him, the presence of...something. In his mind’s eye he saw mist in a storm, horrendous nebulae coursing and ionizing as it descended from a Sith shuttle. No doubt, a high ranking Sith Lord come to formally negotiate on behalf of the Empire with Sotto the Hutt.

Downing the whisky, the Sith Acolyte stepped out of the establishment for a moment, his skin crawling at the prospect of approaching the powerful aura, but steeling himself he went towards the hangars to greet them.

What he found was...certainly not Lady Pavanos, nor Valkyries like his intel had suggested. One was a Besalisk, the other...the other was a weathered corpse. Or what he would politely call a worn cadaver. But that...entity still crackled and pulsated with pure Force, a potency he had not sensed until now. Salvaging his nervous sweating, he focused on the Besalisk. While it would be foolish to presume any Sith Lord was weak, it wouldn’t do him well to be a blubbering fool before a powerful Sith Lord.

“My Lords…” the Kiffar bowed politely towards the company. “Lord Vaulkhar Zambrano has arranged a table for the Valkyries once the task of investigating the prison is done.” he then would stand at attention, his face and posture as stoic as he could muster under the glowering power of the nearby Sith Lord. “I am Trayze Tesar, and humbly offer you refreshments until the official meeting begins, if you so desire.”

iTbqlhO.png

Arriving on the planet in his Valkan Dagger, the Sith lord Darth Halcyon breathed the air in deeply through the rebreather and toxic filtering mechanism of his mask, noting that perhaps he might make some adjustments after having done a field test with his latest creation: his personal battlearmor simply called the Avantgarde. His robes were heavy, made it slightly difficult to move as freely as he would've wanted to, but they also added some protection from things he might miss despite his fine attunement to the force. His white eyes hidden behind his semi-see through smoked duraplast helmetcover scanned the area. Orders had been issued and decisions had been made, he was to accompany and support the Valkyries under Darth Avacyn's command in order to root out something that had been classified as supernatural.

For a moment the Sith Lord chuckled at this thought of 'supernatural' things, as even within the Sith ranks themselves, there were those that could've been called 'unnatural' or supernatural by themselves. Upon arriving at the designated rendezvous point, one of those 'unnatural' sith was already present: Darth Immortuos, a man...or a monster Darth Halcyon wished to examine one day, to figure out what made this 'thing' tick. Practically looking as if he was gliding over the ground thanks to the long Romex robes he was wearing, he arrived near them, giving a calm nod towards Darth Immortuos and Darth Toth, letting out a sigh for the fact that 'She' had yet to arrive, but could he voice his opinion on one of the Triumvirate or rather 'would' he, given that he was still viewed as a non-imperial, despite being dragged along for the ride for most of the recent events. "Well well...hunting supernatural entities...perhaps there is knowledge to be gained here," Looking at the acolyte who had arrived but moments before him, Darth Halcyon let out a deep sigh. "For some perhaps more than for others..."

While the lich like Sith Lord and the Besalisk were unexpected, Trayze Tesar did expect the Eriduan. Credius Nagath AKA Darth Halcyon, a formidably cultured Sith, and another aura of which to be pressed under. If not his aura, then surely his arrogance. The Kiffar would bow. "Lord Halcyon...Gentlemen, I believe knowledge would be best exchanged over food and beverages. Lord Vaulkhar sends his regards, and has arranged a table for us to dine." While it wasn't for them specifically to partake in, rather than the Valkyries after a no doubt swift dispatchment of the "paranormal" threat, Precinct 1247 taught Trayze how to think on his feet. "If you gentlemen wish to follow me, I am certain the staff at the hangar will alert us the moment the Valkyries arrive." the Sith Acolyte would begin to place himself next to the Eriduan and the Besalisk. "I understand that this may not be Symphonia Spires of your homeworld but...perhaps these establishments will provide a more...rustic form of entertainment." he admitted to the aristocrat. "Or play a rather interesting rendition of Hargivan's No. Six."

Trayze Tesar would be nothing if not prepared, having known for a fact that the Sith Noble would be aiding the Valkyries much like himself. As such, it was prudent for him to verse himself in Eriduan high culture, if anything to distinguish himself from the throngs of hopeful Acolytes that were in the galaxy. Keeping an ear open and his senses wary not only for the present company, but for any newcomers, Trazye would begin to escort his superiors into the cantina.

Music echoed throughout the large amphitheater as the party was beginning in earnest. Sith from all over the galaxy had gathered to experience a rock concert of the ages. Orinackra was another much needed opportunity for the Imperial forces to relax, party and flex their social skills to impress anyone and everyone looking their way. It truly was the place to be for both up and comers and reputable citizens alike.

Vaulkhar felt out of place amidst it all. The music was quite good as far as he was concerned, but his life was slowly changing in ways he never really considered. Prior to the invasion of Mandalore, Vaulkhar was a legitimized son of the Dark Lord sure, but it never changed anything for him. He was always an errand boy and soldier to his father. Anything Kaine Zambrano wanted dealt with that wasn't worth his time or attention fell to Vaulkhar. And to be honest, the halfbreed enjoyed it that way. Unlike his many siblings he never considered himself anything more than a soldier, but times were changing. Kaine had confided in him during their hunt together on the Celanon Hex in ways Vaulkhar did not expect. He had proven himself in the eyes of the emperor as more than just a soldier, but also a son. Vaulkhar had finally made his father proud and with it came a long list of perks and responsibilities.

One such perk was the lavish box seating he was afforded. A number of beautiful slaves had been selected by the Dark Lord to wait on his son's every need during the concert. He was even graced with a small fortune if he found any of the stock displayed worthwhile. Unfortunately, Vaulkhar was expected to represent the empire well and formulate connections between himself and anyone seeking his father's favor.

Social gatherings were never his strong suit. He much preferred the clashing of blades to the constant prattling politicians found so enticing. The night had yet to turn that direction, as he was still left to his own devices up in that beautiful box seating. Food was gathered on a plate beside him with various drinks lined alongside it. If things went well, Vaulkhar would be left to his own devices with plentiful amounts of food and drink, while his latest apprentice represented his interests to the Valkyries. If not, well, that be rather unlucky.

Though one would've expected Darth Avacyn to be there in person, as people arrived at the haunted detention center they would not find her there. At least, not in a corporeal form. Instead, a ghostly being bearing Avacyn's likeness awaited them close to the entrance. It was linked directly to its creator's conciousness, allowing her to see through the eyes and speak through the mouth of the apparition, though it had no physical presence. Through it, Avacyn was able to guide the Sith through the detention center, but not much more.

"I see everybody has arrived," the apparition said as the last of the Sith to arrive did so. "I am unable to join you in the flesh due to personal circumstances. I will, however, be with you through this spirit to guide and advise." The apparition flickered out of existence for a split second, before reappearing a little closer to the group."I am assuming you are all familiar with our objective," she gestured to entrance, inviting them to head on inside. "So unless there are any questions, let's start our investigation."

Meanwhile, Kaalia herself was on the same planet, but in a much more lively place. She and Ishana had travelled to the concert in Crüe after the latter convinced Kaalia she would be fine. It had not been very long since Ishana had been brought back from the Netherworld, something that made Kaalia realize how impermanent things truly were. She had nearly lost her for good and it made her even more grateful for every second she got to spend with her. Kaalia had been given a stark reminder not to take her family for granted.

Ishana was still recovering, but like with so many things, she managed to find a way to get Kaalia to agree. The redhead was adamant to not leave her alone for even a second in case anything happened, though that wasn't contested in any way. An excuse from both sides to spend as much time together as possible.

"If you don't feel well, tell me, okay?" Kaalia still worried for her wife's wellbeing. In a noisy and busy environment like a concert, it was easy to be overwhelmed when you weren't a hundred percent. If anything was the matter, no time would be wasted in getting her out of that environment and into a more quiet one.

Her demeanor shifted after that, however, to a more festive one. "It's been a while since we've been to a concert, hasn't it?" The atmosphere reminded her of some of their early dates and brought her back to those times. "I missed this." The music, the people, she even missed bailing Ishana out of situations gone awry as odd as that was. The first date on Bavva, the trip to Zeltros, the vacation on Makeb... And of course the date where Ishana said those three magical words for the first time.

"Miala? I just need you to know. I love you."

The memory left her with butterflies in her stomach all over again.

The arrival of what at first glance seemed to be Darth Avacyn, but ultimately appeared to be but a poor strategy of exerting control while remaining away from the actual preceedings and conductions of research and possible extermination annoyed Darth Halcyon greatly, his left hand clenching into a tight gripped fist, the metal plates of his gauntlet creaking under the strenuous force he was exerting upon them, yet perhaps more obvious as a show of his frustration at this mockery, was his right hand, twitching slightly with black sparks of electricity, gentle whisps of lightning flickering in between his fingers, while even behind the smoked duraplast of his helmet, two orbs of fiery amber hue could be noticed along the sound of gritting teeth. However, he left behind his frustration within a single sigh, letting his anger subside just as fast as it had arrived, with only cold apathy and brilliance allowed to dictate himself.

"I see...personal circumstances, a pity that such trifle matters would hinder you from enjoying this search for knowledge," Darth Halcyon made a solemn bow, a simple, respectful nod of his head, while practically gliding forward, passing along the image that looked like, but was not Darth Avacyn, but a mere ghostly image which simply could not hold Darth Halcyon's interest as much as the Triumvir herself would've been able to. "Truly a pity..."

With that he moved forwards, deciding to halt for a moment to allow Darth Immortous to come closer, so he could keep a good eye on the one thing that had not disappointed him in travelling this far just yet.

It was expected that Darth Avacyn would preside, though not be present on the planet but to the keen eye and intuition of the Kiffar...

Trayze would bow respectfully, more so than Halcyon. "Lady Avacyn, you need not worry overmuch about us." he reassured the Matriarch. "Between the four of us, anything paranormal will be swiftly dealt with. We will no doubt return to the cantina shortly after Lord Halcyon enjoys the sights." he would then speak lower, if only for the leader of the Valkyries to hear. "Give Lady Pavanos our regards, and wishes for a swift and successful recovery. Oh, and enjoy the concert." he would add with the faintest of coy grins. While he may be a novice in the ways of the Force, he still knew how to deduce where a person was from a hologram.

If nothing else was to be said, he stepped in the shadow of Halcyon and the wraithlike Sith Lord, speaking to the Besalisk. "I don't believe we've been acquainted, Lord...?"

iTbqlhO.png

Gathering along with the rest of the newcomers the pale skinned man stroked his beard examining the other Sith Lords. Pale eyes seemed to flicker a faint glow before the Sith lord let out a groan? "Gggghhhrrrrmmm" The sound originated in the throat and spilled out and through thin lips into open air. Turning a head to the kiffar [member="Trayze Tesar"], Nulgath blinked once hard giving the acolyte a wide eyed stare. His mouth began uttering saying once again and his conversations with what was the invisible started up again. After a minute they stopped ending with a faint smirk on pale white lips.

It seemed the valkyries were not accompanying them on this mission. Furrowing what was left of his brow Darth Immortuos took in a deep inhale of raspy air and expelled it with a light cough. A sign of his dissatisfaction with the situation, but there were perks. The Besalisk sith lord and the other lord seemed to be fine with what was going on. Well one of them at least. With the sudden appearence of [member="Kaalia Pavanos"]'s ghost, Immortuos couldnt help but be intrigued and further disappointed.

He gave hear before asking any questions to the Triumvir of Power. Glancing around as she spoke Nulgath let his stoic expression persist and after a remark or two by [member="Credius Nargath"]. The sith lord couldn't help but chime in and retort. " Indeed. A great pity it seems." He paused glancing in agreement with the sith lord next to him. " How disappointing...I was under the impression I or we were going to be assisting the Valkyrie directly." The siths left hand extended forward revealing a golden gauntlet lavished in crystals and electrum trim. " The price of flesh is obsession, my lady. Tell me what has obsessed you so that it warrants your immediate attention else where? You are the leader of the Valkyrie as well as Triumvir of power are you not?" He spoke sharply ignoring the comments made by the Kiffar acolyte and stepped forward toward the ghost of Kaalia. His questions for the most part being rhectorical in nature, a prod to the ego if nothing else. The time for pleasantries was over and as a high ranking prophet of the darkside, it was to be expected that Immortuos might not be able to further understand anything that did not involve the force. It that was the case.

" Boy. You'd walk into a place blind? First we gather knowledge." He gave a brief respite to the kiffar. " What is to be expected inside?"

"Phwmph!"
As The Exiles Path came out of hyperspace the Sith Lord Looked over the almost barren plot of space rock that was called a planet. It wasn't his first choice for a new military complex, but he wasn't going to turn down a chance to both impress his superiors and expand his own growing business empire. Having another complex would allow for more exports to be produced and to get the name of Vulcan Industries to grow, all while affording him more military power. His eyes scanned the surface looking for a suitable location to build on. He preferred mountains for the ground defenses they provided, however the keep factor here was distance, he didn't want anything to far from the capital city so as to key transportation costs down. "Activate the scanners you know my criteria" He said looking over to [member="Oriaxes"] , hoping that the young Mandolorian would be able to find him a better spot than the rocky crags he had locked his eyes on.

"I see."

Being challenged, even doubted, was nothing new to Darth Avacyn. It was in fact something she quite readily welcomed from those whose merits were not to be overlooked. But as the apparition turned towards Darth Halcyon, a frosty chill began hanging in the air. Her appearance flickered, bringing her face to face with the man. He did not merely challenge or doubt. He showed disrespect.

"Bold of you to make such assumptions. I do not recall telling you what those personal circumstances are, after all." Spectral eyes sought contact with his. "Besides, I am still here, am I not?"

Suddenly, the apparition cracked a toothy grin. "Though judging from your disrespect and arrogance towards me, I am doubtful words would convince you of anything." The appearance flickered again and away from Halcyon, and closing part of the distance between the apparition itself and Darth Immortuos. " If you wish to challenge my place within the empire, I am sure you know how to do so."

"As for your questions," she said, as her attention turned to Immortuos. "My reasons are my own, and not for you to know." Another flicker brought her once more closer to the detention center's entrance, though her eyes remained on the one she was talking to. "In fact, I don't have anything to say at all to someone who cannot even tell me apart from Darth Arcanix." Those words were spoken with venom. He would have to figure out where he had gone wrong himself.

"Are there any more grievances to air, before we get to the investigation?"

An H-type Nubian yacht approached the world of Orinackra, carrying the most precious cargo of all. A little girl with pink hair, seemingly too young to associate with Sith, but powerful in the Force and absolutely willing to use it. With a groan, she stretched her arms and legs in all directions, so much so she had managed to take over the entire queen-sized bed she laid sprawled over despite her small size. Yawning loudly, she watched the featureless ceiling, silently suffering through the long procedure it took the ship to land. Moving her arms up and down and her legs from side to side flooded her brain with the pleasant sensation of silky sheets slithering against bare skin. She liked that, evidenced by her eyes narrowing into tight slits. The moment she felt the Echoing Giggle thud and reach stillness, the Sithling shot out of bed and hurried outside.

Past her bed time, the child sported a set of pink pajamas crafted with the finest silk work. Before disembarking the yacht and scurrying toward the gathered Sith, she swept a deep red cape over her shoulders and mostly hid the sheer amount of pink on her person, at least knees up. Little feet clad in white, fluffy slippers continued to shamelessly peek out. There was no intention to stay awake for much longer, but she did intend to engage in spooky ghost hunting before calling it a night.

Ghosts? Real ghosts? Scary, creepy ghosts? What was a ghost? A shard of the past, a memory stuck in time and sentenced to relive one moment over and over?

Funami saw things in the present and never held much belief in the afterlife. When people died, that was it. That was why she lived in the present. One had to maximize their life. Do whatever she wanted without anything holding her back or any regrets. Because someday everyone was going to die and it could be tomorrow.

And if she died tomorrow, would she regret anything?

No, she’d be dead. And dead people regretted nothing. Still, Funami feared the great unknown beyond the mortal realm.

Unless she learned to cheat death. In spite of Funami’s adorable appearance, the girl was a Sith through and through and her heart, too, longed for a way to unlock immortality.

Perhaps the ghosts could help with that?

“Oh no, I missed the beginning!” She fretted and felt her eyebrows curl into a frown. It seemed the party had already started. Edging closer gave away the amassed collection of Sith to be anything but ordinary. Stuck with those awfully short legs of hers, it took a bit of time to catch up.

“My lords!” Funami put on the sweetest of smiles and bent her knees while bowing her head, not forgetting to hold her crimson cape out from her body in a hasty curtsy. “Sorry for being late. Got stuck getting clearance to land. Phew!”

A moment to catch her breath was necessary. Just a few seconds, which she used to scrutinize the gathered beings. Her pink-haired head snapped toward the flame-haired apparition, violet eyes wide with shock, and turned to the rest of the team. “Is this the ghost we’re supposed to catch?” The child asked with oblivious innocence and cast a gaze over to the man who looked more like a walking corpse, withered skin and all. Umm. Wow. You’re scary.”

Apparently it was a sunny day in the Netherrealm, for Trayze actually enjoyed the fact that the pint sized Sithling had decided to grace the party. "Afraid not, Miss Teriyaki-" the Kiffar Acolyte began smiling genuinely at his fellow apprentice. "It appears we need to recruit a spooky person to naturally root out spooky things." While it was no doubt unwise to refer so casually about a Sith clearly more versed in matters of life and death than Trayze had ever hoped to comprehend, the ostentatiously pink child would at least be an easy to spot landmark when they eventually delve into the detention center.

On the subject, the Acolyte turned to the Force projection. "My Lady?" he ventured "Are we certain that this is a "ghost" of sorts. The Force, or sufficient chemical compounds, can sometimes cause people to see what isn't actually there." he would then eye Lord Halcyon and his corpse like companion. "I of course will defer to the experts on the matter. Nevertheless, I remain confident that we may be able to shield our minds from any...supernatural shenanigans of sorts."

The closest thing the Kiffar had encountered to a "truly" paranormal encounter would be dealing with a cult back on Axxila, that utilized various chemical compounds to delude and daunt the populace into their service. For this reason, and perhaps in spite of the present company, he remained skeptical about the nature of "ghosts" and the like. On the other hand, these were the Emperor's Confessors, those chosen to root out heterodoxical behaviour and to convert Jedi to Sith mindset. The Galaxy, and indeed the Force, had many mysteries of which to unravel.

"The people of this world know little of ghosts and the Force, to them it is one in the same," Charlyra spoke up from the back, the Battle Sister and apprentice to Darth Avacyn gave little in the way of acknowledgment to the group here. "A local construction company with ties to the Sith Empire has reported strange noises, doors opening and closing - footsteps, and the feeling of being watched. Others say they've heard someone speaking but there was no one there." The detention center was dark, dilahpitated at best - a site for condemnation at the worst. A slight smile toward the young girl, "sadly it is not. Inside will be Force ghosts, spirits of the netherworld and perhaps more. I urge you all to recall your training and studies, remember that you are stronger than what lay inside but if for any reason you feel that you are not strong enough. I'm sure no one would be upset if you departed now."

A slight nod toward her Master, "my apologies on being late, there was a slight delay at the Starport." A murderous delay no doubt, but a delay nonetheless. There would be a Valkyrie to aid and lead the way perhaps other Valkyries would join in good time. "Now if there are no other questions, let us proceed."

"Either it's just me or I can't even remember the last concert we went to..." Ishana remarked, and admittedly everything was still a blur. She looked down at her hands, memories of floating in the River Styx came rushing back. A slight gasp of air as she put her hands to her chest. "I'm good, promise." She lied through her teeth not wanting to upset Kaalia any further it seems. Death was a cold and bitter memory now but one that she did not want to touch again. "I know habibi, I know and listen I just, I just want to tell you how grateful I am for you, taking this malaka out of the hands of Hades himself."

A slight pause, as the music began to start up, "oh well here we go... the concert manned by slaves... " She narrowed her gaze as the lights went up on the stage and the music began to play.

A chuckle escaped the man's lips when being confronted by the apparition, noting that indeed the image was not Darth Avacyn's, but even if this were the Voice of a member of the Triumvirate, such matters did not truly need to be pointed out in any way. Waving his hand lightly through the air when the woman seemed to have laid bare her opinion in regards to his defiant nature,, the chuckle instantly subsided. "Milady, if one does not challenge their superiors and question their superior's motives, they are not fit to serve, just as the master needs to needs to be vigilant of the challenges that await them, so too must the servants be willing to test the master's resolve and readiness to face the challenges ahead," Letting out a sigh, the man looked at how she berrated the otherworldly looking Darth Immortuos before apparently letting her displeased demeanor subside a bit. Noticing the grin upon the apparition's face, Darth Halcyon could only sigh after hearing what came next. Though he decided not to be too direct for now, the fact that this woman thought he was gunning for her position was both prepostrous and hilarious at the same time, but he refrained himself from outwardly showing such feelings.

Looking down towards the arriving acolyte, Darth Halcyon didn't know what to say for a moment. Not sure wether this child was simply acting as the embodiment of innocence or just acting, merely to avoid other kinds of attention. "No child, what you see here is but an image, a mirage conjured up through the force by Darth Avacyn, as she herself..." The Sith Lord's helmet turned slightly towards the apparition before snapping back towards the child. "Is busy with...more personal affairs."

Darth Halcyon's ears perked up when noticing another late arrival, a Sith Lady, no doubt a direct servant to Darth Avacyn, something which was instantly made clear when the woman announced herself to be a Valkyrie. Though he understood that these women were highly trained and skillful masters, Halcyon still did not like how she thought herself to be in command of this small band of Sith, but than again, as this was a sanctioned operation under the watchful eye of Darth Avacyn...to some extend at least, he reckoned that the member of the Triumvirate would obviously choose one of her own to lead this mission. Alas, her...seemingly motherly nature somewhat annoyed him. "Delay that order, as Acolytes of the Sith, they should see this as a trial to test their strength and competence, an opportunity such as this to gain more knowledge on the mysteries of our galaxy will only benefit them when they face it head on, to run as a coward is to disgrace oneself as a Sith."

To prove his point, the man turned around and started walking towards the so-called haunted place, activating the hud within his helmet to display his full surroundings while he was taking point.

"Oh," She said, pausing for the burn of alcohol after taking a sip from the shot glass she had pressed up against her lips. "That's good."

The Tetan wasn't on Orinackra for the prison system, and she wasn't here for trade and guns - responsibilities she'd given over to the Confederacy as she retired into cultural obscurity in her native system. Another sip, a clap of glass against the steel tabletop as she casually slapped it and her hand down, and a smile spread across her lips as another act began on one of the many stages in this festival of cruelty. No, with her son in boarding school and her partner as fickle and absent as ever, Lily was here to enjoy a week touring the galaxy. Today it took her to the edge of Sith imperial space, and in a few days it would take her to the rim of Mandalorian holdings, but her itinerary for the coming week was the furthest thing from her mind as she turned her head to stare out from the roped off lounge and towards the ships that streamed in overhead.

"I'm sorry, I'll have to cut it short here. I have a friend that should be arriving soon, can't really catch up if I'm sleeping off the spice and headache, can I?" Lily said with a practiced smile, dropping a credit chip on the table that displayed the contents via hologram. "Keep the change." She said as she stood to leave.

Lord Toth watched each Sith who joined him with wary eyes, saying nothing but observing everything. When one of the smaller beings made his way up to inquire about his identity, the Besalisk snorted in annoyance but replied all the same; "I am Lord Toth, and I have come here to see the Emperor's will be done." As the last of his words trailed away into silence, the image of Darth Avacyn materialized before them all in an exceptionally dramatic manner.

The apparition spoke of how the real Avacyn was indisposed at the moment and could not meet with them in person.

A disappointment, to be sure.

Toth had heard many a story about the Triumvir of Strength, and he was saddened that he would not be able to verify the veracity of such tales. Regardless, he stamped down his feelings and strode forth to stand amidst the others who had gathered to heed the illusion's words. "Regardless of the nature of these... paranormal activities, we shall rectify whatever has impeded the Emperor's designs no matter the cost. This pointless squabbling distracts us from our true purpose in serving our Immortal Emperor." One of his four hands unhooked one of the hinged lightsabers that hung from his hip, holding it aloft and unlit to show that he was ready to begin.

"Let us be underway, we are wasting time."

Vaulkhar continued doing a whole lot of nothing. It was honestly the best way to spend the evening. While he hadn't really bothered with much of the food or drink, he had come to really enjoy the music. It wasn't something he was expecting, but there was never a reason to fight off a sense of enjoyment. After a particularly riveting performance he motioned over one of the slaves waiting on him. A pang of annoyance shot through him as he looked over the young man coming his way. Vaulkhar never really agreed with slavery, it was one of the few things he had in common with Jedi. Appearances mattered though, so he made an effort not to seem displeased. If he did, the assumption that death at the hands of his father would come to these men and women lingered. It was something he wanted to avoid. As the lad stepped up to him Vaulkhar opened his mouth to speak.

"This past band that played was rather enjoyable. If you would go make an offer to the slug, I would greatly appreciate," Vaulkhar's best attempt at a charming smile decorated his handsome features.

"Of course, my Lord. I will return shortly!"

As the slave scurried off, Vaulkhar could not help but notice the unease that dotted the others. While he was not quite as notorious as others within the Empire he was still a Sith Lord. Something and someone they all feared. Frustration bubbled inside him but he said nothing. Ideas slowly began to formulate in his mind as he returned his gaze to the show.
