- Overcharge: The Akrith Blaster Rifle is capable of being set, briefly, to an Overcharge setting. This setting greatly increases the weapons damage potential by creating a explosive shot from a single bolt. This overcharge shot will detonate on impact on any surface, posing a threat to both lightsaber wielding foes as well entrenched enemy positions.
- Overcharge: While a powerful weapon, the overcharge setting for the Akrith Blaster Rifle drastically depletes the power cells of the weapon. A single overcharge shot will consume half a power cells supply of energy, preventing it from being used on a power cell already below half.
- Semi-Automatic: The Akrith Blaster Rifle does not have a fully automatic fire setting, capable of only a limited rate of fire. Each shot is more powerful, but the Akrith is ill suited to dealing with large numbers of enemy fighters.
The Akrith Blaster Rifle is the first mass produced weapon of war created by the Sith Legion. Produced aboard the mobile capital of the Sith Legion, the Akrith is designed for the Sith Legions preferred method of war. High powered, overwhelming force brought to bear against a single target. Given the foes they are likely to face, the Akrith is also equipped with means to take on lightsaber wielding opponents with its overcharge setting.
