STRENGTHS
  • Massive Construction Yard: Spanning a length of eight-point-three miles and a width of thirty-seven-and-a-half miles, the Yvarro construction yard is one of the largest, if not the largest, orbital dockyards in the entirety of the Sith Empire. Assembled in secret over the unpopulated world of Kadavo, it was meant to construct the Empire's most secret projects.
  • Automated Production Facilities: Inside the Yvarro's cavernous interior are massive automated production facilities slave-linked to a series of central computers operated by organic overseers. These automated systems allow the station to transmute unrefined ore into refined metals in massive slagworks, which are then assembled into various technologies determined by a schematic algorithm based on input from the command staff.
  • Redundant Defensive Systems: Scattered across the surface of the Yvarro are bulbous deflector shield generators that produce overlapping fields of protection over the wide surface of the station. Internal bulbs serve as ancillary generators in the event that the exterior generators are either taken offline or destroyed.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Weapons: In its dedication to pure production, the Yvarro was left bereft of any offensive capabilities. In the place of weapons were instead massive sensor suites that constantly scan the star system, and colossus droid brains meant to sift through the Empire's massive logistic databanks and operate the titanic machinery that constructed the Empire's machines of war.
  • No Engines: Built entirely in-system, the Yvarro was denied any form of sublight engines other than massive repulsorlift basins that kept the station in geostationary orbit above Kadavo.
  • No Hyperdrive: Along the same lines as the station's negligence in sublight technologies, the Yvarro also doesn't possess any sort of hyperdrive of similar system.
DESCRIPTION

With the Empire's territory stretching all the way into the very fringes of the Outer Rim, multiple worlds long thought lost to galactic society were rediscovered and charted by the Sith. Kadavo was one such world, once an outpost of the great Zygerrian Slave Empire and a site of one of their many processing facilities. When the Empire came upon it, the planet had become a haven for anti-Imperialist rebels and anarchist vagrants. An assault force was dispatched to Kadavo to eradicate the rebel presence, and a heated skirmish broke out at a former Zygerrian fortress turned rebel stronghold.

In the end, the Empire triumphed over the rebels and slaughtered them to a man. Since those blood-soaked days the planet had been transformed into a concentration zone for slaves and prisoners of war; multiple facilities erected to house a massive incarcerated population. Those who were sent to Kadavo were never heard from again, and the planet was eventually redacted from Imperial records and blacklisted completely.

Little did anyone know the true extent of the Empire's operations at Kadavo. Slaves were conscripted as laborers to mine the planet and surrounding satellites of raw material, thousands sacrificed in a seemingly endless and pointless accumulation of resources. The monolithic Yvarro construction yard was built in orbit above the planet, though it was impossible to know for what purpose. The number of officials who knew of the dockyard's purpose were slim to none, with actual knowledge of the station being reserved for the highest levels of the Imperial government; each and every one of them sworn to absolute secrecy.

But as vague shapes began to materialize in the ashen sky, it was a secret that could not be held for long.
