I'm Sorry Dave

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The Silverlark-class was designed by the yacht-manufacturer Vanguard Hypernautics to prove the Globex Corporation with a stylish new shuttle for its executives. As is Globex's way, they promptly began manufacturing it for third parties as well.
As a shuttle designed for comfort and elegance over cramming people in, it is better suited for diplomats and Corpos than the unwashed masses. Likewise, the lack of armaments and civilian-grade hull (albeit a hull protected by a potent shield system) make it a poor choice for military ops, at least official ops - every once in a while, it is easier to send in a team of armed and armoured killers in a civilian shuttle than a gunship.
The Silverlark-class is a popular choice for the single shuttle a Mirage-class Superyacht can carry on board, due to its style and comfort.
LAYOUT
The Silverlark-class is typically entered from an extendable rear-mounted ramp, which leads into a fairly narrow airlock; when landed planetside, it is usually completely open, but its inclusion can be live-saving if emergencies occur while in space. After the airlock is the main space, extending all the way from the rear of the shuttle to the window at its front - it can be one continuous space or divided into individual rooms.
Two bathrooms - one more than the Lambda - prevent Corpos from having to wait in line like a peasant. The room(s) also have a few cabinets built into the walls; some are used for storage, others hold droids in standing chargers. There are also access points to the low-roofed storage room that can be found under the passenger section; the storage room can also be accessed from the cockpit.
The cockpit is located at the bottom front and can be accessed from a ladder at the front of the passenger section and an exterior access point. If the pilots are replaced with a droid brain, this section is either converted to storage or left behind in case manual overrides are desired.

- The Silverlark-class is equipped with all the features and facilities expected of a vessel of its size and purpose.
- In its default configuration, the Silverlark-class can transport up to sixteen people in comfortable seating; two to four Scions are normally kept available for various service tasks and are stored in wall-integrated standing chargers when not in use. Alternatively, the Silverlark can be split into up to four staterooms, a small lounge, and the cockpit; regardless of configuration, various amenities are available.
- Many Silverlarks have security droids (e.g., Scions or Sentinels) held in wall-integrated standing chargers.
- Especially affluent or paranoid customers often opt for Praetorians or other elite droids.
- In an emergency, a Silverlark's main chassis can separate from the wings and engine pods; repulsors should secure a safe landing. In case of a lack of power, parachutes can supplement them or take over entirely. Due to this, lethal Silverlark crashes are exceptionally rare.
- Silverlarks are outfitted with the advanced systems required to quickly and efficiently re-route power between its core systems. Common uses include routing power from engines to shields to weather incoming fire or vice versa to escape a dangerous situation.
- Advanced ECM systems ensure the privacy of passengers and can be used among other things to scramble hostile targetting systems.
- High-end inertial compensators protect passengers from being mildly annoyed by atmospheric reentry.
- The Silverlark-class can be fitted with faster hyperdrives - for a hefty fee.
- Elegant Transportation: Silverlarks are fast, agile, comfortable, secure, and aesthetically pleasing; all essential properties for a shuttle.
- Elegant Transportation: While hardly devoid of safety measures, Silverlarks are by no means designed for military operations, not least because of their completely unarmed nature. Unlike the Lambda, they are ill-suited for battlefield deployments.
