Silly Game, Silly Prizes
He felt old, older than he should have felt. There was a sense of weight about his shoulders, like someone had forced a durasteel cloak onto him, and just let it sit there. Just going about now felt...unwieldy. He blamed it on his new assignment, this 'Shadow' stuff was difficult, but it was a good sort of challenge. It helped him with finding his path, the true middle road in a sense. Not that it made life any easier mind you, but, what was life without a little bit of struggle? Boring obviously. So, on his way to meet with his beloved Aayla, that weight on his shoulders was slowly slipping off, little by little. 4U was still plugged into his X-wing on the landing pad just across from him, but it didn't stop the droid from blowing up his comlink. "<Given her behaviors, she's going to ask for marriage, or inform you she's pregnant. It's simple human biology.>" He grimaced, finger over the 'off' switch on his device, brow twitching in irritation.
"No, no. We are not having this talk right now. 4U we talked about this, do not start trying to give me tips on how to date my girlfriend. I'm not going to start second guessing myself because you 'think' you know what's going on." His feet touched the landing ramp, and mistakenly thought he had succeeded in shutting the droid up. "<Well I'm not the one who got her pregnant.>" "She is not-" The 'click' on the other end informed him the droid was no longer listening, and for a long moment, Kadan stared at the device in hand, fuming at the droid on the other side. He took in a breath, and stowed the device, he'd give 4U a talking to later.
Entering onto the ship, he gave it a glance, and was a bit taken at what his girlfriend had acquired. "Can't wait for the story behind this one." He muttered, his footfalls sounding against the hull of the ship, as he felt for her presence, moving through the corridors until he arrived outside her room, and calmly keyed the 'open' switch. The door opened, and he was greeted with the sight of her laying in bed, a smile stretched across his face, now wishing he had worn something nicer than his jedi robes for the occasion. "Sorry, I think I have a reservation here for tonight?" He chuckled, hoping that this talk wouldn't end on as bitter a note as their last one.
