Shattered Empire

Location: Osseriton, Imperial Palace

Prelude:
The Empire had fallen completely. After an attempt by a small faction to bring back the imprisoned Emperor through use of force, a group of one thousand and twenty-one civilians, soldiers, pilots, and officers was arrested and stood trial. Along with them stood Ex Emperor, Toran Fel. Standing in defense of charges of high-treason and multiple murders of the Regents private security, all but two defendants were sentenced to death. Two weeks after the ruling, Toran Fel was executed by firing line along with 5 high ranking officers of the Fel Navy. Though the people were against the emperor and his inability to rule, they hated the method in which their leader had dealt with him, a portion of the population would not allow their "Rightful" leader to be shot by his own military, they felt their was no lower way to die. After the executions and trials, Harris degraded some of the remaining conspirators sentences from death, to mere life in prison. The damage was already done however. Just two days after the execution of Toran Fel, public opinion in some of the worlds began to shift in favor of Harris' step down from rule. Despite not wanting to, Harris caved to public opinion and planned his resignation speech.
The night before his resignation, Harris lay asleep in his bed, he was awoken by the sounds of blaster fire and screaming. The doors to his chamber opened and he was shaken by the sight of several soldiers, covered in blood, screaming for him to run. He didn't run, Harris shot out of bed, and as told by the men in that room, pulled the golden blade of a lightsaber from his drawer and defended himself and his men from the onslaught that was another coup attempt. The following day, rather than stepping down, he remained quiet. He received transmission after transmission of successful coups on many other Imperial worlds. All of them stating their secession from the Fel Empire. Harris stood silently, watching a map projection of the empire he tried so hard to save, be broken up into smaller and smaller sub factions. This wasn't the end, it couldn't be. But for now, that's what it seemed as Harris stared at videos of his revolting populace. Now he, and the remainder of his loyal military, ruled over a small portion of the capital. Though the city was still partially under their control, nothing else was, no land outside the city boarders flew the Imperial insignia.

Setup:
It has been 3 months since the complete dissolution of the Fel Empire. Harris serves as both the Grand Premier of the Free Kingdom Of Osseriton, and Supreme commander of His Royal Highnesses Military. Through a deep search, a man by the name of Alexander Martin has been discovered to be the 2nd cousin, and closest living relative to Toran Fel, He ruled as "King Alexander Fel I". Though he holds no political power, having someone of royal blood back on the throne lessens the threat of any more civil unrest. The Government, however stable, is lacking on resources, and plans to take back the capital world. With support from a major galactic power, a few ships, mainly Harris' throne, a few venators, and all the remaining fighters remain fueled and resupplied. Though the ships are operational, the Royal military can't field the venators at the same time as Harris' throne due to manpower constraints. This has caused Harris to cut funding to the crews of the larger ships and retrain those willing as fighter pilots. With a mix of poor economic assistance, no real protection, and the government looking to any method possible to get much needed supplies.

Grand Premier Harris has sent out a transmission to any survivors of the great wars of expansion, inviting them all to the Palace on Osseriton. His plan is simple, he and whoever responds, with the help of a team of bounty hunters are to intercept a convoy carrying food, ammunition, and money. It won't be easy, but if they can capture one of the transport frigates, they will have enough food to feed the population of the Fel capital, and enough money to fill the imperial treasury, save for the bounty hunters wages. Now, Harris sits in the briefing room, waiting for a response from the remnants of his Shattered Empire

Deadeye

Ressurected by a cult
Deadeye's ship entered the atmosphere of Osseriton. It was strange, he had come to the aid of someone who he has attempted to kill, and who in turn he has tried to kill. His A-wing shifted and rumbled as it slowed. As deadeye got closer, he was Hailed by a single acclamator that floated silently over the city. After giving reason for landing, and being cleared, he was routed for the Ports.

Deadeye's A-wing came to a landing, the gear locked onto the ground and he depreassurized his cockpit. As deadeye grabbed the release handle and twisted it, a massive puff of steam and gasses spewed out from the canopy and into the open air. Harris pulled up the AI on his counsel, a small red projected circle appeared.

"Open the canopy."

The Canopy swung backwards and a ladder deployed down the right side of the hull. Deadeye stood slowly in the cockpit and through his legs over the side and slowly descended the ladder. As he planted his feet on the ground, the AI appeared back on his helmet display. With a single beep, it triggered the ship ladde to colapse back in and the canopy to close. Deadeye patted at his sides to check and be sure he wasn't missing anything. Blaster, check. Food, check. Wrist terminal, He shifted his arm upwards and tapped on the display, check. With a nod, deadeye began forwards and out of Port Hanger 2 and towards the entrance to the city. As he walked through the lowly populated halls towards the city gate, he noticed the people and their look of happiness yet frugalness. He didn't like Harris, not by a long shot, but if he was desperate enough to pay someone he couldn't trust to help him, then he really needed it. Deadeye approached an opening that lead into a courtyard with a beautiful set of duel twisted tree's. Each tree sat on a small identical hill that rested in the middle of twin fountains that poured water down in a continuous flow. It was beautiful. Deadeye walked down the marble path towards a large gate, incrusted in gold that stated "Welcome to Osseriton."

Deadeye walked past the guards at the toll and towards the palace.

The palace was massive, truly impressive. On the outside, massive pillars held up the large inscribed roof. There were paintings of members of the Fel family lining the walls of every hallway, and there were several wings. The eastern wing held the beautifully crafted kings chambers and royal throne room. The throne room was like a massive ball room with 2 two long tables which had the richest foods played upon them during feasts. Along with the impressive scale, there was the throne itself. Sitting upon a velvet rug and on a risen platform, the throne was made of the best platforms and placed on a golden frame. All the walls were white marble save for the section of wall with the throne which had a large window with beautiful painted glass. The western wing was far different. As Deadeye marched up the stairs into the entrance and turned right down the main corridor, he noticed the shift in appearance. Less gold, less precious artifacts and artwork. This wing was a marble shell of the other one. Despite this however, it was still one of the most beautiful places he'd ever been. Deadeye walked past room after room before finally stopping and entering the briefing room. Upon entering the sliding door, Deadeye looked around the polished room at the white ambient lights placed beneath the three smaller windows of the opposite room. He spotted Harris in the center of the room, near a projection of the planet.
Deadeye looked Harris head to toe. He smirked at the sight of this strange grey uniform with a cloak. Looking at his peaked hat and stern look, he had mentally confirmed the was William. His raspy voice broke the silence of the room like a blade as he started. "Long time, Premier."

Harris stood silently, he knew the voice but didn't want to turn around. Despite putting out the call, he'd never of expected Eric to show up. Harris put his arms by his side and subtly felt for his lightsaber at his belt. He turned and faked a smile.

"Thank you Eri- Erm… I mean.... Deadeye. I appreciate you coming to help."

Harris Held out his hand to shake.

WD-334 received the signal. An old name in it's memory, a name it recognized in the directory of past allies. Yes. Harris. The droid, however did not tell the other Metal Lords. In this, instead the droid went on it's own in it's ship. The Obsidian Edge, the Victory-class that the droid captained. And the droid had sent ahead a response to answer to the ally of the past, and soon the ship arrived to the system. WD-334 alerted to Harris that he had arrived to the system, and the war droid went aboard a shuttle. And down the shuttle went, down to the planet and towards the palace.

WD-334's shuttle came down to a landing platform where the droid disembarked. However, with the droid came some personal guard. The droid finally found Harris, and with another. The droid paused, some distance away and just observing the two.

@Deadeye @Regent William Harris I

The Star Cest’s engines screamed as it flew over the capital city. It was really hard for Kalic to believe at first. That everything would just... fall apart like this. It also made him happy that he used a personal starfighter. The pilot had been doing odd jobs here and there to get credits, but it was clear something had to change. That’s why he wasn’t too surprised to get a transmission from Harris.

The modified Y-Wing lowered onto one of the landing pads outside of the palace. He and his droid, G3-D9, quickly departed and walked towards the meeting room. It was the first time the Miraluka had been to the palace and he had to admit that it was interesting. Sure, he could only vaguely see the paintings, and couldn’t really see the colors, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

It was then that Kalic walked in to an interesting sight. Harris with some other person. A bounty hunter perhaps. The Force around the Premier gave away his concern to the Force Sighted being, which only made Kalic more curious as to what he had walked into.

After the uncomfortable pause, deadeye shool Harris' hand. Harris was looking for any was to break the tension's in the room.

"Ah... @kalic saws nice to see you, and [member="WD-334"] it has been a long time. Please, sit and make yourselves comfortable. We will begin soon.

Harris motioned at circular table before fixing his cloak and looking back at the projection.

The mandalorian presence in the room was heavy, but Harris was glad his allies made good on their promise. In times like these, actions as little as showing up were heavily rewardable.
"Welcome gentlemen, glad you could join us. Please be seated, we are waiting for just a few more people.
Harris began scrolling in the map and focused in on a system close to osseriton.

WD-334 looked around. And then, chose to stand. If the hulking droid were to sit, it may never get up again due to it's sheer weight and size along. Instead it looked is if it was leaning on it's shield beside it, standing upright. "It has been long. Approximate time of..." The droid paused, they no doubt didn't need to hear that. "Nevermind, it has been long." Others soon joined them. Mandalorians? WD-334 saw the astromech and made some bleep sounds at it, attempting communication.

As the leader of the Fel Knights, Jairdain had been slightly negligent in her duties with the empire. There were so very few of the Knights to begin with and when the Empire went into upheaval, they had scattered to all ends of the galaxy. She had returned her attention to the affairs of the other governments she was a part of and participated in assisting the Alliance and Commenor when they were attacked by the Sith.

When the call came out from Harris to return to the capital, she did not hesitate. There was a change in her though. She now carried life within her and glowed with health. However she was still not yet far along enough for it to be noticed outwardly. Those that were sensitive in the Force might be able to pick up on what was going on with her.

"Good day, gentlemen. I apologize for arriving slightly later than expected. Things have been quite busy with me."

She did not wear something that might be seen as anything a Grand Master would wear, but she was dressed formally in the colors of the Empire. A head scarf covered her hair and a tiny gem dangled from it at the tip of her forehead.

"It's allright Jairdain, please take a seat."

Releaved, Harris turned back to the map and projected an area near the Osseriton system. As Jairdain sat be began

"Well, we have waited long enough and I doubt anone else is coming, so let us begin. Osseriton is running low on supplies, desperately so. Seeing as our bank is empty, we cannot buy the supplies we need to prosper, and without proper communications system, we'd never be able to broadcast galaxy-wide for help. That's why some of you received a physical letter on invitation."

Harris paused for a minute, he touched the hilodisplay and sipped images from the map to a freighter.

"I will not let my people starve, that's why I called you. In our shit range communications array, we intercepted a call from a freighter passing through the system. On board the ships they have weapons, ammunition, food, clothing, and millions if credits between them. We will form two teams. Team one will be [member="Deadeye"] , [member="Kaine Australis"] , and the mandalorians. Your group will be assigned one of our pilots. The rest of you are coming with me in team 1. Team 1, we are to board the lead ship on the convoy we will kill the crew and hijack the ship, team 2 is to do the same. We will return here after both ships are taken. Team 2, your ship has less money in it, only about 3 million, but you get to split it up amongst yourselves. My team, our ship has about 12 million credits aboard, you are each aware of how much your guys will earn in your assistance. Whatever happens, no matter what, you must bring the supplies back here."

Harris smiled at the group and motioned for the group to stand.

"Let's move."

[member="WD-334"] , [member="Kalic Daws"] [member="Jairdain"]

Kalic sat down, Jee staying close behind him, to listen to Harris’s plan. Jairdain was there, but the Miraluka could see something was different about her. He could see it in the Force around her. The Mandalorians were an interesting sight. The former hired gun pilot wasn’t necessarily scared of them, but he was still wary. He knew that if they were hired, they were honor bound to complete the job, but had been on the receiving end a few times now. At least they were on his side this time.

It was then that Harris revealed the plan. Steal some freighters for their supplies. When he heard that the bounty hunter team would be supplied a pilot, Kalic wondered who would get the job. After Harris explains the mission, he motioned for everyone to stand, but Kalic soon approached the Premier. “So what am I doing bose?”

Harris turned off the main terminal and faced [member="Kalic Daws"] .
"You will be with me, we have a soldier that is going to fly the other ship, his name is Sergeant Vickers. We all ride together to the port. and then we'll board our vesses and head to the objective."
Harris finished speaking and quickly told Kalic to hurry along.
The group moved in total contrast to the rest of the people near the palace. People came and went along as normal in crowds, only to be split up or rerouted due to a team of marines escourting a group of mandalorians, sith, droids and a blind man. Harris stood behind that group with his own personal protection unit. The group walked down the path across the royal lawn and through the gates. Just outside the gate, a large land speeder hovered waiting for the passengers. The groups all embarked and tool off towards the port.
Upon arriving, the two groups split off and boarded separate vessels. The ships took into orbit, they blasted through the atmosphere and upwards at a high speed before quickly zipping away in hyperspace.

Harris and his crew sat in the ship's conference room, the lights were bright white and the ship's air was crisp. Harris was leaned back in a chair resting while [member="Sergeant Vickers"] walked behind him, patrolling the ship. Some guards just stood ready while others caught up on some much needed rest. Harris and his team all sat around the table waiting to drop from hyperspace. Harris opened his eyes and looked up, in a haze, to see everyone doing their own thing. Two guards play a game at one end of the table, bartering, while a naval officer grabbed a beverage from the counter near the entrance. Harris stood slowly and stretched before walking tiredly towards the exit of the room. He stopped right next to the officer in his blue uniform.

"How long till we arrive?"

"We are preparing to drop soon."

Harris thanked him and walked into the hallway and turned towards the bridge. As he began walking, two stormtroopers walked up behind him and began to trail him. Harris approached the doors to the bridge and turned.

"Wait outside, I'll brief you from there."

Harris turned around as the two troopers rippled out of existence. He walked through the doorway and greeted the pilot and small crew of 4. He approached the main pilots chair, behind and to the left of his own, and peered over the pilots shoulder to see their location. He smiled and nodded.

"Sir, we'll be coming out of hyperspace in just a moment, you may want to sit down for this."

Harris walked to his chair and sat, he leaned over and pushed the button to an intercom that activated on the armrest. He leaned into it.

"All personnel, please get to a comfortable or safe position, we are dropping out of hyperspace."

As Harris stopped talking, he turned off the intercom and looked at the pilot who nodded before pulling a bar at his terminal. The ship spun slowly and dramatically decreased speed as space became less and less warped before finally dropping completely out of hyperspace. Harris stood and approached the window, he looked out and seen the other ship come out right behind them. Harris, satisfied, then looked out the front. Far off in the distance was the sight of three YZ-2500 Freighters flying far off in space.

"Is the Venators ready?"

"Yes sir."

"Bring in the firepower then."

Harris had planned for the freighters to be armed, he ordered two fighter groups of TIE's fly in and disarm them, but due to their design, he had to use a carrier to bring them in, seeing as they has no hyperspace capabilities. The problem was the extreme lack of fuel by the Fel Military right now, so any mission would have to be extremely brief.

In an instant, a Venator flew out of hyperspace into the system, as soon as it was out it began deploying fighters. It was in the system no more than 1 minute before both squadrons were deployed and all 10 were moving to strike the freighter guns, as soon as they were gone, it re-engaged and got out. The ships zoomed ahead of the transports towards the convoys and arched in from above. The freighters began firing their small ion blasters at the sight of the fighters, they had expected them after spotting the Venator. The fighters began strafing the ships, and before long, after two fighters were destroyed, the vessels were disarmed. Harris waited for the all clear. He turned towards the pilot.

"Bring us in."

Vickers quickly jogged towards the ship's small armory. He approached the door and opened it before stepping in and grabbing his helmet, backpack, and DC-15. The order had just gone out that they were preparing to board, and had to get ready. As he stood, several other members of his squad approached and geared up.

"All right men, Let's head towards the airlock and prepare."

WD-334 listened in upon the plan. They were to raid some freighters, steal some credits and resources, and that was it? WD-334 was not much of a pirate, and this sounded like pirate work. But still, a debt was owed for [member="Premier William Harris I"]'s aid during him time in the Metal Lords. So, the war droid was prepared to act this way. With the small force it had with it, some of it's shield-wielding guard and a couple of the Dark Troopers it had designed for itself.

WD-334 went with the others of team one aboard the vessel. WD waited for the ship to arrive to it's destination. The plan was given, the droid and it's forces were ready. And once the sound of docking was made, WD began to move. "This unit can take front in case of enemy fire" the droid suggested, holding it's large shield out.

Kalic had really not stayed still during the entire flight. Call it a pilot thing, but he preferred being at the controls of the ships he was on. The eyeless pilot had also made sure his T-21 heavy blaster was ready. If he was going to fight "on the ground" he was going to at least have a weapon he was use to using. Jee had most just haphazardly combed through some of the files kept aboard the ship. Nothing she shouldn't have been seeing, but just some general data.

The Miraluka in the end just hung around the pilot of the vessel. At the very least it was interesting to watch their reactions to him. But soon, the vessel had leapt out of hyperspace and was ready to push forward. He watched as the TIEs screamed in to knock out the weapons systems of the targets. Admittedly they were probably better suited for it than the Star Crest. The modified fighter was more likely to destroy the cargo in the process with its cannons and torpedoes. But Kalic knew that meant he'd have to get moving to the airlocks as Jee followed behind him.

ES-06

Guest
E
Location: Aboard the ESU Frigate

Walking up the stairs he opened the door to the flight deck, stepping in he grabbed his holo-communication device outstretching his hand he turned it on, " ESU prepare for a mission ES-03 and ES-08 suit up get ready to breach a vessel, the others suit up for flight get ready to be deployed in starfighters " ending the communication ES-06 sat down taking control of the Frigate and jumping into hyperspace he was on his way to help the Fel Empire. Most of the Fel Empire was not aware ESU was coming but then again they are a stealth team and they did their job very well.

" B-7 keep the ship on course " ES-06 stood up making his way for the door " As you wish " the droid accepted his command, walking to the armory ES-06 grabbed custom Echani based Vibro-blade attaching it to the magnet on his belt. Grabbing the rest of his explosives ES-06 made his way back to the flight deck to wait for his orders to attack.

The ship rattled as the engines accelerated it forwards at unbelievable speeds. This was the groups chance. Harris sat quietly in the captains seat as the ship raced towards the freighters. The ship creaked as they drew in quick and Harris stood.

"Take us to the side docking port, we'll board there."

"Yes sir."

Harris quickly grabbed his blaster pistol and marched out of the bridge area and towards the docking port.

Deadeye

Ressurected by a cult
The door to the second ship shot open and from it came an array of blaster bolts all towards team 2. Deadeye quickly rolled behind cover and began firing from his position. Quickly, a crew member of the ship began to advance on the right and Deadeye shot him down before progressing to a new position of his own.

"Move up people, let's move up!"

Deadeye ran to the cover and fired a bolt right between the eyes of an alien aiming into his rifle

WD-334 stood at the ready near the docking port, taking point as the war droid waited for the dock to open up. "This unit is prepared for boarding" the droid said as Harris came to the docking port of their ship. Soon these freighters would be theirs. It's small force was prepared with the droid, prepared to charge in and take this. To take the ship, and WD-334 would make sure that Harris succeeded, for he was owed a debt for his service to the Metal Lords.

Harris approached the docking port and regrouped with the rest of the boarding party. They stood for just a moment as [member="Sergeant Vickers"] and his squad arrived.

"Alright lady's and gentlemen, prepare to open fire."

As Harris spoke, a red light kicked on. He walked over to the door and put his hands on a lever. The ship creaked and shook as it slowed to match the pace of the freighter, slowly it touched the other ship. As the two docked a loud creaking and banging noise echoed though out the ship. After a moment, steam blew though the grates of the door and the light turned green. Harris pulled the lever and the door slowly opened, at the littlest sight of the other side, the crew of the other ship began firing bolts down range towards the Fel forces.

"Get to cover!"

Harris darted to the left, followed by some stormtroopers in white and red, the others raced to the right. Harris pulled his blaster from the holster on his chest and began firing towards the crew. He waited a moment, then turned to his stormtroopers.

"Cover me, I'm going out."

Harris holstered his blaster and grabbed a strange cylindrical object at his belt. It was long, polished, and clean, plated in steel save for a patch of wood on each side for the grip and golden engravings along the body. He stepped out of cover and pushed a button near it's top and a golden blade ignited. Harris deflected several bolts with the saber and started to advance slowly, his team, all except jair, were seeing this for the first time and were shocked. Harris turned to face an indentation in the wall where an enemy was crouching and he extended his hand, grabbing him with the force and throwing him. Another member of the enemy crew attempted to advance with his rifle. He jogged up towards Harris and quickly had his weapon cut in two before being struck down himself. Harris stopped at a pillar and hid behind cover.

"Advance!"

The others quickly charged to closer cover, Jair joined him behind the pillar.
