Sharpening the Blade [CIS]

A dull blade is a bigger danger to its user than it’s enemies.

It was hard to deny it, the Confederacy’s navy had been seeing far from enough deployment against its enemies. This fact was not to say that the naval commanders of the Confederacy were not getting proper training to make sure for for whenever they actually did depart CIS borders and reap the bloody tally for the Confederacy’s glory.

A wargame was simply the most productive way to begin training in some semblance of actual combat scenario and such a thing was exactly what had been given to the Fleet Marshals of the Confederacy: a chance to test their mettle against one another.

Of course (and undoubtedly to some Marshals, alas) they couldn’t quite start throwing actual warships at each-other in some far off and empty void just to leave a graveyard of wasted warships and trillions of discarded credits. No. The Confederacy Defense Force had given something far more suitable to it’s marshals for such training.

Simulators instead gave an open void for the “Warships” to duel. A small asteroid field leaving blotches of dangerous to travel space in the fictional world it had so quickly dreamed up for it’s users. A handful of Fleet Marshals separated into two teams, just about any Confederate vessel (within reason, of course) at their disposal to try and create the best fighting force they could make, and use it to the best of their abilities.
The blade would be very, very, much sharp when the time came.

Handful of Rules:
First post will go onto Red Team and second will go onto Blue, following this pattern till teams are decided.
Each member will have 15,000 meters of ships to work with.

Goal is to take down the enemy marshals’ flagships to disable their fleets, be it by capture or destruction.

Now have fun, don’t blow each other up too hard.

SHIP: The Victator (Simulated Version)

It had been a good long while since Kiff had been given the opportunity to command the full strength of the 186th Battle Line, a massive force of heavy-punching capital ships, in battle against a foe. Sure, the ships were technically simulated copies of their real-life counterparts and the enemies were opposing Confederacy Marshals and Fleet Marshals. But the Sky Marshal wanted the chance to prove himself, so here he was. It wouldn't be long before the name Kiff Brayde was known throughout high command, not just Kiff's subordinate officers.

He had to hand it to whoever had made these simulators, but they were incredibly good. The one that Kiff was situated in was, to say the least, quite extraordinary, definitely an upgrade from the ones that Brayde had become used to from his time at the Arkanis Academy. Now all he had to do was wait for the other Marshals to queue in, and then the fun would really begin.

"Prepare for battle" the Vice Marshall ordered. He could see the huge bulk that was the Vicator in the distance or more accurately the simulated version of the ship. The sound of a primative slug thrower being cocked sounded in his mind. "Commander, hail the Vicator" he yelled. He wanted to make sure olde [member="Kiff Brayde"] wasn't feeling too comfortable on the simulated dreadnought. His plan to defeat that behemoth was quite simple. Destroy everything around it.
