HISTORICAL INFORMATION
For most of the four-hundred year darkness, the Shanro-Kabul's isolationist nature served them well. They were entirely independent, able to survive and avoid the spread of the disease to their planet. Their entire world shut down overnight, staying in lockdown for years to come before new settlers and factions rose and fell. Soon the Shanro had no choice but to take part in the Galactic theatre, small part as it was. They began to spread, never settling elsewhere but becoming explorers and mercenaries throughout the Galaxy. Some of their most talented pilots became pod-racing legends or taught at academies. One was even graced with an antique of a Naboo starfighter.

The antique hung in the pilot's home on Shardoga for a hundred years, passed down through the family until it was bought for an exorbitant price by upper-class citizens of Commenor for a restaurant. The building was destroyed when the One Sith and Mandalorians invaded the planet.

When the Shanro homeworld of Shardoga was attacked, it was under the assumption that help was on the way due to a false transmission delivered by Draelvasier spies. The battle that took place was a massacre, talented Shanro pilots were surrounded by hundreds of unmanned living fighters. They stood no match, even with all their skill they only managed to see the safe evacuation of a handful of ships. Most of which were supplied by neighbouring planets who were also trying to escape to the inner rim.
