Dev Shadows of Atrisia

JUnko bbreaathed in and then out as she came to the stop.. the train was filled with people but they cleared for her when the royal escort was there with some of her handmaidens. A smile playing on her face as she checked over what they had. "THank you all, please come to the opening and enjoy." SHe said it while they were abble to go with her hands clasped behind her back as she walked offering smiles and bows. THe people were happy to see her and JUnko joined her handmaidens and guards.. they were moving as the streets were filled with carts and vendors for the opening.. a celebration like with many of the other places here.

"Everything is looking lively... here." A smile on her face where she could check over some of the things. JUnko could smell the food that was being offered as well they had been getting shops opened here.. building with storefronts from across Atrisia using the new transportation network to allow them to transfer goods and services... it was a lot better for a relay system and rapid transit without risk of pirates or raiders. There was also the continued boom to the economy that they were fostering with all of the credits exchanged for good and cost of living being reduced for the people.. which let them buy and stimulate the economy and increase the value of the work.

JUnko was looking at more of what they had here as well, they had been setting up a few more of the stalls and it was massive as she got a kabob of food with thanks. SHe gave them credits and Atrisians were parting for her with smiles... a more and more common sight as reforms were done for every class... there wasn't a problem and the nobles of Atrisia benefited from not having the threat of rebellion if they were decadent which was a benefit to many of them and the common people benefited from well high quality of life that few others in the galaxy could match. It helped with the ones who constantly were wanting them to go back to being in squalor and huts for the sake or perception to the galaxy as a fetish."

JUnko tried the food and it was just as delicious... the higher quality livestock they were raising and with abundance they had farms, cloning technologies that made just as high grade and best of all replication technologies for this... they could make food with raw energy... of which they had a near infinite supply. JUnko smiled in many ways though with all of the people here as the influence of years of other races who have come to Atrisia and were refugees yes but they were Atrisian now... the years were kind and in taking them in they managed to gain valuable members of the society... the dancing girls who were zeltron trained but Atrisian in the streets were beautiful.

She was looking at many of the other places here.. dancers celebrating, vendors selling dolls and figures. There were model kits from shows that the children watched and everything that had been getting made was beautiful. JUnko knew they rather liked a lot of the fun things... a count from one of the buildings that was for the Atrisian cultural crates.... sold to the galaxy at large with figures, foods, drinks and different clothing. THey had made it and for them it was cheaply made in a solid box but for the galaxy at large it sold high... a few hundred credits a month per person and across the galaxy they were having trillions of subscribers.

The low price point and large numbers put the company and by extension Atrisias economy boomed as this was a monthly influx of credits and it was getting more subscribers. Some worlds like Coruscant and Denon alone were filled with billions and trillions of people high population density and could amount for a large chunk of their several trillion. Many other worlds brought attention and JUnko knew it flourished from here as they were constantly making for the first of the month a new box ready to ship out. JUnko was looking at more as the influx showed and was documented along with some other things they sold offworld.

THen she was there... at least for now.. the grand library to rival the oldest on Atrisia was massive in size and built like the senate building on Coruscant.. with banks of computers and servers with information not just from Atrisia but across the galaxy... then there was the largest collection of physical media that they could find book wise as well as historical artifacts. JUnko was looking aat the platform they had set up and she nodded her approval.. the emperor was there. standing tall and regal in simple ebony robes kimono... his hair slicked back with a ponytail and the open chest design few understood but he showed he wasn't armed trusting his people.

He had scars on his person... long lines from blade strikes and blaster shots but he was tough... most considered the jedi strong and able to endure but he did it through sheer force of will in terms of a fight and he might have lost a step and be hurting in some places but he never let others see it. HIs dark eyes turning to look at her as he spoke turning to see her without anyone announcing her thaat she could see... didn't mean his guards weren't around. The Yovshin of the Emperor of FLowers were not for lack of a better term flowery in their duties... they were highly trained to fight and he had trained them all in the ways of war.

"Princess Junko." His voice boomed even in the small space around them and draw attention as Junko instinctively found herself straightening up a little more. The Emperor was smart and serious but he was also one of the most kind... rarely taking credit for his projects to aid in the recovery of people. The fields of flowers across Atrisia was one of the few things he was known for but he was also one to go out and help with construction efforts on the world... help in the fields with farmers. He wasn't one to balk at labor and while he might do it undercover there was always a chance for many to meet him and never know it.

SHe eased up though as he moved forward and embraced her... he was one for great warmth and much like with Shoma he didn't need to show a lot of affection but he usually gave them a hug upon meeting them. He backed up a little and gave her a nod as JUnko smiled looking up at him. THe scent of vanilla and leather was always there with him as he spoke more. "It is good of you to come, I am glad to see that my messenger found you as I had been informed you were not heard from in the mountains for some time." He said it and looked at her but was leaving it open for them to walk around the stage.

JUnko was looking at more things the emperor had for them... he had spared nothing in wanting to celebrate she could see... wanting to check out a couple of things like the food stalls there were also performers... dancers, musicians and tricksters who were tumbling in the streets. Some were spitting fire and still others were making a show of magics and illusions to dazzle all of those there.. some of the children getting excited... as JUnko could hear minstrels in the distance playing different Atrisian ballads and that is what they were... tales of ancient heroes... ancient battles or laments in some cases from horrible things.

JUnko was also getting to see more of the entrance to the library itself.... the carved wooden doors were bone white and looked like steel but they were beautiful... the ebony handles and droids there to open them while librarians were set up and able to mill about. Organizing and dedicating themselves to the service here. SHe knew they were working on some other parts as well.. the entire building was made after all and there were four main entrances at the cardinal directions... massive and similar with just as much care. The central area for checking out and monitoring everything for the best experience in the Atrisian archives with knowledge from across the galaxy.

Junko was looking at more of the entrance itself.. they had different droids set up... drones that could help, connections for the makie companion droids and there were protocol droids which were able to serve as defensive droids if need be... all of them manufactured here on the Anshin from Sasori but the Commonwealth had great relations with her family and wasn't going to lose out on several chance that were this big. They had plenty of people here working and the workers themselves were doing the finishing touches... areas of the library being opened and programmed, artifacts being put on display around them.

Junko was looking up at the massive space above them... gravity chutes were designed for artifacts as well as repulsor rings so they couldn't fall but there were Atrisian fighters... there were x-wings and a carefully recreated battle that was being done by a droid. The holographic weapons were working and as authentic as it could be... the showing was one of the big things and essentially made to take up space... they could change the scenarios weekly while shifting the ships easily enough from a hanger that was below... the hardlight creations of the massive carriers and destroyers well those were around but they were just glad to have a good time.

There were other parts that she could see.. the upper levels of the library were lined with more physical books as well and banks of servers... their archives was one of the most complete rivaling the archives of the jedi thanks to tireless research that they could get. She walked in next to the Emperor who was getting some looks and bows... now that it was revealed who he was.... the yovshin pushing aside their cloaks to show their armor. HIs enjoyment of being a normal person among the others and learning or hearing their opinions was an important aspect of what was happening. He listened to the people though trying to improve where he could their lives.

"It is all coming together nicely... more so with your hard work." He said it and Junko felt a warmth in her chest at that... she liked being told she did good. "THank you emperor." SHe said it and looked at many of the people who were stopping to bow as he spoke more standing at the central area. "And how is the head librarian fending as the day approaches?" His voice came out and the woman turned to look at them as she spoke. "I would be better and able to go faster without everyone stopping to...." SHe trailed off when she turned and looked aat him. "Emperor it is you I am so sorry." He laughed for the moment and spoke. "It is alright I arrived unannounced."

That seemed to calm down the librarian a little but she was still flustered and Junko had been on the receiving end of the emperors excursions... as had many... he liked going out which meant he liked surprising others. She bowed though and composed herself after a moment. "?Thank you emperor, we will be ready tomorrow for you and the princess." SHe looked towards Junko and bowed. "We have just been finishing up many of the displays and trying to have it all be presentable. The servers are also getting their final checks along with many of the preservation equipment that has been set up... to keep all of the physical tomes set up."

The Emperor nodded his understanding and Junko understood... they werrre just polishing things up for now at least and when the emperor motioned for the librarian JUnko followed with them. She walked and showed off parts of the library to all of them... was rather proud with many of the things they had managed to get and where they were displaying She was proud of some of the displays they had done with hardlight to show scenes from Ancient Atrisian history thanks to the Chi-Oni... who had some here and one lounged... the noble wasn't opposed to talking with others but was just as arrogant as Junko remembered them being... they were still impressive in stature and power.

THe idea of the Chi-Oni aiding in this endeavor though as they seemed content to have their kingdom under the world with their slaves and riches... it was a strange place but... she would be all for it if they became more integrated into Atrisian society. "THank you for coming up here. I know the trek can be long." Junko said it with a bow as the noble remained there for a moment and stood... taller then them slightly and he was imposing... the nobles of the Chi-Oni spent all of their time fighting and preparing for war... She knew they relied upon their slave classes of which there were two and they were not cruel.... it served a purpose.

"It was no problem, the empress wished for us to make sure things were done correctly." He said it with that lick of pride on his voice as he stood there. THe kimono was more of a robe and it flowed.. richly colored with jewels and gemstones adorning every inch of it but it didn't look heavy orr uncomfortable... his twin swords were there as well and they were equally adorned with gemstones but served as she knew some of the deadliest blades.... the Chi-Oni cared for war and they didn't mind teaching that lesson to people who stepped at them in a fight. Junko stretched herself and her mind though looking around them.

SHe could sense people from all over Atrisia... different towns and villages even cities... colonies and the Anshin who were working on many more things but all were here. JUnko was checking out many other things now as artifacts were set up in displays and from Atrisia's past as well as smaller holograms.. the transportation network was on display showing the engineering feats of Atrisia that allowed many others to come here from across the planet using it. A smile came to her lips as they set up many more things from it. THey had some ships on display in the hologrrams that were older ships.. emperors, empress with interactive palaces of them and history lessons.

THe Emperor seemed to be enjoying many more things as there were people around bowing and fawning over him... he didn't care about that and greeted each of them in turn. Offering hands, credits, or even some food. He learned their names, he listened to any complaints they might have and was more then willing to give them some help should they need it. THe yovshin were standing at the ready but were not keeping the crowd back just enough to observe and search for threats or weapons... not that the emperor was worried the man fought and was always willing to let an opponent get the first strike because then it was usually over.

Still Junko tried to mitigate much l;ike the Yovshin the risk and she was scanning the people with the force as they all came... none held hostile intent towards the emperor which was good and helpful... they didn't want to have to risk such things when he did things like this that kept him from coming out to meet them. The smile on her face though was warm as she recalled him doing this for other things... each of the Sansin that was adopted by the empress... each child she brought home who had lost family he treated well like they were his own... the tales of his skill in a fight and to many how he had betrayed his friend overshadowed and painted him but he strives each day to be better then the stories.

Though mentally Junko didn't fully believe the tales... because it was sensationalized in more ways... he and the empress loved each other and there was another tale.. one that the empress told and others... one where Genji acknowledged and sent them away to save face but also because he was hurt... but that he was there in the end selflessly saving his friend... protecting their child from the forces of mythos... JUnko believed that though he was made to be the ultimately tragic and heroic character of the tale and whhy the emperor of golden flowers had his name as he had created a field to show his grief over his brother his friend.

THe emperor now though was giving the people a lot to look at and even more as he was inviting them back tomorrow for the opening and dedication.. they would have a chance to really dive into everything here and around them with a smile on his face. THey agreed and he continued to escort Junko around the city towards what was essentially the palace here... the Sansin coming to greet them as she stood tall aand regal. "Ah Korimitsu... you look as radiant as ever." He said it and embraced her for a moment to some smiles from the woman... she was after all one of his adopted daughters.. the empress bringing her beauty to all of them.

"THank you emperor." The woman said it and looked towards Junko with a smile on her face. "It is always nice to see you as well princess Junko." She smiled offering a larger grin and the two of them embraced as Junko laughed. "It has been far to long sister." There was a smile and some laughs but JUnko looked at the Ruby palace... named for the color as it had been cut from a massive red crystals they found and crafted for its beauty. THe three of them were walking through it and Junko could see more of the palace around them. The transport network connecting all of the palaces to each other and too the emperors palces... the public and the private one that was being made in secret was important.

She led them into the palace and had decorated it well... JUnko wouldn't say it to her face but the woman had garrish taste... she was smart yes but when it came to art of decorations she went for things that were eyesores... JUnko though smiled looking at the seats offered and it looked like a torture device. The back was high and stiffer then most chairs it seemed with little cushion... but JUnko sat down as it was narrow and hugged her but she stayed to look at everything offered. The table had some food which she was able to eat and the emperor sat down enduring the chair for himself as well. Korimitsu was smiling and sat down as she let the handmaidens set out the food for them.

"A lovely spread Korimitsu.... your chef should be commended." A smile appeared on her face and JUnko knew the emperor was about freedom in a way but Korrrimitsu of all the sansin mostly was kind and just but also lazy using her position to have handmaidens do the day to day things that most of them did normally. She was letting handmaidens do everything and enjoying her position without well.. without becoming vain or vapid... or a tyrant that would be overthrown.. but that would likely be because of the works JUnko and the emperor did as well as the empress and the other lesser sansin who ensured the people were happy, healthy and fed.

Junko was allowing herself to see a little more around them and she took in what had been done here within the palace... interest in all of it and the other Sansin as she rarely stayed in her palace for too long.. though returning using the new network would be a lot easier as it were. She was glad that the network itself was being worked on and improved daily.. new tests of course and if they could not perfect it but secure its design for worlds and hubs in stations they could create the series throughout the Atrisian system... and later the commonwealth itself.. they would just have to really work on it for the future. Junko had more ideas of things they could bring to the forefront of Atrisian technology.

"So tell me Junko, with your travels around the planet... have you found much else for us?" The Emperor spoke as he drank some of the tea and had a grin on his face looking forward to the answer. "Yes emperor.... we have been exploring caves and several of the recent areas we have managed to open up... most have histories that we hadn't imagined and could have hoped to understand but... the enjoyment we have been able to have from it and from. Our recent discover of the Amber empresses palace... we found a map with some other locations...we are not sure what we might find but if it leads to new discoveries... or locations we can build new things forr the planet itself."

That seemed to impress the emperor enough... history was more for the empress who loved to study and cared aa lot about the schooling of their youth... he cared about their well being more but history and how better to avoid the dangers of repeating the bad things was an important thing... "That is good to hear, I know my empress has been wanting to complete the overhaul of education reforms to ensure the clans have a say but that there is nothing not being taught to the children. exceptionalism and knowledge compared to some." He also like Junko liked the idea of exceptional improvement through kinowledge since strengthening everyone would raise them up and with some of the refuges like zeltrons, chiss and even twi'leks that had come here they had a massive press and advantage that would see them get bright minds.

Junko held onto a few things though as some of the education reforms were harder to accept... government schooling could be seen as dangerous but they were not... manipulative... homeschooling was allowed but they wanted the education and teaching of galactic studies aand robust amounts of physical and technical knowledge to be an impressive feat for all Atrisians compared to many of the others. JUnko knew they were working on others things as well when it came to the galactic stage such as a myraid of background deals that would strengthen the Atrisian currency... they were making it so Atrisian products were some of the biggest and most valuable using invisible market deals and establishing with the banking clans and other worlds which handled currency exchange rates.

"I have good news though ladies... we have been thanks to the new Ohashi AI been able to reach terms with the banking clans and set exchange rates... as of now the Atrisian standard for credits is much higher then most... which benefits us at least. Since we have several production facilities for aurodium and other materials that are highly sought after." He said it and Junko knew they had been working on it to improve well exchanges but also get and keep what they were doing with many of the supplies being produced by the planet itself. With food, materials, clothing all being set at high credit levels. THey had even more going out as thei ship technologies were vastly improved thanks to Allana and different engineers from across the galaxy.

"We have also been getting word from the Consortium.. or stirrings at least. Seems they are looking to bring a new royal family but thankfully ignoring much of the dealings we had with the previous one... the exchange program and trade deals have remain intact. We still supply a model of their battle dragons." He said it and that had proven one fo the most beneficial thanks to Allana and Junko had known the queen mother from the jedi... now she didn't know who was important as it changed every couple of months but the Daughters of Hibana like their force order that had been set up were likely to be forgotten... so it was beneficial to her and Gallinore plus the other worlds that had joined them.

Junko was thinking bout it aand well she should visit the Hibana... the Hapen women were impressive and maybe a little homesick.... after the dedication she should make it a point to go and visit their allies who had chosen to stay here with them rather then go home. She knew the Consortium was largely different in many things that they did but it presented them with more. She knew some fo the worlds and better some of the programs that they were making could be highly beneficial. "I shall have to make it a point to go and visit the Hibana after the dedication.. it has been too long and they have likely been wondering about what has been happening."

Or they wouldn't care... Hapen could be wonderfully..... bored about the affairs of others around them and not getting involved. Junko knew that some of them might care about the Consortium but if it wasn't burning then they would do their duty and some had no where else to go aside from here having been children of political rivals who might have lost status. Thgey were also some of the few who got a chance to handle their pirate situation... the danger of having them in the system even though they were minor could pose a threat and the Hapens had a history handling such problems... so she knew they got to make the anti-pirate measures.

The Emperor gave her a nod of his head to that... he didn't order her to places but she was the one who often traveled and understood many of the dynamics between them. The female centric consortium was well beneficial as Allana had said since Atrisian's respected traditions much more then others... and while they were more equal between men and women but both groups had a common factor.. they were often being told what they needed or their status in the galaxy by others.... be it Atrisia being a backwards world that needed basic tech to not be primitive or the Hapens being invaded by pirates and unable to defend themselves.

"Very good, I look forward to heaaring about it when you arre at the palace next time." He said it and then did look at her with some concern. "THough while she is capable... the emprress need not be taken into conflict... I know the riot at the academy by Mythoss last remnants was not your fault but I am the fighter... she is strong but not as trained as the rest of us." He said it and JUnko knew the empress wasn't a fighter.. she was a dancer... which did let her dodge and last in a conflict but she couldn't swing a blade or fire a blaster beyond the basics she had been taught for self defense. JUnko was happy to defend her and she knew her Yovshin were some of the strongest in the Commonwealth.

"I didn't exactly plan for her to be in the conflict emperor... it just happened they decided to riot and be really really dumb at that time. It is like Quan-Lo's regressive mindset... they want equity and advancement but shun all technological endeavors to improve them." She shrugged though as most reports from the academy had them being well handled.. those who were involved because of fear were free to do and live their lives.. the instigators were taken and allowed to either leave the planet to find their own way or they were allowed to go to Quan-lo which was more their mindset... mostly at least since the changes for the world slowly worked to make them less relevant.

The emperor though looked at her and gave a nod. "Yes but you have a habit of being around when such things occur... almost like you are a magnet for conflict." He said it with humor though and Junko had to agree with him. "Perhaps.... but I try really really hard not to... just have to you know... protect oneself." She said it but was giving herself a chance to explain maybe.... in truth she expected conflict but that was getting much harder to find on AAtrisiaa nowadays thanks to many of the programs they were doing... with everything to elevate the poor into well a working class who provided and had everything they needed... it was beneficial. Even medical endeavors were easier with the living modules and autodocs for their homes.
