"The safety measures will be some of the most important.. we want repeat customers who will do this as a hobby and spend lots of credits as well as provide invaluable experience and data... having the chance that they would perish and importing creatures from around the galaxy so that they are not hardlight or fake is important.. the far-casting technologies could be used with an AI to transport critically injured creatures and exploers out fast enough and we would be able to do a lot with it for rewards." Junko said it and Miyoung agreed while Kanna was thinking about it. "We should also have some chambers designed around ships and vehicles."

Junko gave her a look. "What... it would be a lot more interesting to see ship to ship combat sure but also a means to have environments like space only breathable or underwater with some strong hydrostatic shielding to move around. Lava, toxic if done right to really test and improve designs." Barca looked at the chiss and gave a nod of her head. "She isn't wrong.. it could be something worth looking into and with some of the newer ship designs or vehicles we would be abel to do some... a convoy of transports with an objective to escort or capture it could be a great way to observe and see the tacvtics that some go with."

Junko was thinking about that and she gave a nod of her head... they could have a dozen or more scenarios... hundreds even and see the different methods and thinking of different soldiers, adventuring groups, explorers even pilots and various types from fast and agile to big and bulky... The diversity of tactics would be invaluable to them in a number of ways... she could improve it more as there were a dozen different jedi groups and even more who used the force. They would be able to use much more information as there was a difference between elemental slayers, matukai and disciples of twilight.. they would be able to see what they could do.

Barca and Miyoung were looking at it... "Plus the credits that could be gained from showing it, from streaming it within the breakwater would be one thing... exporting it like many of the shows we have been making as the entertainment districts return to Atrisia. The export costs for us are minimal.. the people and groups paying to get it on their worlds are paying a premium... we have a whole new avenue of revenue for what it is that we have been wanting to do." Junko looked at her.. they would be able to do a lot more projects... mostly... Atrisia was never lacking for revenue sources and income so it was a little different but they would be able to do a lot more as well.

Miyoung laughed at that.. the mention of revenue sources was usually laughable as between their own banking... the mint they controlled and many of the extra-galactic colonies... they were able to do a whole lot in regards to credits... more they had darakar and the banking clans were always changing heads which lowered confidence in their capabilities... which helped them. Heavier exports across the galaxy now that the breakwater was there allowing them to isolate and keep themselves safe from dangers... it did limit casual comings and goings but it also had reduced offworlder crime problems that they were facing.

Junko paused for a moment as she spoke. The feelings coming were interesting when she moved up to look over the side of the airship and take in all of the beauty of the world. In the distance she could see it... after several hours of leisurely travel they had managed to make it to the site where Ahri was excavating aa tomb... another tomb sure but there were worse things that they would be able to see... she was impressed with a few more things here though... it amused her until she was moving with much of her attention on Kanna, Miyoung and Barca who had presented the more interesting prospects.

The desert sands slowly stretched outwards and the environments of Atrisia changed slowly but eventually they could become desolate... mostly... even their deserts were modernized. There were storage areas designed and spaced out that could be used by those traveling... shielding that could protect in some places against predators and sandstorms. They had designed it much like the islands and even the open sea with smaller supply islands that were there. The desert itself was just as pristine and clean in many cases.. they were protecting it but they had also installed shielding towers at the edges that would keep the storms and sand within.

She knew there were similar shields around wells and oasis to protect the waters for travelers as ones on Longma went in a small caravan below. Junko's eyes squinting a little to make out the different areas... she could see the research ship itself there as it was landed in the gravity cradle that had been developed to be deployable. The sleek design of it suspended in the powerful cats cradle at the moment which meant there was more then she had thought and they had really been scouting all of it. JKunko's attentions went towards the area below as the first signs were around with droids working to excavate sections of the desert.

The airship was coming in for them to be able to see... the interest in what they were doing here though.. she could see the biots were harder at work with smaller droids and drones ensuring the sand didn't junk up the gears or problems. There was more... misters to cool the air around the camp.. the tents which were simple enough looking but she knew used their dimensional engineering technologies to allow themselves the ability to properly house everyone that was here. She could see several of Ahri's researchers and assistants were milling around as they oversaw the different sections that were being excavated.

THe airship finally docked and Junko was able to depart in the desert attire... the white kimono thinner and able to breathe in the breeze.. the heat was manageable for all of them as she walked with a smile on her face. Seeing the researchers who were there and offering them a lot more information.. Ahri was in one of the tombs that connected to a larger palace... they had discovered in by accident... but it was large enough they could have several teams in there stationed as well as roaming around and exploring parts of it. Barca had her equipment but she was more scanning the areas around them in the dunes then the camp itself.

Junko smiled though when she felt the desert sands on her feet.. the grains were good for exfoliating the skin and getting the dead cells off after all which was to her benefit before she was heading towards the main tent. Ahri was there and she could see the woman standing on one of the fallen section of walls so she could oversee a dozen or so workers. The winds making the hair whip around her head as her hat was on. The shirt she was wearing bright and open for the wind to catch and cool her down. Junko was walking with the others as they had changed as needed... Barca in her heavy armored robes and Miyoung in a thin breathable robe that looked like nightwear but was protective.

Kanna was there an checking on vehicles and droids that were being sent into the site to explore.. the improvements that they were working on more things.. Junko was able to see Ahri turn to look at them and wave for a moment as she remained there... her makie coming over and giving them information as the various makies were moving around.. their attention on scanning as well as mapping the site. Junko could see more as their overlays were updated with the information as well as the maps from scans and reports that were coming in from the first drones. "Everything is looking amazing Ahri... what have we found so far?"

The woman turned to look at her and offered a wider grin on her face. Ahri was always a looker... always beautiful but with the right outfit and look... being in the desert heat with form fitted attire and her hat. The equipment belt on her hip and a defensive weapon.... she was hot and she used a whip that she had learned about... it benefitted her greatly before she was leaping off of the stone itself and coming over to her with a broader smile on her face but she spoke. Junko smiled joining her as they would be able to speak when she got a little closer with Miyoung and Kanna. Barca was looking at the defensive measures.

"We found a third chamber... the complex below is much much larger then our initial thoughts and seems to go down further through descension shafts... they look more like they had constructed a massive city under the palace here... which could lead to a lot more connections with the Chi-Oni or a number of other places we have found. We know some of the older clans faced threats from the extinction events." She said it and there was more.. there wa always more when it came ot the ancient atrisians as they had survived if the records went well enough... billions of years and were among some of the most ancient and afvanced for a time before the first really dark age.

Junko moved though as she listened to it.. the dig, the chambers, the traps.. there were some interesting traps... all while moving closer to Ahri and she looked at the woman while standing in the sand with a smile on her face. "Despite it all... no matter how much you complain... I know you love this. The field was always your favorite place to be." She said it and one of the serving girls brought up drinks to make sure they maintained themselves even out here in the heat and danger. Miyoung was interested as the screens of her display was showing more what they had found.... trailing off with several of Ahri's researchers to observe.

Junko was walking and embraced the woman offering a small linger but they went off towards one of the larger area of stone in the saands. There were a few things set up for the solid surface. Ahri taking the moment when she got there to fan herself for a moment but she nodded. "What we find here... will be nice in most cases even if it is only just some scrolls." Ahri said it but she had other things.. they had clay tablets and jars... it wasn't much but it was always invaluable sometimes... their historical shows would be able to use it and having them as a asort of back up piece or something to at least show people were here.

Ahri seemed excited though her interest in it all when she went towards a table and picked up a few necklaces. "It is not much either but we were able to date the jewelry as seventh century." She held the jade stones in the gold metal. Junko could see more of it as she held it in her palm. THe piece was by most standard simple... nothing overtly intricate or flashy... which was a good piece and for those who would wear it was likely given as a piece with affection or love. Junko returning it to the table with a nod of her head. "It looks good still which shows the craftsmenship of the time.. we should be able to find more pieces to confirm."

Ahri seemed to agree with Junko and was presenting her with some other smaller trinkets that they had managed to find. "There isn't much but the deeper we go in the older it seems to be which means this could predate a few of the other temples and palaces... might even be one of the original surface clans that had managed to survive if we are lucky." She said it with a grin and they would be aable to use that for a lot of the work that they were putting into figuring out some of the early history... and what might have attacked them or influenced the massive loss of capabilities for millions of years.

Junko liked the idea.. if the lowest chambers we4re from the original clans then there was a lot more there... they knew that they still had their older technologies which had allowed forming an empire that laster for several million years but was not strong enough. Ahri had a look of amusement on her face while she was getting the chance for herself... she would be able to get a lot more if they were trying for it... Miyoung spoke as she was looking at the pair and had more amusement on her face then anything. "We might find the first civilization but it is more likely given the region we will find some of the first settlers."

Ahri looked at her and raised an eyebrow... the first settlers and first civilization were different in some ways... they knew the first clans had laster since the most ancient houses that had remained.. with different regions for sure but The Chi-Oni presented some ideas and histories that they were able to use to organize many of the oldest clans into their houses and see where their ancestors and cousins however distant were located. They had been able to do a whole lot she admitted and families had grown that were once ancient... others had formed and Junko had seen revelations in other cases as bloodlines were able to be followed.

Miyoung was looking at some of the display as she transcribed it to a holodisplay so they would be able to see how far they needed to go down. Barca came over and was looking at it as she spoke pointing with a finger. "Those look like they would be perfect for traps and defenses. These first civilizations and clans were able to use more advanced technologies right." She didn't wait for confirmation.. it was known enough and there was a small look of interest as she thought about it. "If they could and if they were using this as a main place... it seems it was important enough for later ones to build over and off of it.

Junko was looking at the holo as Barca was pointing it out and there was a risk... there always was of something like that in these which she expected... didn't mean that they shouldn't try and work around it or prevent it from being a threat and danger... plus the first ones in were always the ones at risk. The others after were the ones who had the better chance to explore if there were a lot of traps. "We'll need to be careful in any case... if there are traps they will be old but they are usually lower tech then most expect and able to function even after all of this time. We'll figure a few things out when we finally manage to get down there."

There were nods of agreement to that... they could speculate all day... even use the drones but they wouldn't set off some of the pressure traps since they were flying. Mapping and seeking things out would be the most important aspect of what they were doing the same as lighting... they couldn't be fumbling around down there in the dak which was how much of the danger would be and coming at them. Junko looked at Barca and at Ahri as she spoke... "Well then if we have everything that we need, we should have our own little adventuring party prepared and ready to go." That got a couple nods of agreement and interest as Ahri grabbed her shoulder bag.

"THen we should head off, we have food, water, safety equipment and emergency shelters and beacons.. plus the drones which will be able to breakdown and clear a lot if it is required." SHe said it as Junko gave a nod and the five of them were preparing while Kanna was setting her drone up to remain on the surface as a relay in case something happened and it would be able to warn them... Ahri's drone was there and attached to her shoulder strap while Barca with her armor was in the middle being able to call down her wardroid as it patrolled in front of the tomb entrance and camp to coordinate with the drones.

Junko motioned with a hand though and Barca moved to the front of them as guard with Ahri close to be a guide and back up. Junko and Miyoung taking up the rear and behind them as they would be able to check on more things. Miyoung was taking it all in and she seemed to be forming some opinions in the early chambers and hallway. Ari easily leading them as the initial dig site was showing the droids and people that were at work clearing and organizing. Sections of the floor marked as descending brought them through the collapsed floor into a secondary and larger chamber that was lined with golden silks that were preserved.

Junko was looking at more of it.. her attention and her interest taking in parts of it as the steps they were on came to the bottom of the chamber and she could see the curves of the ceiling.. the roundness of it went towards the middle with the mirrors as Ahri nodded. "The lighting as we have seen in some of the older temples and palaces is the same.. the crystal mirrors are preserved." She said it and Junko looked as she was focusing on the shadows that went down corridors... the lights would help but it would also alert they were there... if the sounds of them moving wasn't enough to do it already.

Junko looked at Miyoung and gave a nod of her head as she had some interest... she had some ideas of what they could do while reaching out mentally with the force. She could sense more of the area then they could even with sensors and the drones... the subtle areas of the force were giving her more as the corridor came through into a passage heading down. The chamber it opened into filled with caskets that were within the wall and she could see more of it... each one looking simple and marked more then the normally ornate designs that had been developed before for emperors and empresses or others of importance.

Ahri was using a smaller glow rod to check script and writing all around them. The drones had set markers with small reflective mirrors that could be seen where to go. They were still scanning and going around while she stopped looking at the pit of a chamber before she was going over the information for herself. "This is looking interesting." She said it while looking down but then she was looking up and pointing it out to Barca who released a drone to go up and laser lines were being used to measure the pit as it went down with a range finder to give them all of the information. A drones being secured with heavy gravity clamps so that it could hold lines to descend.

Ahri looked at it as Junko came over and spoke. "The rangefinder isn't finding a bottom but that just means it isn't at the bottom yet." She said it and Junko gave a nod of her head when she was attaching the line to her belt same as the others. Each of them checking each other to be secured before they were descending quickly enough. Feet tapping while they dropped down and kicked off of the stone. Ahri was looking as she observed the walls they were passing. "There is not much script... assuming this was made for ascension and descension or air... it should show some signs of use... if it was meant for runoff or water from the rains it could be something beneficial."

"Does it really rain that much out here?" Barca said it while she was moving down and had her forearm shield shimmering in case of danger at the bottom of the group. Miyoung had a similar one from above in case it was needed and Ahri spoke. "Once upon a time maybe.. we know the climate changed with some shifts and this used to be more forest and tropical before an attack. Based on what we have seen in the great library that caused several problems as it went from desert to one of the coldest regions on the planet... so the temperatures and climate have shifted drastically in some cases."

Junko nodded the confirmation to that... the poles and climate shifted from time to time but something had happened to drastically change it in some places. She knew there were other areas like Ukiyo where the climate might not have shifted but the jungles there were filled with some of the more dangerous predators and sicknesses of the planet... things that you didn't want to let be loose in civilizaed areas of the planet... which was why it was one of the most undefended areas. Enemy forces now would go there to make a staging ground and aside from the locals who would attack and eat them... there was the predators and parasites that would weaken them.

THey continued to descend down.. down down into the hole as finally they found it. The line stilling giving them plenty when they finally touched the ground. A second drone being used to anchor it in place with another gravity clamp and it would be able to rapidly ascend them to safety should something happen. Junko looked up and around as the chamber they came into was massive with a high vaulted ceiling... the stonework much them same but thankfully it didn't look overly used. "Looks more like a chamber for storage... like water." She said it as the sparseness of it would allow for debris not to get into the water.

Junko's eyes were adjusting for a moment but she was able to walk through it and there was a surprising lack of dust or dropings... this would be a perfect place in the desert for some of the creatures which usually meant it was sealed from everywhere. Ahri taking the way as their hologram showing the scans revealed in was a massive chamber still. Ahri motioning with a hand as they came finally to an end of it and she looked up at a gate with a lip. The ascension cable coming out as they started to climb and Barca looked at the gate. Testing it and Miyoung looked over the bottom area. "It is for connecting to a collection area. There are grooves for measuring."

Junko gave a nod of her head as Miyoung moved up and motioned for Barca. The mandalorian understanding and she started lifting the heavy gate with creaking... the hinges rusted and much harder to lift while she strained only in surprise for some of it. Junko could see it as Miyoung dropped down and pressed herself to the ground for a moment before rolling under. The light appearing under it while she was using a torch on the gate and the hinges to make it drop as Barca went from lifting it to holding it in place until she got the all clear and then releasedx it as it dropped down onto the stone with a nod of her head.

The sound was echoing throughout the chamber and they listened... if anything was there... if anything didn't know they were there... it would now which meant they would at least not be surprised. The drones and their force senses gave a lot of capabilities for detection. Junko stepped on the heavy wood and could see how it had stone to seal it and keep the water in for the gate. Miyoung was looking around at some fo the construction and mechanisms as the pathway went into another chamber with its open design. "A second one for water but with a seal in place it would allow them to hold in here and then flush it to the other one."

Junko was looking at it and in this chamber it was different as there were water wheels and basins where the water would be able to be kept. She was debating it.. if the water came down and was stored in the larger tank.. then it likely went through the door until this one was filled and then close it. This would allow them to have plenty of water and if they used pumps then they could maintain it... a different prospect that could then be flushed if they needed it to be. Miyoung seemed to be thinking about it as she released another group of drones to go and check what they had here. Barca was setting up more lines for them with Ahri.

"We have a few scans coming in... the chamber leads to piping and more pumps... they would be able to move it throughout the palace itself. With some of these sections they might have been able to heat the water for comfort." Miyoung said it while she was looking at the scans and Junko spoke where she was checking it. "Perhaps, there might be a geothermal vent that the water was filtered through or near... the natural heating would have allowed them to warm it and pumping it through the walls could have made for heating in the winter months... a smart way to do things if they were working on early engineering."

Miyoung was looking at it with a nod of her head. "I could see that.. I know the old Imperial palace used the same method it is why a number of them were made near hot springs... pumping the hot water directly through the walls would allow the palaces to be warmed in the winter and in the summer months when it is hot the springs would be able to be used to cool off." Miyoung said it with a smile on her face while she was looking over other parts of it.. where she could check on a few things. Barca and Ahri had secured the lines and were climbing up towards a doorway as another drone released inside to map the areas.

Junko moved up the line once she and Ahri were ready as they went. Her mind reaching out with the force and she would be able to at least sense danger but there was none.. this place was a quiet as a tomb.. though it was clear the real palace if it had been here was further in and below... they were just near the mechanical places. The insides of it all and the princess moved with some purpose as they were making progress towards the larger chambers. The drones feeding them information as their mapping showed what was hopefully the end of the wetworks and the logistical areas. So far they had found storage and food areas... to preserve and prep.

"It is certainly impressive, if it is a palace then it was in a good place assuming it wasn't buried." Miyoung said it as Barca was looking. "No it was always buried at least these sections, that shaft to get down here was long enough even having the sand cleared away we would be underground. Might have been a fortress... protect their supplies by having them out of the way from the main location." She said it and Junko was thinking about it... it made a sort of sense and she could see what might be beneficial with it if they had it. A fortress this far out before it all became desert would heave been within the forests after all and able to protect the tradeways.
