Dev Shadows of Atrisia

The next couple of days were less about the why and who and more simply about making sure that noting like this happened again.. the ones who had taught the dangerous rhetoric was well. They were taking some of the teachers wo were left away and there was one or two shop owners.... looking over at some of the things they had created while the reconstruction droids were quickly getting to work. They were deceloping and cleaning up the debris... scrubbing the walls and the mark II biots were with them working quickly as the first steps of a military parade moved through the streets with the people being able to return to their homes and the empress was compensation them for damages.

That was one of the big things... the people were angry but they were getting hopefully the things needed to rebuild their lives and this was not going to happen again.. no the empress would make sure the Emperor was handling the situation personally if need be as he loved helping the people and she was more then happy to find a reason to organize something for them... The message that was brought to the jedi princess though was a surprise to her from Io who spoke recording a holomessage. "Ah princess is this thing on? Oh it is ah hi this is Io.... I don't know if you remember me but I was abel to make it here to the Imperial city of Neo Jar'kai and it is beautiful."

Junko almost let out a snort at the amazement of Io who was well... after having been on an island all of her life must have thought anthing was beautiful... granted Neo-Jar'kai was going to be something beautiful in many cases. What they had been working on and what they had been trying to figure out with the construction efforts with the defensive walls and living modules where they would be able to better improve everything in terms of the peoples lives. The walls around the villages and towns would also be an important aspect with chances for more expansion in the areas between it and around where they would preserve the ruins.

Io was also well... she was different... the jedi master didn't deny she liked being around the girl but it was a hard thign to really display as she had been by herself for so long and seemed to be transfering her attachment to Junko... it wouldn't be fair but they would have to try and do something as she was walking and got a chance to have a private moment. "It is good to hear that you are enjoying yourself and please don' hesitate to ask my handmaidens for anything. I know there is a lot but there is so much you can do or see." She offered a smile while walking and looked back. "But I do have to get back to my business with the empress. I will be back as soon as I can be."

That seemed to get a smile as Io nodded quickly and sat down in one of the lounges.. the pillows that were set up would well put most people to sleep as they were designed to be some of the most comfortable in the galaxy... engineered even while she yawned. "I shall look forward to ou coming back princess." The com ended and Junko was there waiting for a moment while she looked out on the massive ocean of Atrisia... the island where the main palace was built and designed.... the crystal gleaming as it was shaped... the bridges under construction as they had raised the island from the ocean and reinforced it to be supported with hijarna stone struts.

It was all beautiful and she felt the emporess come and stand behidn her for the moment as they were looking out when she spoke. "It is beautiful, you helped with a lot of this... all of that planning and all of that work you have done... Sasori and the clans have banded together to become beneficial not just to Atrisia but to the remnants of the Commonwealth itself. We are starting to rebuild from the ashes and even add more with our terraforming technologies that will help with much more in terms of expansion and creation. The Atrisian peoples themselves can expand outward in colonies yes but also without stretching far to thin.

Junko turned around and looked at the empress with a nod of her head. "Yeah and you have been great for supporting the efforts.. I know in many ways the people just want to be left alone but there is an entire galaxy and as we have seen.. they do not always want to leave us alone." She got a nod from the empress who stood there next to her for a moment and then was leaning and wrapping an arm around her. Where they would be able to better look at each other and then back at where they were standing with the city itself in the distance... much the same as it was carved from crustal and the academy districts... all four of them were beautiful in their own wa as the mountains of the western academy and the spire of the north gleamed.

There was the pale pink stone for the water gardens and the droids were moving to work with the headmasters on the construction efforts that would be in the academies. They were happy to let the designs carry over and would be better sited to work on all of it. The construction droids would be able to break down, convert ad rebuild quickly... they were using the Aizu craft and stations to well harvest materials and those could work even faster. There was more as well.. Junko was seeing some of the businesses that had been built up and the crystal tea house grew some of the most flavorful tea. The Kensai were around as the painted women observed and wrote down poems of the battle.

Junko was looking at them, the small group of white painted face women... in their silk robes with books that always seemed to be empty but it was known they wrote in their own secret language... it could be seen and she could see it as sh knew the white current or at least an application of it. They were not fallanassi trained but they had learned to tap into it to write and hide what they wrote... it also worked like a glamour to enhance their natural beauty. She could see a lot more as well... namely that they were just that all women.... the females of the village and it was considered a village were high up and secured in the mountains.

"They are a mystery aren't they." She said it and the empress turned to look at Junko. "They can be sometimes... we know a lot more about them now then we did once before though." She said it and they had a great deal of information after the attack when they were able to activate a planetary shield around their village. scas of it showed they had an old model station that functioned and they revealed that they maintained it for that exact purpose but it wasn't a secret they liked getting out... so the Royal family had mostly suppressed and concealed it. Everyone agreed that so long as they weren't building an army ot preparing to attack why not have a defensive shield.

Junko odded in agreement to that... there was no need for getting on them about an ancient station with a heavy defensive shield and they kept to themselves. She had seen many of the things that they were able to do and well they were beautiful.. they were chaste. they had a sense of honor that few others could really see or do things She well she needed to find the time to go into the mountain village and visit with them... they were masters of tea ceremonies, they were masters of the arts and music... and they were well rich... they were selling their services, their art to not the highest bidder but many saved allof their lives for a chance to spend an hour with one of them.

The empress was looking at her and she spoke. "You want to go on a trip.. well more of one... but without me don't you?" SHe said it and there was a look from unko as she looked at the empress who well she was called the Rice Wine empress because of her wanting everyone to celebrate life and be happy but she actually was pretty insightful compared to many who could just be dense... she was also sure of herself and headstrong so that they would be able to move around in the galaxy and o the planets even since she didn't worry to much about the dangers. She just cared that well there was a lot of people who needed help and had opened many chances for refugees to come here.

And she had seen well the paradise that ws Horai.. they had worked to ensure that offworlders who came for refuge got just that... that they were well taken care of but that they were not taking advantage of the systems or a strain on Atrisia and now it was easier with better supplies. The islands themselves were also nmerous and they could always settle more with the Sena clan who was there.. connecting them with a slimmed down road and railway for quicker movements between as well as what was being a cleaning mechanism for the waters... hydrostatic shielding that would keep predators away enough but not damage the ecosystem of the islands.

That was th finer point, they were seeking out some of the better methods to clean up the planet... to make it a lovely spot and with the anshin as well as a few things more. She knew they were working on massive ships that would be able to work as living cities... both for the air and for the water... the ability to sail around unimpeded would be beneficial and if they could get them to function properly on water worlds they could develop them as well as underwater cities to match the Mon Calamari or the gungans... truely they had some plans that few would be able to match or think of. She also knew some of their ventures in dimensional harvesting were underway.

She had to slow down and looked at the empress though her mind was racing... going places that were for plans compared to many of the others.. she was trying to push too far ahead and they needed to first get parts of Atrisia off of the ground... rebuild it and she knew there would be a whole lot more restless nights doing it. The jedi master stood there and she looked at the empress. "Since I am here... I will endeavor and travel with the Keisai to their village, meeting with their leader who might be able to explain a few things. Given my experiences with the fallanassi I can see what they write down within the force into their journals."

The empress looked at her and then gave a nod of her head to that. "Well then I will appoint you and blady blady blah pride of the nation... blady blady blah best person for the job." The empress said it and held a hand up to appoint it as Junko snickered to herself a little. They had a whole lot going on here and the empress had many more in terms of her guards as Junko bowed heading off to well meet with them. Kansai itself was being rebuilt from the ground up and she could see the massive crystals that were being brought from asteroids and had been harvested in space. Cleaned and mrefined so that they would be able to shape and fashion it into the city.

She was seen off, the chance for Io and her to meet up again was well slim but the two of them would find time... she could be away for weeks or months in most cases. The jedi master was going and she clasped her hands behind her back while she was walking off and going into the city itself. The crystal streets, the people who roamed around and offered smiles. There were children happy in the streets to run around and Junko took one of the fruits from a tree as she held it out for them. Offering it with a nod and she got some looks but a few recognized her and bowed out of respect. She could see one of the tea houses and who she was trying to find was there.

She enterted the tea house and had a look at the Keisai who were within... standing on the stage as they danced for the patrons and two of the little girls had joined them trying to look like them with a red line on their lips. The music as a third played a biwe with a look over at JUnko but her eyes andfacial expressions never changed. She allowed the force itself to flow as she scanned and searched the room to try and feel them out. Taking a seat when one was offered to her with a good display of the stage and of the paintings. The owner came out with the tea as well as some small bite sized foods for them from fish to meats and rice balls.

She was eating and the music continued... a rather soothing style that wasn't often used anymore as electronic and vocals had taken hold but there was something to be said about the biwe style and the chords that could be struck. The jedi master herself was looking at the Keisai who were talking with the patrons of the tea house... the owner who was looking to try and help them out and give them everything they might need. As opposed to them coming and demanding they simply arriving had brought in more business as many others just wanted to try anf meet the fabledwalking art canvases. Certainly their make up was beautiful and their refinement which made miyabi almost essential.

She was observing them more and more though as her knowledge of them and what they were came out... they were all female in terms of well their village which was much like the rest of Atrisia... modern high technology under the coating of traditional woods and paper windows... It was meant to invoke a sense of pride and was a key point to why the world continued to be considered by some primitive... in truth Atrisia was moving forward faster and away from the petty needs that were universal. Thanks to some of the best engineers they could get working together they had less scarcity of medical supplies and food.

There was also a few other things that they were trying to eliminate... overpopulation, housing and chances to really ruin their planet. The terraforming efforts that were going into places like the moons and the rest of the system planets. THen they would continue to move outwardss from Atrisia to the Commonwealth worlds that they were meeting with and rebuilding relationships... The different worlds who formed trade and defense means. If they could repeat much of the process then JUnko and the others would be able to plant the seeds for trees that would give shade to the later generations. That was what they needed to be able to do.

She was thinking about it and had distracted herself so she didn't notice the Geisha appearing here as the woman sat down across from her offering a tight lipped smile. She was beautiful... thick black lashes and dark eyes behind a white face with carefully made slashes of red and blue that accentuated her lips and cheekbones. The narrow face, her long hair that was oiled to shine but also smelled like flowers, rain and that fresh scent of vanilla. "Hello princess." She said it and sat there as Junko recognized her.. or at least there was only one person who could say her name in such a way. "Halmaoni." She offered a smal grin on her face seeing the older friend... she had just been an apprentice when she first met her.

"It is good to see you." Junko and Halnoani both said it at the same time with looks on their faces. The Keisai herself was well just as pretty as she always was but the enhancements from the make up and robes only added to it as she rose up and embraced the other woman. There were smiled... looks from some of the others and leers but most didn't seem to care to much except the ones close when they had heard the princess remark. They knew that the empress was close by and with her the princess so they were wanting to look respectful... there was a chance for them to gain favor after all and Junko didn't tell them she might never meet them again.

"Well this will certainly make it easier to approach the Keisai." That got a curious look that she could make out even below all of the make up with a small raised eyebrow. before the jedi master continued. "The Empress expressed interest in meeting with your village to see if there was anything we could offer to help improve it. After the fights we knew there had been a lot of questions about that shield your people activated to protect the village." She said it and let it hang there while her old friend spoke. "Well we can certainly let you come, the village doesn't allow males though so any guards will need to be females and we can work it out along the way."

Junko looked at the woman and gave a nod of her head as she understood. The restrictions and legends of the village were well earned she knew though... it had been shown in images and paintings... an ideal village secluded in the mountains wth the keisai taking up residence in each buildings. Their massive central tower was considered one of the most beautiful and exotic places as each room was said to be somethig different, transformative... exciting. She wanted to see it and knew there were many who spent a life time saving to simply get close or have an hour there with them. Their skills were something impressive.

"Agreed." She offered a smile and shook her hand... it was somehow delicate and felt almost dainty in her hand yet she was on the smaller side as one of the sansin princesses... maybe one of the primary but few could beat out Shoma as the heir and her being his direct sister. Junko offered a smile while she was heading out fo the tea house to both join them and retrieve her traveling bag which was loaded with a pocket dimensional setup so she could carry any number of equipment. The jedi master stretched out as she arrived there and joined them going into one of the small tents they had set up and changing from her kimono into a more hardy travel version.

She looked at the thicker kimono for a moment and it wasn't much heavier... just tri-layered material wise with the skyler between two sheets of vine silk so that she could get the comfort and smoothness.. that cooling factor without it clinging to the skin. Lined fur at the cuffs and neck that would conceal where it adhered to the skin just below her jaw covering her throat. Instead of wooden geta she would have boots with small cushions so she was walking on air almost and strong traction with little barbed teeth for grip. Her pack was over her shoulder and her saber was on her hip. She was as ready to go as she could be while her chevron pad was on her wrist.

She was looking at the Keisai who came back and they had a cart... well a repulsor cart.. they were traditional but they were not ancient in many ways adopting to the new technology and taking what was needed. The jedi princess seeing them sit in the different areas with some of the supplies they had traded for with the city. THey were more then happy to exchange artwork, poems and clothing for additional food they might not have been able to grow or raise... importing it through the city. She could also see their coffers and those who had given their trade and skills had brought in a lot... like really a lot as aurodium bars were there, credit chits and more with precious stones and silks.

Junko could see other things that they were given... children made artwork for them to show their beauty and while well childrens artwork they cherished each one as a gift. She knew that they took any number of trinkets back as they were loaded up and sat in the repulsor cart. The jedi master bowed thanking them for having her along as the Keisei merely smiled taking off but going sown a road so those who wanted to see them could say goodbye and they were laying music as the cart went down. Some brought food, drinks, others clothing they hadn't been able to give or offer up their children for training and to be taken. That was one of the only things Junko found strange....

The children who had been traded to them or sold... the Keisei didn't actually buy children they mostly just offered to take them and train them but on the condition that they wouldn't come back to their family as no one once part of it left the hidden world. The children weren't mistreated either, they had been given new clothing and plenty of food for the trip... even some educational aids were starting as they got outside of the city and the first of the newly constructed walls was coming into place. Hijarna stone being brought in to create the great alls with defensive measures built into them in towers and alcoves... Each one designed to well protect against an army.

The trip would be easy enough to explore and Junko spent sometime as they went through the mountain passes walking along side the carts or riding within them. They stopped from time to time with the heat to eat and in some cases the Keisai were painting or composing poems. Junko could see that they took their time with many things and they were starting the instructions wih many of the children to try and get them prepared. The children were going over the lessons, eating the food and most were learning the basics... how to act, how to speak and how to stand or focus. She cold see Halmeoni who was there with some of them explaining what they would be able to become if they showed promise.

Junko was sitting there on the edge of the lake they had stopped and saw more. One of the Kensai motioned for her to come over and positioned her with a pose in the light as she was sitting there a smile on her face. "Wonderful princess." She bowed with a look on her face as she started and they stayed there as Junko was joined b the few children who could sit still long enough to be added. The light was important but they had all day and when it was finished she got a look at the painting. She was in the twilight with the children aroun dher and a more serene glow like when she wore her shiroi make up with a nod of her head in approval.

"It looks beautiful." The jedi master said it when she was looking at it before they had gathered around for food. Nothing bg, rice cakes with fish, meats, veggies and sauces. The chopsticks that they had set up and small amount of spices were there for everyone and she finally saw some of the kensai without their make up and in more casual outfits. Halmoani was there smiling as she fed the children first and then herself. There was small conversation between them about what and where the children were from. Some of them came from different areas of Atrisia and had been orphaned with the attacks going to the city because it had the largest series of welfare workers who oversaw children and placed them.

Junkolistened to many of them and they were trying to learn all that they could to paint a picture... what few things she knew about the Keisai was that they had only females, they were secretive in their village deep in the mountains and well you could visit that village but it was largely ill advised as the people there raised the children. That was what she thought about when the boats arrived... low to the water and with repulsors in place of rowers but they were filled with Keisai that were standing there on the edge and had glow rods to illuminate the way. An energy bridge extending to the shore of the lak where they could look around and the stuff they had were being taken aboard.

The boats that came were also a few other things... they were less practical for sailing or sing in the open ocean. They were pleasure craft, meant for low waters where they wouldn't face any storms or real waves that could easily tip them. She could see the areas where they would paint and others were singing as their attendants stood near the controls to pilot them across the lake and down the small river. There wasn't a whole lot of space but the boat could make it and she saw the trees, the sun bleached rocks that were covered in markers to indicate where someone was and that they should turn back. In the distance she could see it then the tower of the Floating World where they trained.

The sight of the village as the sun set in the distance was also not to be missed as Lanterns were strung up with braziers in them so it was a softer light coming out in different colors thanks to the paper used with the lanterns. There was the beauty of what they had been making here as well when she could spy several dancing with fans and their kimono's. Everything about it spoke of art and a refinement. There were more of the women walking around with sno cones, shaved ice and sugary flavors... cherry blossoms swirling as some preformed feats with the force and others who were learning preformed exercises.

The boat docked with a small dock as she could see some of the apprentices.. the initiates who were coming down to join them as the jedi princess clasped her hands in front of her and she was walking. A parasol being brought over for her to use and the initiate holding it up with a smile on her face. "Princess." She bowed as they were walking towards the village itself and she could see a lot more of it. She could see the buildings looked like wood with paper windows but she could see more of it. The shonagan style material was used which was a lot more modern then what they would have had... it was meant for improving lives with a temperature regulation, sound reduction and energy regulation.

She was seeing the building which were the second model of the living modules they had created. With wood panels on the outside that functioned to make it look traditional. That would explain a lot more while the gleaming of barricades and containment filters were there. To keep airborne pathogens clear.. the weather station was clear that would allow he village to be safe while also keeping the air clean of anything that could be harmful. There was she saw shielding projectors around the city and defensive measures that were brought up but they weren't making it into a fortress here... children still roamed around and had their snow cones.

JUnko was looking at more of it as the sounds of music came drifting in. It was dark... the first signs of a night life here were on display as she got to see the children being ushered towards buildings to get ready for bed and there were patrons. Being escorted by Kansai who were wearing their kimono's, painted face on full display. She could see many of them dancing with a smile appearing on her face as one of them classy in her looks let her kimono slip just enough to expose a little of her shoulder but nothing more. They were somehow seductive and modest in how they did it as just a little skin could go a long way and there were some cheers.

Mostly though they were quiet and respectful.. the claps were loud enough.. you could hear it and see it when the music ended and the Kansai were walking around as they bowed. Junko was ushered to a seat as they were bringing out a few things for her. they had food for all of the people and many realized who Junko was bowing. One of the Byo screens was brought out to divide all of them and there was one of the Sansin here... she could see her visiting with a bow of the womans head in a demure look that was cast. "Interesting." She said it but watched as they started dancing with the fans and a more bouncy tune that let them dance around.
