Let's begin this Sunday off with a very serious topic to me and others.
The SWRP Staff Team received this report this morning from a member's parent:
"This is a sexual conversation going on between this person and a minor. The minor being my fifteen year old daughter or someone who has taken over her account. I would like this to stop and if it does not I have others who I can talk to about shutting this down. Thank you for reading and for your expedient action."
Last week, we were investigating an entirely different issue with another member that led to myself digging through the member's PM's for evidence the member wished us to see. I inadvertently discovered similar private messages of a sexual nature, and became enraged.
Private messages are a service of Star Wars RP: Chaos, and are thereby governed by the same rules that govern the rest of the website. I do not make a habit of perusing your private messages, but if given reasonable suspicion, I will. And if I find something of an illicit, rule-breaking nature - you will be held accountable. In the case of illicit, sexual conduct - you will be banned without warning.
This will not continue.
From our general rules:
2. This thread serves as your only warning. All perpetrators of illicit, sexual conduct via Private Messages will have their accounts terminated effective immediately.
3. I will not have this conversation again, and I will not show lenience. Warn each other.
This site is PG-13. To those of you who respect this, thank you, and I look forward to building this community together with you.
