STRENGTHS
  • Modular: Highly Adaptable, designed to be integrated with just about anything the user can get their hands on (With the proper technical know-how to adapt it if necessary). From standard Mandalorian Vambrace gadgets to custom-made wrist-mounted weaponry and utilities from the market.
  • Discrete: Its small frame makes it especially suitable for concealment with the right clothing. It's designed to quite literally give the user a "Trick up their Sleeve."
  • Durable: Thanks to the varied high-quality materials used in its construction, these vambraces are designed to be able to take a hit. Or a lot of them. With a Phrik-A plate usually covering most of its armament, it could even be used to deflect or block attacks, should the need arise. Even EMP weaponry has a tough time penetrating the Faraday Cage and Laminate supplements.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Armament: Unfortunately, sacrifices must be made to maintain a small frame. Compared to other, more authentic Mandalorian vambraces that could mount up to 3 or 4, the 'Servitor' can only fit 2 appropriate devices on each gauntlet. Compared to other Modern Mandalorian gauntlets, there's a lack of slicing systems and such, though with some fenagling, the OmniLink could accomodate such features.
  • Reload: As typical for most wrist-mounted weapons, munitions, propellents, etcetera, they must be reloaded by hand before, during, or after engagements. It's highly unlikely the frame will be able to accommodate any auto-loading mechanisms without looking more obvious.
  • Troubleshooting: To utilize these vambraces to the fullest, you probably are going to need someone who knows how to integrate more than just basic stuff, as more complicated weaponry can be tricky to properly wire. The most likely candidate, of course, being Samuel himself.
DESCRIPTION

In the earliest days of his career, even fresh meat like Samuel was not safe from encounters with the Galaxy's most obnoxious group: Force Sensitives. Jedi, Sith, Gray, anything and all in-between, he found himself fighting with plenty from all sorts of different walks of life. To which, he quickly realized he desperately needed an edge if he was to have any hope of elevating himself beyond the status of a two-bit Gun-For-Hire. Thus, he took inspiration from some of the greatest mercenaries he had come to known in his period of crew hopping: Mandalorians. The ones he typically interacted with were likely Dar'manda - violent, glory-bound at any cost, and cutthroat. Not that he could see past the rose-tinted glasses when some would reluctantly teach a few tricks here or there.

In his maintenance of equipment, he could not help but to feel the utmost sense of honor, and curiosity when the equipment needing repairing belonged to aforementioned individuals. The vambraces, he had seen a multitude in battle - occasionally against himself - and has seen their utility and offensive capabilities in equal measure. They were his greatest priority after he started striking out on his own. After eventually scraping together enough Black Market parts, and materials, he made his first pair, and refused to wear them until he properly integrated them with his own 'Beskar'gam', as it were.

Once this mid-life crisis of him hit and he dropped Bounty Hunting, much like the rest of his armor, he felt like a bit of himself was missing. Unlike his armor, however, he could create vambraces that wouldn't stick out. And so he did - the 'Servitor' Class Concealed Vambraces are possibly favored over his original ones, if only for the hilarious reactions he got when a nerf-herder hit the ground cold because they were too busy blabbing his mouth to dare question there was a weapon pointed at them all along.

For the most part, the armament barely, if at all, pokes out of the sleeves to have a clear shot at targets, and most armament that accompanies this are designed with retractable barrels to further conceal it. It has a Phrik-A plate covering the topside of the armament, so it can be dismissed as a fancy, non-combative or utility vambrace depending on how bulky the offensive attachments are. Designed to be able to be modified for nearly any situation if prep-time is given, the vambraces are a symbol of Samuel's emerging preference for keeping parts of his old lifestyle in his new one.
