Serenity Stems, From Soft Souls, And Stern Stances (Cixi Lu And Seth Brackson)

Seth gave her a soft kiss to her lips. Keeping it short, sweet, simple. Though also loving. "Morning, sunshine." Seth expressed cheerfully. Pleased she was awake. While he placed his forehead gently against her own. "I will be making breakfast this morning." Seth spoke to her softly. Before he slowly stood. Then used the blankets and turned her into a human burrito playfully wrapping her up. Folding the edges of the blankets in a manner to secure it as he playfully smirked. "There.. You can remain a cute blanket burrito while I do my task." He teased.

He hummed and headed off towards the kitchen. Where he grabbed some eggs and the steak. He cut the steak into strips and then small nearly cubed chunks. Before he founds some herbs and spices. Humming while he began to work towards making an omelet. Hoping she trusted him in his skills of cooking. He add some bits of buttered bread with melted cheese. Placing the meal onto a plate.

From there he returned to the bedroom. To see how [member="Cixi Lu"] was doing with her blanket dillema. While he sat down on the bed beside her. Willing to help her if she was still stuck. So she could take the plate and enjoy the meal he had prepared for her. While he looked to his pack and smiled. "I think I will meditate upon the crystal in the evening. We should probably get travelling towards Kashyyyk. Yuroic will want to know about it."

The more she struggled, the tighter the bedding seemed to get! Cute Blanket Burrito her arse, this was a fiendish trap of dark design!

So by the time that Seth returned, she was still quite wrapped up as badly - if not worse - than he had left her. It was a very good thing that she liked omelets - it was the only way she could bear her eggs in fact - or he would have been in for some trouble.

Well, not very much trouble. She just couldn't bring herself to chew him out.

So he came back to the image not of a blanket burito but an angry little caterpillar. Also hungry.

"Breakfast first," the caterpillar told him, "But once we're dressed I'll set our course."

Seth chuckled at the sight of the angry caterpillar. He said he'd have his revenge. This was cute, somewhat cruel, but gentle and effective. While he used the fork and cut a bite hovering it near her mouth she could test the omelet. He then set the plate in a safe area. Before he gave her a loving kiss upon her lips. Trying to apease the storm.

He then proceeded to remove the wrappings of the blanket. Then hand her her plate and fork. While he settled back in beside her. With his own plate and fork. Gently taking her hand into his own. While he nodded his agreement. "Breakfast first." He spoke softly. While he ate his meal and relaxed beside her.

She took the peace offering of omelets and kisses in stride, before sitting on the end of the bed with him to eat.

He was a good breakfast cook, that was for sure, and a good kisser - but that wasn't something she'd say out loud, not yet.

With a sound rather like inhaling, she wolfed down the eg in record time, happily consuming it all as fast as she was physically able. Food always tasted better when someone else made it for you, she found.

"May I ask, what is your master like?" She asked of him, once her plate was clean.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth himself ate his meal. While he didn't rush himself. He listened to her while she asked her question. Seth quietly thought for a bit. "I cannot really say. Yuroic is unpredictable. I could say he is stoic and stern. Though you might find him to be sweet and compassionate. Vice versa. I might say he is warm and wise. You might find him as sharp and dispassionate. I never really know how he is going to respond. I only know that so far he is been guiding me towards the path best set for me."

Seth truly wished he could clear how his mentor was to Cixi. Though in truth Seth still didn't fully understand the man himself. It was hard to do so, and one of his first lessons. Was to not believe you knew an opponent. If you went about thinking you understood them. You were setting yourself up to be taken by surprise. He was giving a painful.. Buf not cruel indicator as to why allowing someone to suprise you was ill advised.

Seth finally finished his meal. Taking his plate and her own. To the sink and rinsing them. Before he got dressed in dark green robes. With black pants and black shoes. Seth returned to [member="Cixi Lu"] and helped to make her bed. Then smiled softly to her. "Ready?"

Cixi shook her head slightly with a sigh. The master seemed like a piece of work, the sort of teacher that went out of their way to be mysterious and forbidding. Such an attitude, she felt, wasn't right for Seth. He needed solid direction in her mind, not groundless wisdoms, but solid truths.

She had, for a long time, found herself dismissive of people whom she was supposed to respect. Elder did not mean wiser, bigger did not mean stronger, shinier did not mean more beautiful, and giving did not mean kindness.

It was something she had to work on and recognised it, and as such would meet Seth's Master with politeness - for his sake if nothing else.

"As I will ever be," she replied with a nod.

Seth studied [member="Cixi Lu"] a bit. "He really is not a bad person." Seth expressed and shook his head. "My description is probably injust to some extent. He means more well than harm in his approach to things." He expressed to her calmly. Seth gave her a final kiss. Then helped her up. Where he moved to the cockpit and took a seat in the co-pilot chair.

Seth began firing up the ship. While he let Cixi work on setting up the navigator. She knew the coordinates better. If Seth did it. They might be in for an interesting trip about the galaxy. Seth hummed a soft note. While he hoped Cixi was truly doing okay.

"Honestly, La Bellacosa could probably fly to Kashyyk on her own," Cixi spoke, sitting down in the seat beside Seth, looking out at the frost world. They would likely not be coming back here - not for a very, very long time.

She shrugged, deciding she didn't much care. Memories went with her, after all. She didn't need to be here to remember the good it had brought her.

"To Kashyyk then, and the Jedi Temple," she said, lifting the ship up into the air and with minimal trouble - and setting them on a course for the forest world.

Seth looked about the stars. Observing the blue shift once more. While he reached over. Taking her hand gently into his own. Settling back and relaxing. He was thinking about [member="Cixi Lu"] and his feelings towards her. He was glad to be leaving the world. Though will remember it as the world where many good things happened to him. Even if it was cold. Then finally Seth was wondering how his mentor would respond to the new crystal he found.

Seth closed his eyes after a bit. Singing a soft melody under his breath. It was a long and sobering song. Telling a tale about a tree which was never meant to be. For in the tale the tree could see, through a hive of residential bees. The tree grew wary, of the destruction wrought around it. Aged and in time died. Though it's legacy was passed on through nearby life, and the mysteries of what it did see.

Seth wasn't the best at singing. Though he was not bad at it either. When he finished he looked to Cixi and hummed. "So, what is on your mind?" He inquired to her softly. Now that time had past. Giving her hopefully time to get her bearings. Have a response to the question which he had asked. Seth wanted to be sure her wellbeing was a priority to him.

"Everything and nothing, as often truly is within the Force," Cixi replied, giving him the smallest of smiles.

"I am happy," she added in most simple tones. It almost didn't need to be said, didn't need to be stated out loud, but she was happy just to be with him.

No matter what awaited them on Kashyyk - no matter what his master said, she would be with him.

And she would be happy to stay that way.

Happy with him, wherever he went.
