Serenity Stems, From Soft Souls, And Stern Stances (Cixi Lu And Seth Brackson)

Seth supressed a soft chuckle when he caught the slightest hint his companion blushed. As she shied away to look towards the stars. It wasn't making fun of her. Seth was just feeling warm and bubbly. Seth looked towards the stars as well. "Like dreams. Perhaps we shouldn't dwell here much longer. Not when we're both conscious. Things to do, people to help, and more to learn." Seth expressed and then stood, and moved behind her.

"If we do find my crystal. You should come with me to meet my mentor. I am sure he would appreciate meeting you." Seth expressed and smiled softly to her. "You've got a natural shell, though you're a sweetheart at the core." He noted in a manner that with his words, tone, and expression combined indicated nothing but the purest of intents in the statement.

Seth went to the place he rested and grabbed his gear. When he returned to her. "Oh, and I insist the bed is yours next time we rest." He added in a tone both serious and playful. Indicating she was open to try arguing if she wished. Though Seth would make sure he won on the matter. The bed was her bed in the first place, and Seth refused to keep that from her. Seth had a fondness he couldn't really explain towards her. He clicked a lot quicker with her than what he could of imagined.

Though he also knew forming connections was not a race. He had full intentions to tread lightly. Wanting her to be equally comfortable in deciding when to open up. When to give space. Like his mentor explained to Seth about lightsaber combat. The forms of developing connections with people were also a form of a dance. Both parties needed to move in response to the other for it to work.

Seth also got a notion they'd understand when to push and pull one another. Not in a violent sense. In a positive sense of the term. It might take time to master that dance. Though they both had a natural bond to work off of. Seth hummed at [member="Cixi Lu"] and smiled. "You mind having a co-pilot? I would appreciate the lesson in flying. You never know when I might need to take over for a short bit. The force can be unpredictable in it's will." Seth expressed. Plus, his mentor would also be appreciative that Seth was actively learning while away.

It was a good thing that Seth went away after calling her a sweetheart. It meant she didn't have to hide the crimson that flooded to her cheeks - though she still did, still curled up and pulled the top of her dressing gown over her head. It was just a compliment, she reminded herself, just a little compliment - likely out of gratitude.

By repeating this to herself, she was able to recover before he returned, able to pull herself together.

"I'd be honoured to meet your master," she spoke quickly to him when he returned - pretending to ignore his compliment entirely.

"You can insist all you like, but I haven't slept in that bed for a good long while. Then we'd both be sat sleeping in the pilot's chairs, and no-one would use it. That's not very fair on the bed, now, is it?" She said, rolling her eyes.

Cixi looked up at him when he suggested co-pilotting - she had sort of taken it for granted that he would be sitting in the cockpit with her anyway, so the suggestion surprised her.

"But of course! Familiarise yourself with the controls while I get dressed. If you can get us up before I get back, I'll give you a cookie," she told him - walking out past him, giving him an almost childish grin.

La Bellacosa's controls were rather simple; she was a medical ship, so she was fast and good at landings but not very complex. She didn't have any weapons either, only shields - and Cixi was glad for that. People seemed to enjoy blowing up ships a little too much - it was like the separation of metal made the lives lost less real.

In any case, she had to get dressed. Cookies were a precious currency, after all.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

"Yes. A bed should be with it's owner. You should really treat your bed better." Seth replied while he snickered softly. He settled down at the co-pilot seat. Then looked over the control schemes. Simple was a relative term, especially when you never operated a vessel before. Though a cookie was definitely a good motivator to behave. Well behave as far as the instructions went.

Seth closed his eyes and did his best to focus. Then opened them and began flipping switches and pulling levers. As soon the vessel began to come to life. He sought out the ignition and began the engines. Then looked towards where the throttle was and the steering mechanisms. Then sought out if there was by chance a hover feature. Not wanting to try and manually remain stable.

Upon discovering that he truly did not know if there was one. Seth shrugged and slightly increased the lift and grabbed control. While he did his best to avoid running into buildings and maintain a steady course. It was a rocky lift off. Though after a moment Seth did use his instincts to stabilize the craft, and not hit any buildings.

[member="Cixi Lu"]

Seth's take off felt smoother than it should have been - thanks in most to the gyro systems of La Bellacosa, which would keep the inside of the ship so perfectly still that it was almost disconcerting.

Nevertheless, he had taken off - and just in time too, for Cixi returned with an elephant-shaped cookie jar, dressed once more in full robes. Notably, all of her robes had slight damage around their edges, their white folds tattered.

"Well done," Cixi spoke, smiling brightly at him in turn, opening up the cookie jar for him. They were proper cookies too, chocolate chip beauties.

Cixi plopped herself her down in the co-pilot's chair, and looked out at the stars.

"Seriously, I wouldn't think this was your first time," she added, handing him the jar.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth took a cookie and handed it back. "I'm pretty certain the system cheated in my favor." He expressed and nommed on the cookie he had selected. Before he finished and cleaned the crumbs off and looked to her. "Plus, cookies work wonders." He added. Before he smiled softly. Looking out towards the stars, and thinking about the journey ahead of them.

Seth allowed [member="Cixi Lu"] to reclaim command of her vessel for the most part. While he assisted where he could. He discovered in time there were no weaponry on the ship. Though Seth wasn't in full agreement about not having at least one turret should need arise for defending the ship. He sort of left it at a her ship, her rules sort of situation.

Seth leaned back in his chair and meditated to an extent. While they travelled. He didn't fall into a deep meditative state. Merely keeping his thoughts clear and mind opened. Should he find reason to suggest a change in the course of their flight. "How are you feeling?" Seth calmly inquired.

With the controls back in her hands, she hit the hyperspace lever and leant back in her seat.

"She's a self-sufficient ship, as much as possible. I'm trying to wire her up so she'll fly in when I call her - just in case," Cixi explained, putting the cookie jar behind her chair.

The stars melded together, turning to blue lines - and then the four-dimensional swirl of hyperspace, formless and twisting all around them.

"Feeling?" She asked him, her tone naught but curious. "Why do you ask?"

In truth, she was never very good with her own emotions - they seemed to all blend together, all be dulled slightly, so that it wasn't until she felt something deeper that she felt at all. She didn't feel sad, but when her mother had died... She didn't feel concern, but when her Grandfather had gone away to that final battle... She didn't feel comfortable, but when she was around Seth...

"It's not something I dwell on, usually," she added.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth studied [member="Cixi Lu"] while she was in thought. Studying her features from her black hair, to pale skin, lithe figure, and tattered yet clean robes. Waiting earnestly for the revelation of her well being. Though soon she spoke, and once more Seth listened. He pondered over her words. Wondering how it must be to not have to struggle with emotions overwhelming oneself. Though ultimately decided like embracing emotions, as Seth did more often than not. Suppressing them, or being ignorant towards them in general had it's own repercussions.

Seth went back to his original mentor. When the old jedi order still was a prevelant figure. One of the first questions Seth expressed. Was why his mentor and him were leaving. His mentor's response was akin to the following. The jedi believed in following the force, within a limit. About controlling ones emotions and supressing them. Avoid forming connections, avoid opening up to anything that might lead to anger, or fear. His mentor did not believe these ideals, and so cast them out.

Seth would know once he had been on the recieving end of his old mentor's wrath. A mistake neither forgot, Seth forgave, though his old mentor always regretted that moment. Seth in turn had met people with nothing though the purest hostilities. He was now trying to find a better path a balance. Though he also understood his mentor. The more he learned of the force.

"I guess I asked only because I walked a path where acknowledging and embracing emotions was once encouraged such as the act of breathing. Not to give into acts of anger and fear. Those one should be wary of. Though now the more I understand the force. I understand a little more where my first mentor was coming from." Seth expressed to Cixi finally. To show he wouldn't force her to tell her feelings. Till she knew what they were, if that time came. Though like Seth opened up to her, he'd hope she would do the same.

"If life is interwoven into the force. Life in an manner an expressive extension of it. Isn't it a bit.. Too much to be coincidental that both the force flows, and so too does emotion. Every emotion has a current. Every emotion a type of flame, or a various breeze. Each one a different ground to root itself upon and each with various depths which the roots sink in." Seth paused a moment before he continued. "Every emotion has a balance, a counterpart. A light side and a dark side to them if you will. Even fury can be righteous, and can be used for good. A flame that wards off the creatures of the night, is what keeps a tribe alive." Seth expressed to her calmly.

"Please bare with me. I am not trying to sway you. Merely help you understand how I came to be who I am." He said to her calmly. "What defines truly the balance of light and dark? For me it is not the use of emotion itself. It is the blindness that comes from certain emotions. The force is a living flow, and too often does the darkside disrupt it. Their emotions are expressed without filter or control. They do not work with the force, they break it entirely." Seth said calmly.

"For me true inner peace is not being void of emotion, or supressing them. It is understanding them, and understanding where to draw the lines. The force wouldn't of bestowed them to us without reason. The force wouldn't of giving so many wonderful, and equally powerful emotions that are pure. Though I will always maintain a level of clarity, a means to center my mind and act with thought. I too will acknowledge when I feel something.. Both good and bad. I will let the force guide me on when I should draw lines, and when I should... Follow the flow. The key to avoiding the darkside isn't avoiding emotion itself. The key is knowing when that emotion falls into place with the will of the force, and when the emotion is trying to blindly lead into wounding it." Seth concluded as he hummed a soft melody.

Seth went silent for a moment. "I would also like to say. I am in the process of turning away from leaning on emotions too much. I always would like them to be a part of my life. I want to be aware of how I feel, and why I feel a certain way. Though at the same time I want to be centered and balanced. Serenity too has it's place within the force, and sometimes surrender to the force, and allowing your mind to act on thought, it's will, and purity. Is the course that is proper too take. Though the force and life are interwoven, life and emotion are interwoven, and through life the force and emotion are one and the same. Merely different expressions. Different flows. I can promise you this. I can promise you this dear friend. If I did not FEEL the passion and overwhelming desire to perserve and protect life. If I Did not Feel the desire to shelter it and keep it safe from harm. If I did not Feel the Force and Feel the reasons as to why it should not be broken, why it's flow coursed the way it does. I promise you the man you would have met, would of been one who would be colder than I am today. Yes, I am a flame in my spirit.. Though as you said. I can be a flame who warms many, and because I feel so strongly towards perserving the life and the force. I will strive to give into serenity, and allow the force to guide my ways to ensure that someday I can be the individual whom you see me potentially becoming. To try my best never to allow my emotions to consume who I am."

"Your words ring true within my own philosophy," Cixi replied - having listened intently throughout everything he had to say. "Emotion, even the deepest hatred, is not a sure path to the dark side. Negativity should of course be avoided for one's mental wellbeing, if nothing else. But shutting oneself off from feeling as the old Jedi did?"

She shook her head deeply.

"My mother described love within the Force. She told me that it was the deepest, brightest light that one could ever be immersed in - one that built up inside until it warmed all she felt. My Father said it felt more akin to an explosion to him - of nothing but the utmost beauty. How could the Jedi deny themselves that? Moreover, the entire reason for it was hypocritical - for they chose this path out of fear, one of the very emotions they believed would lead them to darkness. In a way, it did, once long ago," Cixi spoke on, gesturing gently as she made her points.

"So I can but only agree with you. Restraint when necessary, but in all else, I want the freedom to love and live within the Force. I allow myself emotion; I'm just rather awfully bad at them," she said, sending him the smallest of smiles.

"So do not restrain yourself on my accord, Seth. A person shines brightest when allowed to act naturally, after all."

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth listened to Cixi's response to his beliefs. Visibly relaxing as he expected some level of criticism. Though when it appeared they had common ground. Seth smiled and leaned over and gently touched her arm once more. "I am glad we have a common view there. Though I would of respected your beliefs if elsewise." He replied to her honestly. He felt the smoothness of her skin his hand resting a moment longer than last time. As he took in the heat they traded in that moment. Testing it's feeling and noting it was enjoyable. Warmth was something they too both had in common.

Seth removed his hand once more. While he looked to the stars. "Well, perhaps being around me enough. You might start seeing what your inner emotions are. I am not saying I am a miracle worker. I have no talent for healing like you do with the force. Though I do care, and am here to help." Seth expressed while he looked to the coordinates. Smiling softly as he closed his eyes for a moment and hummed. "What was your first memory of tapping into the force?" Seth inquired curiously. While he reached out and let his force signature mingle with her own again. To see if through the force he could gain a better understanding to how she felt and thought right now. Brushing with his own energy as a gentle way of a knock for permission to do so.

At this rate this might become an equally common way to communicate aside from communication. The more Seth mingled with her energies. The more familiar he was to them. An example was this time it took him roughly ten seconds, instead of a couple of minutes to be centered enough to find her energies. They were familiar to him, as he and her had shared experiences through them. It was a deep... Almost intimate manner of communication. Though one was Seth was fond of now. There was no lies, no masks, no ways to leave out details shy from blocking a person out. In addition Seth trusted [member="Cixi Lu"] and so any information she interchanged with him, and from him he felt no reason to resist.

The feeling that ran through her whenever he touched her, the warmth that came with it - physically and within the Force - was unlike anything that she had ever experienced before, and she couldn't help but want more. So she moved her arm so that his touch traced along her until her own hand was encompassed by his own; an invitation as plain as could be said without words.

"Being around you should be enough," she echoed quietly, looking ever so slightly away - yet leaving the invitation in play.

His question was a deep and interesting one, but one that she had difficulty answering;

"That is truly hard to say - both of my parents were Force-wielders. Neither Jedi or Sith, just healers who used their natural ability to help others. I was surrounded by and in the Force from before I was born. I have never gone a day without having some interaction with the Force. To be cut off from it would be a harrowing experience for me," she explained in a matter-of-fact tone.
[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth blinked and took her hand into his own. He in turn blushed a soft pink as he hummed a happy note. While he settled and continued to let his force signature flow over her own, and in turn let her flow over him. "If ever a day like that should come. Force forbid it I hope I will be there. Not because I would want you to suffer. Quite the opposite, I'd hope I would be too stubborn not to find a way to help you back to the connection. It is... An unpleasant experience." Seth expressed from knowledge of what it was like.. And for most his life Seth hadn't even been too deep into his training and interaction with the force. If it was disturbing for him in those moments. He softly shuddered at the thought of what something like that would do to [member="Cixi Lu"] for even a second.

"Oh yeah.." Seth suddenly remembered. "I owe you a dinner. I promised if tea went well I would do such." Seth added and softly smiled. "I am pretty sure tea went well." He softly chuckled as he finished. Then opened his eyes and looked to her. "You missed a strand." Seth softly noted and reached over softly parting a rogue strand of her hair to the side before it could get into her eyes. Then smiled as he thought about his memory of the force.

"I was pretty young when I showed affinity for the force. My first demonstration was stopping a piece of rubble from hitting my neighbors pet. I was only a couple years old. Though I can honestly say I never felt truly what the force was. Until my mentor within our order guided me to stop using it as a survival tool, and start seeing and feeling it. That was the moment I understood for the force time what the force was in correlation to me, and though I have much more to learn about it. I now understand why we must work with it, instead of forcing it to bend and work for us." Seth explained to her calmly and hummed. "Then.. Being around you I am slowly understanding more about the bond between the force and life. How closely they are both interwoven.. As well as in your company. How beautiful of an individual you truly are. How pure in the force. I hope you always shine brightly." Seth expressed calmly.

(Ooc: Should totally have them create a force bond between one another in some thread. Even if it is like an accidental occurrence. It would add an interesting plot element Irregardless of if they solidify their relationship, part as friends down the road, or have a more drastic fallout. Provided the more they mingle, the more I am kind of rooting for them to overcome any future trials. They have an odd balance.)

Cixi found herself blushing - truly, thoroughly blushing - the warm contact with Seth was the first she had taken in much a very long time, and even then he was like nothing she had ever experienced before. Both simultaneously she wanted to hide, and yet she absolutely did not want him to stop.

"Dinner sounds good," Cixi spoke quietly - electing not to mention that it was what she had been suggesting originally; tea meant dinner - dinner meant lunch. Dialects were confusing, but that was fine - she had been happy to share a cup with Seth.

"We should collect your crystal first, however - rewards should come after activity, don't you think?" She asked him in turn with a smile.

She listened to him share his story intently - right up until the moment he called her beautiful.

Never had such words been offered to her before, and to hear them so kindly told made her freeze in place - gazing blankly at the man beside her. What was she to do with that information?! So sudden and easily said that it could not be less than the purest of truths.

Like fire, bright fire, it blazed through her - turning her thoughts to ash, her pretty words at last at an end.

What could be said in turn, when words failed her? What could be said to the man that ignited her such?

'Actions - not words, verd'ika. They're s' much louder,' her grandfather's words echoed in her mind - and with them, she knew what to tell him, exactly what to say.

Almost too quickly, too fast, too suddenly, she leant over and brushed her lips against his cheek - retreating but a moment later, her hand still in his, to hide from herself and him.

Like fire, the brightest of fires. She could only hope that he shared in its warmth.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth hummed another soft and content note at the kiss to his cheek. Smiling warmly and taking the time to silently enjoy her presence. Before as a soft reply he gently kissed the back of her hand. Seeming her face was turned away at the moment. Which was fine, this was a lot to take in even for Seth. Though this was pure, warm, and true.

Seth wasn't even sure what this was. After all they'd not even known each other a whole day. The best he could describe this as. Was.. Almost akin to soul mates. He felt strongly towards her, and already he felt he knew her most his life. As if though she had always been around. Which was both a bright and intimidating concept.

Seth revelled in the warmth they shared. Continuing to let their force energies mix and mingle. While he also radiated emotional warmth, comfort, contentment, and affection. Though after awhile he slowly withdrew with a final kiss to her hand. "I look forward to the future.." Was Seth's soft words. As he knew they needed to pace. They truly shouldn't race blindly into these emotions. He didn't want to find what happens if the crashed at high speeds.

Seth turned his attention back to the stars. "Yes. We should complete our duties. In fact shouldn't..." Seth's sentence was cut short. As suddenly the ship shuddered as if struck violently with something. "What in the force!" Seth expressed and shot his attentions to identifying the threat. While he assumed Cixi was in the works of countering it. As Seth scanned about and finally detected the problem.

"Erm.. Cixi.. It appears a group of smugglers has taking interest in your medical vessel." Seth expressed to her. He'd be at work countering this attack. Which he assumed was vary rare. Especially in a medical ship.. In SJO territory. Though for some reason this particular trip. It was happening and it was a threat. The proof was in the second hit to the ship that shook the vessel. As Seth growled ready to turn defensive weaponry against the vessels.. Only to remember. Right. They had none! Seth sighed in resignation hoping [member="Cixi Lu"] had a plan for these situations. As Seth decided to trust her, and help where he could. Without turning his attention to the force.

Cixi's blush disappeared immediately, and she took control of the ship immediately. Her hands brushed over a series of buttons, as she pulled harshly back on the joystick.

"La Bellacosa's shields are a little special - they use the very energy from blaster weaponry to sustain themselves. Our enemies will of course eventually work this out and switch to torpedos, but by that time..." She mumbled quickly as she turned the ship violently starboard.

Another series of buttons and a deep thrumming sound filled the entire ship as the stars rushed by. The smuggler's ship was no slouch, but La Bellacosa was in a whole other league of speed, even in empty space she could stay three steps ahead of the enemy's weaponry.

The hyperspace route had dropped them near her planet, the nearly pure white orb looming large in their view.

"We will have used our speed to descend planetside - draw them out into a physical battle. Two Jedi against a group of smugglers, it's a little unfair, but if they have any sense they'll reconsider their approach," Cixi spoke - flinging the ship into the planet's upper atmosphere.

Cixi's skill as a pilot did not seem exceptional - rather, it was her ship's modifications that were keeping them ahead, and allowed them to land on the planet's surface, a pool of ice melting into water as they hit ground.

"Prepare yourself, I doubt that they will have been disuaded by our speed."

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth nodded his head and got up. While he grabbed his gear. "I doubt so." Seth did agree to [member="Cixi Lu"] when she mentioned they wouldn't of been detered. Though hey at least him and his companion. Would have a moment more to prepare and address the matter. He was to an extent relatively impressed by how quick her ship could move and maneuver.

Seth went and exited the ship. Looking up to watch as soon the pursuing ship entered orbit. Seth narrowed his eyes and then widened them slightly. "Down!" He expressed instinctively to Cixi the moment he saw a missile being propelled towards their location. Though this was where Seth demonstrated what he was not.. To be misjudged in his force potential. At least to Cixi.

Seth wasn't going to let that missle harm them. Not himself... And especially not her ship, droid.. Or especially her. Seth grounded his stance and rooted himself as he tapped into the force. Time seemingly slowing for him as he made a forward motion with his hand and suddenly a relatively large turrent of kinetic energy projected forward from his body. The energy rocketed up... Well towards the rocket. At an impressive rate colliding with the threat closer to the enemy ship than what was intended. As the explosion caused the ship in the air to shake and waver in course even tearing a part of it open.

The enemy ship as a result came hurtling down.. Though sadly in Seth's opinion. As he was a bit upset they would dare to try and throw a strike like that. The ship managed the rough landing and drawed to a halt. While moments later a relatively angry crew emerged from the ship. Seth was visibly sweating as he leaned slightly against the staff of his. The ability having obviously come with the back lash of the strain. Even if Seth was hiding most of how much it effected him. Seth was naturally strong in the force.. Though he had a long way to go.. Before handling that level of force energy would come with little to no effort.

Cixi watched his movements without worry, feeling his own protectiveness fuel his strike - the air itself rending apart to detonate the torpedo midair and causing their ship to come down.

He was strong, his interaction with the Force was a glory to behold, utter beauty in motion. A shame about the destruction, but he was a work in progress - so that was fine. Besides, no-one had died, it seemed.

Cixi stepped out before Seth, drawing her lightsaber as she stood between him and the would-be pirates.

"You attacked a medical ship. I hope you're proud of yourselves," she called out to them, igniting her lightsaber - directing its tip into the snow so that it turned instantly to steam around her.

As per, her saber was little more than a distraction, an intimidation technique. Until she learned Form VI - Niman, the art of Force within Saber Combat, she was useless in battle.

"Go with your lives, and be happy. You have lost," she called out to them, the ancient technique of Dun Moch guiding her voice. Using her words and the Force, she would inspire confusion and a loss of morale within their ranks - so that if they chose to fight, they would fight sloppily.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth watched [member="Cixi Lu"] as he softly sighed. He appreciated her taking the lead. Though if conflict arose. He'd find a way to take lead. He could always push himself further. If it meant ensuring he kept her safe from the men. Though soon he sensed that she utilized her own form of a force technique. A more milder and passive one. While he saw the men's features turn from anger at their damaged ship, to uncertainty and confusion. While he heard them whisper amoung themselves.

After awhile the captain shook his head. "Fine.. Fine.. We'll call this one." The captain finally decided. As the small gang did indeed turn away. Instead going about to trying to set up a camp and repair their ship. Seth sighed a little bit. Shoot. He wanted to cause a lump or two on their heads. For.. Educational purposes.

Seth walked up gently grabbing Cixi by her hand. Then reached over and deactivated her blade for her. He doubted she would resist his efforts. As he turned and guided her back to her own ship. He almost thought their own ship. For the briefest of moments. Though Seth still decided he was a guest there and so recollected his course of thoughts.

"We should get a meal, and a short nap. I have a good idea where to head. Though it is a ways out." Seth expressed. Unsure how he knew where to head. Something was just.. Summoning him. He couldn't explain the feeling. Just that he knew they would need a little bit of rest. Before they set out.

Cixi breathed slightly outwards. Seth had been right to turn off her Lightsaber - she had been frozen in place, her own focus too great.

"You're right, of course. You'll have to have a look in the wardrobes, I believe I still have some thicker coats that might be useful in this situation," she spoke with a nod.

They hadn't even had breakfast yet! Really, how uncouth of her - to think of sending him off without something in his stomach.

"Come away in then," she told him, even though he was the one guiding her.

Despite all appearances, Cixi was a meat-itarian. She couldn't go without some Nerfsteak in her life, it was just too good. Dropping Seth off in the bedroom, she went through to the kitchen - asking to be allowed to cook alone.

The Nerfsteak was as fresh as possible with all the distance in play, the vacuum sealing methods far more efficient than canning or freezing it. She preheated the pan and seared it off, going for a Medium Rare in temperature. As she seared it, she added a pinch of Kashyyk spice - the none-addictive fiery kind of spice that went well with meat. Over the two steaks, she placed each a slice of cheese, letting it melt over the meat in its last moments.

"It's ready," she shouted through as she plated it for them both, placing cutlery on each end of the table.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth followed and looked through for the right coat for himself. Well to borrow of course. When he finally settled on a dark blue one. He waited patiently. Allowing Cixi to be left alone. As he really didn't want to find out what happened if you angered a woman in a kitchen. Even one as fragile looking as [member="Cixi Lu"] it.. Wouldn't bode well for him he assumed.

Seth returned a moment later. After she announced the completion of the meal. Seth bowed in her direction gently. Then helped plate the food. Grabbing his own plate and eating the meal she had provided. Keeping quiet as he did so. Though smiling softly at the flavors of the meal. It was one of the best meals he ate.

Seth cleaned off the plate once he had finished. Then settled down in the co-pilot chair. Tucking his hood over his head. Then closing his eyes as he drifted into a dreamless slumber. Only occasionally twitching and turning in his otherwise still state of sleep.

Cixi pouted childishly when he took his rest in the co-pilot's chair. What about 'I haven't slept in the bed in ages' did he not understand?

In any case, it was only fair that he get some rest now. It would be him that would be going down into the caverns soon, to face whatever test the Force would deem fit for him.

The caves of Khyber tested each Jedi that entered them with a test of spirit deeply personalised to them.

And she could not help him.

Not any more than this; a kiss left on his sleeping brow and a few most gentle words.

"May you find all you seek."
