What does a club owner do on her night off? Go to another club, of course. Because that made sense, or at least it did to the gaggle of Zeltron women that had spent the better portion of their night tearing up the dance floor and procuring free drinks at the Haneul Lounge. Joza was certainly enjoying the atmosphere, given the subtle differences from Blush. the latter being a bit more seedy, swamped in a heady cloud of pheromones and smoke. But the Indigo District club catered to a rougher crowd.

She’d just finished another round of dancing, leaning against the bar with a pair of equally pink skinned women. A tight tank top, impossibly short shorts and thigh high boots completed her evening look—the stiletto Heartbeat Heels giving her an extra boost in height with the added benefit of a concealed knife for necessities sake. A girl could never be too careful right? Hence the jolt ring and stun pearl earrings.

The Zeltron was already a few drinks in, but it made little difference with the consideration of her second liver and tolerance. The trio of women giggled at something, but Joza gave pause when she spotted a familiar head a little ways away. “Dax!” Perking up, she pushed off of the bar and turned to her two friends. “I know him, guys! Wait here, I’m going to say hello!” Even though they were right next to eachother, she had to raise her voice above the thrumming bass.

“Dax! Hey, Dax, I—“ Weaving through the crowd with the grace of a ballerina balancing on pointy heels that had taken years to perfect, Joza blinked as she felt the Force surge suddenly and saw Dax slide backwards for a few beats before spraying flame at a woman. Her eyes glittered with vague amusement, giving every indication that she was intoxicated.

She was sober, though. The night was too young for that. Despite the somewhat loopy smile on her face, her senses sharpened as she subtly took in the scene around her. The placement of the exits, the crowd and who or what might be lurking in in—she had no idea why Dax and this woman were fighting, but fights in a club usually got ugly fast. Something to do with the adrenaline and heat. Force knows she’s broken up (and participated in) her fair share. She wouldn't interrupt his dance, but watched his back for anyone who might try and butt in.

Even in the shuffle that had ensued, she thought she had seen [member="Dax Fyre"] swipe something off the table. The covert movement had taken place just behind Ma Gangrim’s back, she blinked. Maybe she was just seeing things… And as she was pulled out of the room, the stranger moved out as well – but he left of his own accord.

“Hey!” She yelled, “Let me go! Now!”

The bouncer complied and dumped her down near the dance floor.

Cassie collected herself from the ground with a grumble and let her dark eyes search the area for the man that Ma Gangrim had been speaking with. He wasn’t hard to find. It now seemed that he was the target of a young brunette. Hmm, was this a lover’s quarrel of some kind? She couldn’t say, and perhaps it was none of her business… but she always was the nosy sort.

But as she moved to approach, she was quickly taken aback by fire. Cassie jumped back and decided to remain clustered with the crowd. The club-goers were beginning to stir into frenzy en route for the exit. It was clear that this situation was not going to improve.

“What the kark is going on?” she wondered aloud.

It all happened so fast.

One minute she was looking at him, the next, [member="Ara Ren"] broke into a run through the dancers to towards the private rooms, leaving [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] lost for words in that split-second.

Connor bolted upright from his lazy seat and watched her move towards something – or someone – and heard nothing for a few moments bar the pulse of music. First, he felt the pull of the darkness in her. Next, a scream, then another. A spark of lights exploded up above from a rippling shockwave. Bodies fell, many ran in panic.

Fire swept through a section of the club, glowing a dangerous orange amidst the swirling lights of the club that erupted into chaos.

He didn’t wait to find out what would come next. He ran past the swarming bodies, screaming and chatting in excited fear at the fight behind them. Connor focused ahead, pushing those coming towards him out the way until he saw the man summoning the flame - [member="Dax Fyre"] - attacking her.

He didn’t know the man. He didn’t care. Nor did he care for the faceless people around him. Ara was in trouble, but she had clocked this man before and his gut feeling led him to the Coruscant incident.

Connor barged past a woman looking perplexed - [member="Cassie Choi"] – and didn’t hesitate to act on the man. It was the Zeltron he passed however that looked familiar in that moment of confusion. It looked like [member="Joza Perl"] and was certainly her kind of – no. It couldn’t have been. She was long gone from his life.

He stopped fast, and summoned the fire coming from the attacker and outstretched his hands, pulling them in towards his palm, manipulating the burning elements in the air with the Force. With a shove, he violent pushed them back towards the attacker and the private room.

He didn’t care that the bouncer was caught up in the attack – he only knew he had to act to take this animal down.

The dancing did Kaalia well, and it seemed she was lost in the moment. The music, the dancing, everything tickled her senses and it felt good. It lasted way shorter than she had hoped however, when suddenly [member="Ara Ren"] took off. Her mind snapped back to reality, and confusion rose up in her mind. It was clear there was something going on, sensing Ara's anger rise up, and when the redhead saw her send out a push towards a man who was about to leave the private room she could only think that the man was an enemy. Perhaps... The man from Coruscant?

Heading straight after Ara seemed like a rash decision, and instead Kaalia decided to move through the crowd as if she had no relation with the people that started fighting. She saw [member="Connor Harrison"] quickly joining the fray, and fire came from the man Ara was busy with. The woman was now close to where the fight broke out, and when she noticed the girl from earlier standing beside her ([member="Cassie Choi"]). "I need you to make sure everyone gets out of here, it's about to get even more ugly. Can you do that?" She didn't wait around to answer, seeing an opening to jump in. Letting the Force gather around her feet, she let it augment her jump. Using telekinesis she summoned her lightsabers to her hands mid-jump, igniting them as she landed right beside Ara. The fire had been pushed back by Connor, allowing Kaalia to use the distraction to close the distance between her and the man. Flashes of blue and red made its way towards his side as the woman swept her lightsabers in his direction. Whoever he was, he had picked the wrong enemies.

The Reaper of Won Shasot
What surprised Dax wasn't quite the Dark Sider's presence, but her friends who had seemed to manifest from nowhere. Where as the man had expected his first attack to land, injuring the woman, the flames were instead whisked away into the palm of another man who promptly threw the Master's own attack back at him! The Rogue hadn't quite learned how to manipulate fire in the same manner and instead conjured another Force barrier, the fire slamming into it, creating a brilliant orange and red wall of light that obscured his vision. When the flames died out the man saw two sabers screaming to his side, aiming to cleave him in half. Only the split second, instinctive reaction saved him. Dax's own two sabers ignited at the last moment, catching the two attacking blades. However, the late reaction had cost the man. His guard didn't have the strength to prevent him from being pushed backwards. The man's body slammed into the wall next to him, caught between the duracrete and burning plasma of yet another woman's sabers.

The man's face twisted into an ugly grimace as he pushed back against the woman, his strength slowly succeeding. But it was taking too long to overpower her, leaving his whole side exposed to attack. Instead he brought his knee up and aimed to jab it roughly into the taller woman's side. If she brought her arm down to defend against Dax's attack she risked being overpowered and promptly losing her head to the man's blades. If she failed to defend against his knee, either by virtue of the Rogue's speed or knowing the result of her second option, she'd only be pushed away by the man.

The blaze of red and orange coming at her had the disciple throwing up her own barrier, hands outstretched in front of her. As quickly as she acted, the flames were whisked away, into the waiting hands of [member="Connor Harrison"] and turned back on their master. She growled low in her throat, cursing her friend’s fast reactions as [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] joined the fray with a jump and ignition of her sabers.

”This is my fight.” She hissed, her voice low, purring, and dangerous.

As her red-headed friend was repelled by a well-placed knee, Ara aided his defense with a force push of her own. Her friend and lover’s help was all well and good, but this was one fight she wanted to enjoy on her own.

A simple though had her saber moving from its hidden location at the small of her back to her right hand, igniting the instant it touched her palm. She moved into the space in front of the man, her blade moving in two rapid strikes towards his side. Her attacks were not meant to land, if they did it would be an added bonus. Instead, she used her blade and her approached to attempt to herd the man towards the room he’d just vacated.

Her hand snapped out, another wall of power pushing the young man towards the open doorway. The screams, pounding music, and angry shouting coming from the bystanders was lost as her own heartbeat filled her ears. This was about revenge, pure and simple, and she would have it.

There was no better way to escalate a situation than adding a little actual fire to the mix. She was proud of Dax for that, though, given she’d taught him the basics of pyrokinetics and fire shaping in the first place.

But the dark haired vixen who threw the first telekinetic punch did not come alone, Dax’s fire attack being redirected and absorbed by…wait, was that Connor Harrison in casual garb at a night club? It couldn’t be, no way. This was the last place she’d see him, given his uncertainly over the nightlife scene the last time they’d talked on good terms. Regardless, sabers were out and the squabble had been pushed further to the perimeter of the room and away from the general crowd—which was screaming something fierce right now, to be fair. Her girls had already fled the scene, knowing full that leaving was the best choice when things got rough.

“Dax, can you and your girlfriends take care of this outside, yeah?” Somehow she’d woven her way closer to be within earshot of them all, voice as smooth and pleasant as that of a hostess. Her kindly smile was a tic or so above normal, vaguely predatory but not enough to be called outright malicious.

“I’ll even referee.” She doubted they’d put down their weapons and quietly agree to go into a back alley anyhow, so that choice was out of her mind already. Hands found their way to her hips, ready to strike or defend if necessary. “Then again, two on one isn’t entirely fair.” One hand surged forward, index finger flicking off of her thumb in a small but concentrated Force push towards [member="Kaalia Voldaren"], aiming for the back of her right knee with a practiced precision. It was intended to make the girl buckle, taking her off balance as Dax fended her off with a saber lock.

Green eyes shifted over to the side to [member="Connor Harrison"], keeping the fight in her periphery.

“Or is it three?”

[member="Ara Ren"] [member="Dax Fyre"] [member="Connor Harrison"] [member="Cassie Choi"]

As [member="Ara Ren"] moved in with [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] as back-up, Connor clasped his hands to stem to flame and it sizzled into nothing ness. He stood up and moved a few paces forward, eyes burning and fists ready to strike, but the confined space of the club itself and the private rooms – with the increasing number of bodies – wasn’t ideal. It was dangerous. [member="Dax Fyre"] was up against it.

The glow of a lightsaber glared in disorientating shades across the walls, the sound humming loud as the music continued to blare out, devoid of a DJ to work the tables now nearly all patrons had fled.

Respecting and trusting not just his lover, but his friend, was crucial. The formation of still fragile alliances was ever growing, but a little crack could ruin it all and throw not just Connor but the Ren into disarray with broken relationships and bickering allies.

Ara had made it clear from the start that revenge was hers, and it would not do her any favours in charging in. Trust and respect. If things got nasty, then so would he to help them. Wanting to shake the irritating did he / didn’t he distraction from his head, he turned momentarily from the rooms to look across. A Zeltron in a more than alluring get-up and high heels to boot, coupled with that inimitable poise and underhand attack confirmed it.

[member="Joza Perl"] was indeed here, and targeting Kaalia, and so helping Dax.

Connor darted over.

"Joza!” He grabbed her wrist and held it, to stop another sly attack. Her scent immediately brought back painful memories of the past. "Of all the clubs in all the galaxy…you had to saunter into this one.”

He didn’t know what to do – he didn’t know what she was; friend or foe?

[member="Cassie Choi"]

Cassie turned slightly as the flame-haired woman spoke to her, the words she spoke barely audible over the startled cries and shouts. But the Seoularian nodded, and began pointing people towards the exit. As the crowd filtered out, the dance floor was left quite empty – only those fighting remained. Well, it was safe to say that Haneul Lounge had never seen this kind of action before. Cassie lingered there by the door herself, far too curious to escape with the rest of the club goers.

She narrowed her eyes as she watched these strange people.

But a flash of motion caught her gaze. She watched as Ma Gangrim stood in the shadows, his arms crossed tightly. He watched cautiously as the force-users turned his dance floor into a fight staging area. Slipping back inside the club, Cassie approached him and let her hand lace around his arm. He wasn’t going to shake her away so easily this time.

“Get outside; you don’t want to get caught up in this.” He spoke in a low tone.

The club owner attempted to pull his arm away.

“I want to see what’s going on, that’s all.” She beamed, despite the rather serious situation happening nearby.

Kaalia smiled as she worked the man back into the wall, pinning him down. When he brought his knee up to push her back, she looked to block it. It was too late however, and the hit caused her to stagger backwards when she suddenly was pushed to the side through the Force. Immediately after, her right leg buckled as another small but precise push hit the back of her knee. [member="Ara Ren"] came through, making it clear what the source of the first push was. "Are you trying to get me killed!?" the redhead yelled, visibly angry.

As the woman recovered, she saw Ara's attempt to drive the man out of the room, and a quick glance in the room revealed that [member="Connor Harrison"] was dealing with another woman. The stranger seemingly had backup. She got back up and resummoned the blue beam of light, quickly clipping back the other saber. channeling the anger that was caused by what had transpired. Small hints of red and sulphur trickled into her eyes as she drew upon the darkness around her. Kaalia concentrated on the man's neck trying to choke him out while he was occupied dealing with the brunette's attack. She'd deal with Ara later.

Dax couldn't help but smile a little as the red-headed dark sider was flung away by her own ally. 'Go ahead. Take me on alone, see how well that goes.' Dax thought as he turned to face the brunette. The flashing red blades came at the Rogue's sides, but Dax knew a feint when he saw one. Instead of stepping backwards as the aggressor had intended, the Master stepped forward, parrying aside the first and second strikes. The lifting of her arm and subsequent Force push narrowly avoided as Dax, now well within the woman's guard, spun around past her. The woman's Force push would've entered the room within which the red-headed one was in, most likely striking her instead as the Force choke took hold of Dax. As the Force push struck the woman Dax's blades swept in a wide arc, clearly aimed score a deep gouge across the brunette's back.

Tunnel vision they call it, when someone doesn’t see anything else going around them. Ara had it. The disciple didn’t notice as the pink skinned woman joined the fray, nor did she notice [member="Connor Harrison"] engage the woman. As [member="Kaalia Voldaren"] went down with an angry shout, the brunette didn’t even bother replying.

Her feints met air as he moved in, towards her guard, his blades meeting her’s in easy parries. Her force push went wide and he avoided all three attacks, a growl of anger pulled from her throat.

Spinning to keep the man in front of her, she threw herself backwards to avoid the twin beams of his blades as they swept past her. Her eyes narrowed as she straightened, thankful that fast reflexes had once again saved her from what could have been a very nasty injury.

Her new vantage point revealed a mostly clear club and a dance floor that just itched for a bloodstain. Her irises darkened, red and sulfur taking over the green as she pulled more power. On the far side of the club, a man and woman watched and Ara mentally noted their stupidity.

Two quick steps brought her within his range, her blade raised to fend off any attack, her foot snapping out towards his gut. Fighting fair never won anyone any points.

The two young women engaging Dax seemed more focused on taking him down in their own way—which lead to a messy, awkwardly coordinated battle. The dark ichor leaking from them both was no surprise, then, and she almost laughed when one pushed the other out of the way to get to her prize.

Her upper lip curled into a momentary sneer as a hand latched firmly around her wrist, and suddenly she was face to face with [member="Connor Harrison"]. Any irritation was put on the backburner as mild surprise flashed across her face. “How did you know I was sauntering? Did you watch me as I walked in?” There was a note of amusement leaking into her tone. Her captive wrist flicked downwards sharply, figuring that he’d held onto it for a few seconds too long. She had questions, of course. But they’d linger in the back of her mind for now.

“Are you sure you’re here of your own free will?” There was an obvious teasing edge to her voice, given that from what she knew of the man, he was not the sort to indulge in night life of his own volition. Green eyes flickered back to the squabble. [member="Dax Fyre"] seemed to be handling himself well for the time being. She decided to shoot straight.

Whatever charm [member="Joza Perl"] had used on Connor before, it would need to be used ten time more for this Disciple of Ren. No longer an indecisive and un-confident man, Connor was here for one reason, and he Joza was too. And they certainly weren't on the same side. He looked at her, and then over to the private room which was aglow with combat and spilled out into the wider club.

Connor's eyes were fixed on [member="Dax Fyre"] engaging with [member="Ara Ren"] - this was her fight, and he had to respect that, but his desire to sweep in was strong.

"Your buddy over there picked a fight with the wrong woman.”

His voice was blunt and to the point.

"He's either a mole within the First Order working for the Alliance, or he's a traitor. Either way, his cover is up and he will pay for what he's done.”

With a pang of regret, he looked to the Zeltron, and felt they were a million miles away from where they had been on Voss months ago. This was Joza. One time ally, and a mother.

"You can't help him, Joza. That's why you're here. Isn't it. You're protecting him. He must pay for what he has done - you of all people know how justice must be served.”
