New Card Types Introduced
Developed as one of the structure decks for the new expansion to Age of Chaos, Sentinels of Sullust is a structure deck created by Galactic Illusionary Gaming that is heavily inspired by another class of Jedi that are guardians of worlds and sectors against the darkness: the Sentinels. The deck is centered around perhaps the most famous Jedi Sentinel in the galaxy,
Coren Starchaser
, and has a large focus on his past efforts in leading the Sentinels of the previous Galactic Alliance from the world of Sullust. Included in the deck are a few Force users connected to the Jedi Master, such as his wife
Celeste Rigel
, or Masters that served with him in the previous Alliance such as Jacen Voidstalker and
Cotan Sar'andor
as Legacy cards. The supporting Jedi cards in the deck are all drawn from the Sentinel class, with most of them having the Force Resistance ability to protect themselves from opposing Force Power abilities and Action cards and either the Defender keyword ability or one of two strike keyword abilities with Swift Strike or Deadly Strike.
Because of his strong connection to Sullust, and leading his own personal squad of soldiers known as the Tiburons, the deck also includes Sullust as a Planet card along with several Tiburon inspired cards that gain bonuses if Coren is on the field. Additionally, the deck also comes with several Starfighter cards to reflect the piloting skills of the Tiburons and the Jedi Master. Lastly, a Iconic Location card based on the Sentinel Temple on Sullust is included that further enhanced Forceful Being cards on your field with a keyword ability.
