Description: The Sentinel-series Utility Belt is the very definition of the word "utility." By combining components of your average utility belt with the ruggedness and innovation of the Rebel Alliance, you get this product. The Sentinel-series belt was created with an all-purpose, lightweight belt for use by every member of the Alliance. They're nifty, have a few nice gadgets on 'em, and boast a small plethora of other survival necessities.

The first components of the belt are its survival attributes. All belts come standard issue with three standard days worth of rations, three water packs, three ion flares, two medpacs, and a spare comlink. These items are necessary should an engagement last longer than expected or if a rebel is MIA and lacks logistical support. They're bare essentials to keep a rebel alive and kicking, with most other advanced equipment and consumables being found in a backpack or larger mobile storage area.

Quite possibly the most important addition to this unique belt is its Military Mobility Shield. Through various contacts with the galactic black market and other resistance groups, the Rebel Alliance has acquired a vast supply of these devices and its imperative to wearer survival. These shields can sustain up to fifty heavy energy blasts before failing, though it takes an entire minute for the shields to fully recharge. During this minute, the wearer is completely vulnerable to energy-based attacks. This shield is located on the back of the belt.

The ammunition storage pouches are placed around the belt in a square-ish design to help displace the weight of them. Each easily-reachable pouch is able to be filled by a single blaster pack or a magazine for a slugthrower.

The last components are the holster, the combat de-ionizer, the high tension wire, grappling hooks, and the thermal detonator. The holster is fairly self-explanatory and is capable of holding most sidearms through an adjustable strap and can be fitted to either side of the weaer. The combat de-ionizer is a small metallic device suited to counteracting the effects of ionic energy, helping dissipate damage from EMPs and ion-based weaponry. The wire and pair of grappling hooks are for a variety of tasks, from scaling a wall to nabbing that dame that just walked past you. And lastly is the Baradium-core code key thermal detonator, a fairly powerful explosive device with a key code known only to the wearer, which is a safeguard that prevents the use of it by hostile forces.

All in all, the Sentinel-series Utility Belt is a rugged, reliable, and fairly modular utility belt crafted to get the job done and keep the rebels rebellin'. The only major component of it is the small shield located near the back, but it's an otherwise simple belt with minimal electronics and complicated tech.
