  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Sellia II
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: The Sellites
  • Classification: Religious Cult
  • Affiliation: Galactic Alliance
  • Organization Symbol: No official symbol is held by the Sellites, but they identify with symbolism from the Old Republic, as well as anything from the Grand Army of the Republic.
  • Description: A reclusive people who descend from human settlers that established themselves on Sellia II in 20 BBY. They hold GAR memorabilia and military doctrine to be sacred, gifts left behind by the defector who lead them to their home. They hold this Clone, referred to in life as Arko, as a deity figure. The Jedi are also held in a high level of respect.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Unnamed Settlement, Sellia II
  • Domain: Sellia II
  • Notable Assets: N/A
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: Hierarchy in the Sellites is a chiefdom system, with military ranks used to symbolize status. The chief, referred to as "General," leads, rising to the rank through years of experience, trials of combat, and displays of wisdom and 'brotherhood.'
  • Membership: One must be born into the Sellites to join, with rare exception ever being made. OOC, joining would be through creating a new character that originates from the Sellites or having a Fett Clone character, whom the Sellites hold in high regard.
  • Climate: Isolationist, but not hostile. The Sellites do not seek aggression, but are more than willing to fend off any attackers. They are fully capable of forming friendships, so long as their way of life is not disturbed. The group itself is tight-knit, with an emphasis on kinship and comradery, very much reminiscent of military brotherhood. They hold Clone Trooper helmets in the highest regard, and they refuse to take them off in the presence of outsiders.
  • Reputation: Unknown by the public to most. The Prov Godoans of Ord Providence see them as estranged younger siblings, enough to protect the Sellite's wishes. Jedi who frequent Sellia II's Praxeum remain respectful of their beliefs, allowing their warriors to 'defend' their temple.
  • Curios: Clone Trooper Helmets.
  • Rules: GAR military doctrine, mimicking living arrangements, training regiments, and even scheduling down to a T. Rank must be earned through merit, and one's helmet must never be removed in the presence of outsiders.
  • Goals: To keep up the traditions of their deified founder's military roots.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Sellites are the descendants of human settlers that fled the Clone Wars in 20 BBY, lead by a clone deserter named Arko. Upon settling the moon of Sellia II, Arko passed on his knowledge of GAR regiment, gifting them stolen clone armor and other material that would later become sacred for the Sellites. Brief contact with the Godoan Settlers of Ord Providence in 4 ABY would allow for their isolation to be kept, which left the Sellites free to mold their society into one of devout replication of the Grand Army of the Republic. In 722 ABY, the oligarchical council of Ord Providence allowed the Jedi Order to construct a Praxeum on the moon, whom the Sellites welcomed eagerly. Seeing the Jedi as the ancient inheritors of Arko's protection, the Sellites dedicated themselves to protecting their temple, holding such a task to a high religious significance.
