Lets see if you can hold true. <3 Let me know when you want a big foe for your story. Krest fits that bill pretty well for most.

I don't mind beginning with Krest to be honest, it will only build character if he comes out of it alive. I don't want to force the story though, so maybe beginning with his student would be wiser. After all, Krest realistically wouldn't have cause to look twice at some untrained Jedi.

You'd be surprised. Krest tends to go out of his way with Padawans to try and recruit them to the Sith. Their first meeting would probably be Krest lending Eli a hand and teaching him a trick or two of the Force to try and sway him nonviolently to the dark side.
