"I too shall pay for my sins in time. That time, however, has not yet come."
-- Sedith Dinn, 4529th Year After Liberation

"All along the deserts of Kinyov, princes kept the view.

All the women came and went; barefoot servants too.
Outside in the cold distance, a mynock did growl.
Two pilots were approaching.

The wind began to howl."
-- Ancient Navarrist Prophecy

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
[+] Guerrila Fighter
Sedith is moderately capable with a variety of common skills required for guerrilla warfare such as flying, driving, shooting, field medicine, slicing and hand-to-hand combat but suffers from a lack of mastery or expertise in any particular martial field.
[+] Learned
Not inherently gifted with any extraordinary intelligence, Sedith instead shows remarkable determination to learn and better himself with knowledge. This is best scene in his academic career where he received an education in politics, social sciences, the arts, and history.
[+] Ascetic
From birth, Sedith was raised by the brothers of his monastic order to resist pain, hunger, thirst, indulgence, and even mental intrusions. This lifestyle has shaped him so totally that it dominates his psyche.
[+] Master Kineticist
A highly trained user of Lorrdian kinetic-based communication, his ability to read and reproduce body language was almost mystical. In addition to the common abilities of near-empathic information gathering on a subject and complete mimicry, Sedith utilized a particular mastery over his bodily functions to create subtle falsehoods at-will; sweat to indicate falsehood, dialation of his pupils to indicate interest, salivation to indicate hunger, and so on.

[-] Secretive
The only person that one can be trust is one's self, secrets, after all, are the true currency of the galaxy. Sedith goes at great lengths to keep his secrets hidden, even - ultimately - from himself. Of his confidants, the only other individuals that can be trusted on a more case-by-case basis are other members of his Brotherhood.
[-] Lesai Addict
Sedith is addicted to a purplish mold that he applies daily known as Lesai. This stimulant, beyond simply being highly addictive, enabled humans to go entirely without sleep and instead dedicate that time to other aspects of daily life. Without it, he would begin to experience immediate symptoms of withdrawal and risk death should he go entirely cold turkey.
[-] Indignant
Once his favor is lost, it is never regained; when wronged, he will remain bitter till the very end. Forgiveness is a foreign concept, there is only reparation.
[-] Headstrong
There are a number of ways that any particular thing can be done, after a lifetime of training that reinforced a strong sense of willfulness, his way is always the preferred way.

APPEARANCE:
Characterized best by a disarming smile and soft eyes, Sedith was a swarthy-skinned Lorrdian man of athletic build. His hair was dark brown in color, short, and zealously maintained to suppress an aggressive case of premature graying. His eyes were light brown and offered observers a narrative that - in concert with the aforementioned hair - spoke of a plain man, of modesty and simplicity; uncomplicated and unremarkable. He stood at the height of 5'8 with an alert posture that spoke of a disciplined, laborious upbringing. His skin was well-weathered, complete with crow's feet and mundane signs of aging that he did his best to stave off with all manner of fair smelling lotions, oils, and tinctures. About him wafted the scent of a distinctly Nabooian perfume that smelt of wood, vanilla, and earthy musk.

BIOGRAPHY:
Sedith-and-Denrid Kabor-Dinn, better known as Sedith Dinn, was a Lorrdian politician from the Kinyov province, nicknamed 'The Kinyovian Knockout' and 'The Terror in Teal' after having filibustered for so long that the opposition fell asleep.

Raised as a Vianist of the Navarrist sect - an ancient denomination that emerged amidst the Kanz Disorders - Sedith placed particular importance on self-sacrifice and held a consequentialist philosophy of moralistic altruism. Though unheard of in modern Navarrist circles, the families of Kabor and Dinn were under ancient oath to give their male offspring to the now secret society of religious defenders known as the Brotherhood of the Scarlet Sacrament; an ancient monastic order dedicated to the preservation of Lorrd, its people, and their way of life. The entirety of Sedith's childhood would be spent with this organization and he underwent extensive mental and physical training designed to shape him into a soldier of Via and of their tutelar; Navarr.

Resolute and confident, Sedith had made a name for himself among the political spheres of Lorrd during his academic tenure at Lorrd University, where he studied pan-galactic cultural trends and received his doctorate in xenosociology, by writing a number of papers that managed to get into peer reviewed journals. By the time of his graduation, he was most known for publishing an ethnography on modern Lorrdian culture and a article advocating for a paradigm shift towards social ownership of the means of production where he cited the unequivocal successes of the Kinyen model. During the Imperialization of Lorrd in 850 ABY, he retracted his claims and publicly supported Imperialization to remain within the graces of the Empire and keep his job in the municipal government of Qatamer while privately doing all he could to preserve Lorrdian culture as the entire planet transitioned into an autocratic dictatorship under the first Prelate of Lorrd.

With the culture his people had fought to protect facing extinction and him lacking the true power to do anything major about it, Sedith thrust himself into the higher echelons of this new regime by using the skills of his brotherhood and the knowledge of his academic career to carve out a position for himself as the foremost clerk to the Lorrdian Prelate where he remained till 860 ABY. It was in that year that the Prelate piloted his own shuttle directly into the Lorrdian sun, claiming on planet-wide broadcast that a powerful Sith was growing beneath his skin and that only by bathing in holy fire would the Sith arise, glorious and resplendent, to serve the will of the Emperor. Unbeknownst to the public, the Prelate had suffered guided hallucinations caused by the over-consumption of mnemiotic drugs that Sedith had supplied. Following the Prelate's dramatic end, Sedith was appointed his successor and headed an investigation into the Prelate's slow descent into maddness, eventually uncovering a trafficking network he himself had planted that was headed by a Balosar he donned the guise of in his dealings with the Prelate. With all loose ends tied, no bodies to be found, and all memories of his involvement shunted to a hidden cortical datasplint, Sedith began his term as the second Prelate of Lorrd.
