SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Carefully protected seal, allowing it to sustain itself in war.
  • Imparts a defensive aura onto the wearer, giving them the protection of the Sith.
  • Upon death, can impart a bastardized version of the 'zombie' spell onto the wearer, turning them into a zombie at the cost of efficiency and skill.
STRENGTHS
  • Protection of the Emperor -
    • Carrying certain magicks that impart a defensive cohesion to the wearer, the Seal of Nadasja is capable of amplifying existing protections at a very low cost. For cultists this can mean their cloth armor could protect against a few rounds of blaster fire before failing. For more well armored soldiers, it can amplify their defensive structures significantly, making stalwart armor able to resist much more damage before failure.
  • Service in Death -
    • The more specific purpose of the Seal of Nadasja is to automatically raise the loyal servants of the Empire back to life upon death. While the damage can not be undone, the dead legions of the Empire are capable of firing their weapons with a slightly worsened ability - limited only by the damage they had sustained in life. This makes the effective fighting force of armies carrying this seal to nearly double.
WEAKNESSES
  • Faith Based Defenses -
    • While the Seal does impart some magic upon the wearer in a defensive nature, it is fully a victim to the zealotry one feeds it. The more one surrenders themselves to the dogmatic propaganda of the Sith, the more it can protect - but at the cost of their souls, their energy, and eventually even their life. The Seal gets its power by slowly pulling the health from its wearer, without their own knowing.
  • Dead Walking -
    • Allowing for the further operation of soldiers even in death, the spell is a relatively 'mass produced' variant of the more notable spell utilized by Darth Addendu. This means the victim is unable to spread the disease to others - and only has a certain sustained lifespan before they fall once more to simple attrition and time. This significantly reduces the efficacy of the spell, but allows for it to operate at a far higher rate.
DESCRIPTION

With the rise of the Sith Order and its Imperium, so too came a massive incursion of zealous cults worshipping the very existence of the Sith. Notable intellectuals would mark that this was an obvious means of instilling dogmatic loyalty to the Empire within the vulnerable populations; but their concerns were quickly dismissed for two reasons. The first was that violence came swiftly on any doubt to the Sith's strength - driving intellectuals deep into hiding. Second, was that the Sith began to offer their strength to the general population in the form of seals, artifacts, and the Church.
One of these were the Sith Seals, created by the Ecclesiarchy for the express purpose of rewarding those with great faith in the Empire and the Sith. These seals, publically, offered great protection from the enemies of the Imperium, pulling from the strength of their faith to give them a metaphysical protection far outside the boundaries of armor or shields. Realistically, they drew upon their very health to impart that defense - intended to only be warn for short periods of conflict before being removed. Secondly, they gave a final rite to the soldiers of the Order, giving them a chance to serve even in death as zombification allows them to continue to fight for a prolonged period time.
These things allow the soldiers to fight with great zeal, imparting further loyalty and faith in their comrades, and rewarded further for duty. Built with protection in mind, the Seals are manufactured with a variety of materials that make them extremely hard to destroy in combat, making them relatively safe from a variety of elements in the midst of combat - though notably not immune. Operating as a neo-medal in the service of the Empire, the Seals are seen with a great reverence - raising the moral of all those that wear them and near those who have earned the right.
