- Travel: Designed for stations and temples to connect them and allow quicker travel than shuttle.
- Self Repairing: Designed with the material, the self repairing and maintaining capabilities of the equipment are there to handle the stresses from everyday use.
- Range: A better range to a point, the original technololgy was shorter but strong enough to penetrate rock and connect through obstructions. The advanced and more stable model has longer range in an open area.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Self Repairing: Built with a the ability but depending on the amount of damage done it can take moments like with stresses from use or weeks if highly damaged.
- Obstructions: Designed unlike the original model it was reverse engineered from. It doesn't do well connecting through obscruction that is dense packed together. A roof for a small distance is one thing.. a mountain is another.
Designed by Sasori as a better means of travel. Between stations and the surface of a planet. In this case the ability to go from their larger stations down to the world without the need or risk fo shuttles. Their exotic advancement facilities that study technologies of variuous species in the galaxy that have been older than many of the others gave them plenty of ideas of what they would be able to do. IN this case a fixed warping gate between a station and planet usually the jedi temple which will allow them to move without alerting others. FOr larger stations it can allow movement without having to organize massive forces in emergency situations. Sasori has worked on the development time of it and using different things they have made to allow accelerated testing and research in the bubble of the lost using the time dilation of it so they can achieve years of research in less standard time. THe teleportal compared to other teleportation technologies different in how it is more fixed location rather than able to be moved. THe distance being another factor as this was made to go up into orbit rather then down through rock and metal. It makes the connection able to be used longer distances but with heavy obstructions like a mountain or ships in the middle it can't function.
