Designed by the Celestial Forge to function for the jedi and the Commonwealth with some making it to the Denon Defense forces who contract with Sasori. Krass looking at the design of the multitool and giving it a more beefy upgrade that the forge would allow the construction efforts of their engineers to progress in the reconstruction efforts... but it would also if they needed to be able to defend themselves. The old tales of Jorus using a beskar shotgun to hobble some sith also helped in many ways when Krass was designing it to give the jedi's technical division an edge. Krass has worked to develop others aspects like the casing and the tools themselves adding the Sasori standard and allowing them to be as advanced as they are able to push the technology.
