Name: Sarah 'the Serene' Vhalorious, Knight of the Jedi Order.
Loyalties: [member="Thrand Dawnbringer"], [member="Thyrian Ashborn"] & [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]
Role: Mother of [member="Thyrian Ashborn"] & [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]; wife of [member="Thrand Dawnbringer"].
Age: 32 GSY (dead for 27 years)
Species: Human.
Force-Sensitive: Yes; equivalent to that of a high-level Jedi Knight.
Appearance: Her hair golden and with eyes of emerald, she wore herself with perfect grace as if highborn. Once a Knight of the Order, she retired her Jedi robes when she fell in love with the Valkyri Prince-in-exile, and would often be seen donning various common clothing.
Personality: As kindhearted and graceful as can be, Sarah was brought up from birth by the Jedi Order and was taught all mannerisms typical of their way of life. She thought herself a traditionalist, raised to believe love was corruptive and one of many paths to the Dark Side. She was ultimately proven wrong when meeting her future husband for the first time.
Weapon of Choice: Lightsaber; the Force.
Wealth: None.
Combat Function: A former Jedi Knight, Sarah maintained her connection to the Force after leaving the Order through meditation and daily training. Her lightsaber remained at her side until her death, and she was one of the best fencers in her class.
Skills: Sarah would mostly focus on the more basic Force Powers, leaving herself open to further master the art of the lightsaber. She was more of a frontline fighter rather than a mentalist.
Notable Possessions: Her lightsaber and her old Jedi robes.

Other Notes:

Born to a couple living on Alderaan, Sarah never knew her parents. She was handed over to the Jedi Order while still a toddler and was raised collectively by them, thereby learning the basics of how Jedi would act in certain situations before many of her fellow initiates would. A model student in all aspects, yet she was never smug about it nor did she display any sort of pride over it. In her teens, she took to the art of the lightsaber with ease, effortlessly beating all her opponents and garnering the attention of many a Jedi Masters. She was eventually taken on by Jedi Master Gared Valaar, a grizzled veteran who'd lived through many wars and hardships in his life as a Jedi. He'd earned the respect of his peers through his dutiful performance and unyielding loyalty to the Order.

The two became fast friends, creating a father-daughter relationship as they travelled the stars, going on adventures and fighting a plethora of battles as allies of the Galactic Republic. Many years later, at age 23, Sarah was finally promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight after having served faithfully at her master's side. She immediately started looking amongst the many eager initiates for someone to take on as her padawan. She found one in a young boy who's name was Erec Iscaard, who much like her had distinguished himself in fencing tournaments. He was brash, almost arrogant in the way he'd overestimate his abilities, yet well-meaning all the same. Like her master and she would in her youth, Sarah and Erec went on many adventures together, and at the time it seemed that the young padawan would shape into a fine Jedi Knight.

However, on a mission taking the two deep behind enemy lines on Dromund Kaas, capital of the former Sith Empire, Erec was captured by the Sith and successfully turned to the Dark Side. Forced to kill her own apprentice in order to escape, Sarah returned to Tython a broken woman, thinking she'd failed as a Jedi. She was all but ready to hand over her lightsaber when the now-elderly Master Valaar convinced her otherwise; that it was Erec who'd failed, and not her. Her spirit broken but not beaten, she regained faith in herself and proceeded to focus on honing her own skills rather than take on another padawan right away.

Years later, she remained at her master's side during the end of his days, and when he passed away from old age she held his hand. The person closest to her was now gone, yet she did not mourn his passing. He was One with the Force now, and would be with her always. At peace with herself, it was not long after that she stumbled upon the man who would steal her heart. The hulking man introduced himself as Thrand Dawnbringer, a Valkyr from planet Midvinter, and it didn't take long for her to grow enamoured with his culture and history. The two fell in love and she resigned from the Jedi Order, now focused solely on raising a family with her husband-to-be. They got married on Tython before the members of the Order who conducted the ceremony as thanks for her many years in service to the Jedi and the Republic.

They settled on planet Pelagon, where they had their firstborn. 'Thyrian' they named him, and for the next five years they lived happily together, with Thrand finding work as a construction worker and Sarah as a doctor at the local hospital. When they were trying for another child, she got pregnant with a second baby boy. During childbirth, however, complications arose and her body failed to cope with the hardship a second time. The baby was eventually born conventionally, but not without Sarah's vitals dropping rapidly. Only able to hold her newborn and giving him his name, she passed away soon after with her husband and five-year-old son at her side. In becoming One with the Force she rejoined her old master, who greeted her with open arms.
