Runi nodded to
Dreidi Xeraic
for her thoughts. The galaxy was always changing. Sometimes for the worst, but that only gave rise to some of its best in response. A dangerous game that could lead to the ruin of all, but the only thing any one person could do was their part; and have faith in the Manda that the whole would be served.
Rowan Drysi
, however, had a question for the Shaman, which stilled her from turning from the group. How should she answer?
"That is a long story." Runi actually chuckled as a reminiscent smile graced her lips.
"Our people were suffering. I could see it in their eyes. Hear it in their words. Feel it in their hands. So, I listened. To their stories. Their pain. From there I gathered them and we worked together to bring stability back. Not to the galaxy, but to one another. From that moment we carried that same purpose out to whomever we could."
She stepped over to lay a hand on Rowan's shoulder.
"You will know it. Maybe not right away, swept up in the moment, but when you take the time to breathe, look around, and reflect you will realize that you do not regret a moment spent toward that purpose. A calling does not have a voice of its own, but you answer its call when it arrives all the same. Live. Explore. And if you require any help, I can arrange for new experiences." Not all of them would be pleasant, but that was sometimes how you discovered a calling. Runi, for instance, did not enjoy pottery.
As they collectively made to relocate,
Torva Vikar
addressed them. Runi peered back at the apologetic woman; their pace was by no means rushed, and it remain easy to speak casually as they moved.
"Good. And as your Spiritual Guide I will tell you all now there is no singular answer to your question. But," her voice rose slightly and Runi paused in speaking for just a second,
"there are shared cultural and philosophical beliefs. Many Clans, but one People. One Manda. Focus on our similarities in honor, duty, preparedness, and strength in more than just the physical." The latter one not everyone ascribed to, but it was Runi's personal pursuit to help the Clans recognize strength in mind, heart, and soul were equally as important as knowing how to wield every blaster in the galaxy.
"What does being Mandalorian mean to you?" Runi put to the group, curious if any had their own understanding of who or what they were as a people.
