After a devastating attack on the PLANET CRINA, The brave men and women of the IMPERIAL REMNANT flee in panic against the ONE SITH onslaught! Shattered and routed, the survivors struggle to regroup with their beloved Empress on the PLANET of VJUN; a dark planet of acid rains and treacherous jungles! It is Here that EMPRESS FEL awaits her loyal forces alongside the frightened refugees of Crine; offering them hope and strength in this time of terror.
BUT, little do they know, the devious SITH have hired a brutish band of mercenaries who have tracked her movements and lie in wait to destroy the IMPERIAL REMNANT once and for all...

The bridge of The Heart of Crina turned red with alarms as the Imperial fleet's forward scouts dropped from Hypersapce into the Vjun System. Throwing his weight into the command console, Corvinus's eyes strained to make sense of the readouts.

"Impossible, I would have sensed this." A cloud of red dots consumed space ahead of the fleet's position on the radar, forming a red arrow that was cutting a path directly towards them. How many were there? Dozens? Hundreds? There was no way to be sure with so much activity on the sensors. It had to be a fighter screen hiding their capital ship numbers, but even then how many ships would it take to carry a swarm of fighters that massive?

"This must be a trick, the Sith couldn't possibly have rallied a force that size and still beat us here!" Captain Relok said, his knuckles turning red around the datapad in his clutch. No this was no trick. Corvinus could feel them in the distance, their heartsbeating deep within metal skeletons.

Standing away from the monitor to meet Relok's gaze, Corvinus presented a stone face to his subordinate "Captain, deploy all TIE squadrons immediately and prepare all weapons for battle. I want all of our Stormtroopers planet-side immediately to find the Empresses ship!"

"But sir the enemy is too powerful, we should-

Waving his hand, Corvinus starred daggers at the captain "You will have no say in this matter. The Empress is all that is holding the morale of our people together, if she dies then we have lost. I will not have our Empire crushed so easily"

The captain's body tensed and his eyebrows flared, but all orders were to be obeyed. "At once, sir!"

As Relok shot across the bridge and began sending his men to work, Corvinus turned to the comms; his fingers dancing across the panel. Before long, the shimmering forms of [member="Aurna Vern"] and [member="Alva Calvarona"] materialized before him on the bridge. Their ships were waiting on the edge of the system for the report and they would need to advance soon if Palpatine hoped to win this battle.

"Miss Vern, Miss Calvarona; my scouting party has encountered a large resistance and there is no sign of the Empresse's ship. I am deploying my forces for battle and sending a detachment of stormtroopers to search the planet for her highness's signal."

Deep inside the belly of the Destroyer the storm corp had found a temporary home.

The Barracks was piled up by troopers tending their wounds, fixing and adjusting their worn gear. The recent Battle at Crina had been a costly one. The Storm Corp was to a certain degree not fully functioning but command had issued quick instructions putting together operating platoons in order for the storm commandos to be deployed on short notice just in case their situation got worse. A wise decission it seemed as things did just that.

Weiss had his feet on the table, he had been put in charge of the 337th platoon until further notice. In the midst of the platoon he was balancing his chair on two legs as he tried to polish his helmet. It wore blood stains and had several dents from recent events. Then the com sounded alert.

"the 3rd Battallion report to shuttle bay for immideate deployment. The 3rd Battallion report to shuttle bay for immideate deployment!"

Weiss lifted an eyebrow. Already... he shrugged and let the chair fall down with a slam.

"Alright you pitiful excuses! We are not here to nap! Get your gear together on the double, I want the 337th to be the first platoon on those shuttles! he roared across the room to the storm troopers in his command. These men had just arrived from the Crinan battle. They had not had any time to polish their gear and looked a bit rugged. But it was just momentarily Weiss knew. They had survived the onslaught of sith assassins, having their minds penetrated by a sith lord and blasted their way through ranks of OS sith troopers. The things they had seen and endured. These were among the toughest bad ass troopers one could find in the galaxy. Weiss grinned and hauled his helmet on, preparing to take point for his platoon toward the awaiting shuttle.

With the alarm going of all over the ship the platoon hurried down the corridors exiting into the giant hangar room. Pilots were rushing past, preparing their ships, Tie-Fighters taking of and leaving in squadrons. Despite that this was a severwely diminished force, it was an impressive sight and empowered the storm troopers morale. In stern lines the troopers moved on into their awaiting rides. Outside distant flashes of light told them that the fleet was engaging hostiles.

No one really knew what was going on but the platoon settled in inside their designated lambda shuttle while Weiss rushed forth to the officers grouping up just outside. The Storm Corp Major gave them all instructions on their primary objectives and as they finished Weiss turned on his heels and rushed back to the shuttle whos pilot already was firing up the engines.

I will have to brief them on the way down he decided and strapped himself to a seat and turned on the com.

"Alright Shuttle Y-33E, the 337th is loaded. Take us down." he instructed the pilots.

The shuttle soon left the hangars along with the others. The small fleet of Lambda shuttles soon breached the athmosphere and headed straight to the designated landing area. the Vjun harsh environment started to spread out beneath them.'

As soon as the shuttle had landed the stormtroopers rushed out.

"Secure the landing site! Squad leaders report!" Weiss ordered and grabbed his rifle as the platoon rushed out forming a protective circle around teh shuttle. This did not look like the most friendly place to be at...

"Alva your ok!" She said looking at the other shimmering figure. " Send your combat orders to my ship, and the droids will carry them out, Sir. I will just sit tight I don't have any combat experience." She was already typing the commands to send a message to [member="Alva Calvarona"]. She only really was here because of that woman. This on the run business was hard and she had been dragged into it somehow. She didn't know her place in it all, the girlfriend of the Princess of Crina who happened to be the CEO of a company. She had ideas.. if they couldn't find a planet to inhabit.. she could even hold the refugee's on Wren'goa station.. it would be tight but well it was better than nothing. She took a deep breath and gave the commands to put the Nike at [member="Corvinus Palpatine"]'s disposal. She really hated being in the middle of the war. What should she do? Well she knew she would have to help Alva.. no matter what she didn't want to see her loved one die. So here she was ready to take on the galaxy. At least till there was a moment to do something more that was. Supplies and building, that was what she could do.

Artificial Intelligence
[member="Corvinus Palpatine"]

"Organic, the Galactic Intelligence Services have noted the recent invasion of Crina by the One Sith, and the subsequent retreat, While I only note it for my watchful eye on one [member="Aurna Vern"], I will make my self to your use and I will begin electronic warfare on your order."

She said as the stealth ship began spotting targets and noting where to strike. This was something she hadn't done for a long time. Oh it would be nice to help a cause again. Finally she had found one that aligned with her masters. Yes, this would work indeed. She began preparing her sub routines and preparing for the fun that was riding the world of enemy organics. With the recent change in her programing only Aurna Vern and her allies were the only ones safe in all reality. Surely that would be fixed soon enough should they install her in their intelligence services.

The targets were primed and now all she needed was permission to unleash cybernetic hell on the foes of the Imperial Remnant. After all that was her specialty, helping organics and punishing their enemies. She wished she had human agents but well it would be good enough to just her for now. Hopefully the Imperial Remanent would request Aurna Vern to commission her for the faction if she proved her worth. After all her whole goal was to provide an organic group with intelligence services.

Black-clad and stoic, the reborn Mirus Hi'ija knew that his service to the Imperial Remnant was a vast departure from everything he was. In his new body he was still adjusting, being about the same height but bulkier - like his first life, really. Now he was almost back to where he was, but donning the colour teal, not crimson, as his mantle of choice. It was a good look. He didn't mind it, even with darker skin and the dragon's fangs tattoo curling around his left eye. Fearsome, perhaps. He looked the tribal warrior that he once was. Did it fit the ideals of High Imperial Culture, of the New Order? Perhaps not.

But they had welcomed him - as a true Master of the Force, as a political power. Centuries of experience had taught him plenty and in his hidden age of over six hundred years, he knew enough to play the game... and how to hide the fact he'd been playing the game for long enough.

His armour was a modified version of storm commando armour; black and trimmed with silver, he looked like a warrior. His lightsaber, an eternally familiar friend, rode on his hip, its onyx-crafted hilt meshing with his custom battle armour well. As the turbolift to the bridge of the Heart of Crina opened to reveal his form, he walked forward - though nobody nodded to acknowledge his situation, the Knight Baron and overall Grand Moff and their senior commanding officer already here. One did not offer protocol and courtesy while a higher rank was already present.

Mirus approached [member="Corvinus Palpatine"]'s side, hands folding behind his back as his gauntlets clasped together, even as he engaged in conference with the senior leadership of the Remnant.

"Grand Moff," he said quietly in his bass rumble, nodding his head. "Troop transports are currently loading for deployment. The stormtrooper corps are currently launching to the planet's surface."

His eyes, modified by Alchemy to be an incredibly unholy and glowing shade of blue, turned to the senior warrior. He awaited orders, silently; while he was a Moff and Imperial Knight in his own right to command an entire sector and Legion if need be, it was not his command, not his place. This was Corvinus' battlefield and prerogative.

Meanwhile, on an unmarked ship nearby...

Alcastor, an astromech nicknamed "Charlie" and a protocol droid nicknamed "Alan" were bickering on where the hell to go... Alcastor wanted to go to Crina, while the other two wanted to go to Endor. Neither of them won the argument, so to speak.

There was a flick of a lighter followed by the sizzle of a cigarette being ignited and inhaled. Dressed in a fine black suit the son of Kaine Zambrano, well one of the many sons of Kaine Zambrano, was standing on the bridge of the flagship with Corvinus and whoever the hell that other loser was. One might ask why was slade son of a dark lord of the sith, one of the men who brought death and slavery to Crina be standing here with the enemy? Well simple answer really, Slade hated his father. He hated him to the point of running off with the enemy just to try and spite him, this of course would never work since Kaine never knew what love was and never really cared about his son. But he'd give it a shot anyway.

"Does anyone besides me think this is a trap? But I mean hey let's just walk right into it, that always works out." he said in a almost snarky tone.

Slade took another long drag from his cigarette and exhaled grey smoke from his lungs. Taking the little cancer stick he flicked some ash onto the floor and sighed afterwards, this situation was not really as good as it could be. And well slade barely knew anything about the force or even how to fight, he barely knew anything on how to wield a lightsaber. The best thing he could do to the enemy was tell them how tacky they were dressed then blow smoke in their face.

But there was no need for his new imperial friends to know that.

Outer Rim Territories, the Sith Worlds.
Nuiri Sector.
Vjun system, Vjun.

Alicia Drey wore a light cloak, with the hood drawn over her head. It was almost transparent, so you could still see the strands of thick blonde hair beneath the cowl of her cloak. A lot has transpired in the intervening weeks since she had met with Eobarda Tarkin on board the Apex. What had been a promising return for the descendants of Palpatine's Empire had turned into waning resolve to restore the tenants of the New Order. The One Sith had come and taken Crina away from the Imperial Remnant, forcing the Empire to go into exile.

She also found it ironic that it would be Vjun, a world close to where the Sith had begun their crusades, was where the remnants of the Imperial navy converged. In their eyes, she was a civilian that was unfortunate to find herself in the middle of a conflict. Her presence on the Star Destroyer was nothing more than sheer circumstance.

Patience. That would be the name of her game. Alicia would stand by on one of the observation decks, watching the Vjun and the newest conflict that had been brought to the Empire in Exile. It was make or break time. The Battle of Crina had been a disaster. The Battle of Vjun could be an extinction event, nailing the final proverbial nail in the Imperial Remnant. Would they survive?

Alva stared at the holographic representation of Corvinus Palpatine and Admiral Tarkin as she moved finish donning her flight suit, her eyes lingering on them both intently, especially once Mirus Hi'ja entered the feed displaying Corvinus. Those were two very powerful men, and she didn't just mean by their positions. The time she had briefly gotten to meet both of them she could feel from the force her own increasing power was still dwarfed by the vast strength the pair of high tier officials wielded at their disposal. The fact they were supporting the Remnant made the woman no longer with a free homeworld much happier about their chances at retaliating. The Galaxy was in far too much a state of disarray and the Empire rising once more to put Order in place was certainly much needed.

"The 181st will move to intercept and engage the enemy fighter and bomber squadrons and give the fleet a better grasp of what has been deployed against us. The Admiral can coordinate our remaining capital ships to crush them at that point." Picking up her comm unit, Alva moved out into the hanger where the rest of the 181st Imperial Fighter Wing was climbing into their TIE units to launch from the carrier. Moving up the ladder of her own TIE Seeker, the young Calvarona dropped into her cockpit and began to run her hands across the controls, her instrument board lighting up as its systems came online and after a few minutes the Imperial Elite fighter was revved up and ready for launch. "Shockwave Squadron is on me for this sortie. Hound and Kestral will be taking our flanks and Shadow will bring up the rear. Everyone else will hang in reserve around the carrier for deployment in trouble zones."

Once again, the claxons bared as Jericho was relaxing in his bunk. He had just gotten done with a squadron workout and then showered before laying down. He was supposed to be on standby for sorties when they arrived at Vjun. The claxons interrupted his rest however, and he was instantly up and donning his readied flightsuit. In an action that seemed eerily familiar, Jericho grabbed and holstered his sidearm, then grabbed and donned his helmet and jogged down the hall for the Seekers. As he climbed up into his fighter, he heard Alva speak.

Alva Calvarona said:
"Shockwave Squadron is on me for this sortie. Hound and Kestral will be taking our flanks and Shadow will bring up the rear. Everyone else will hang in reserve around the carrier for deployment in trouble zones."

"Kestral reads, squadron will be airborne in two minutes." He automatically started his flight prep as he checked his squadrons status. He flipped over to the squadron only channel. "Get a move on Jones, this isn't a picnic!" He yelled before returning to his own birds prep. The deck chief retracted the ladder and Jericho sealed his fighter up. In under two minutes his squadron was out in space and in formation. He saw Hound squadron launching a little ahead of him and moving toward the left flank, elative to the plane of the system, so he had Kestral move to the right flank. "Alright Kestrals, Flight one and two are on the ceiling spread. One hundred meters above the line. Flight three, you have the line, flight four you are fifty meters below. Keep your eyes peeled!"

"Crina attacked and taken, and I couldn't help with the defense..." Zee spoke to himself. It was something one did when they spent months alone roaming the galaxy in a freighter. He had heard fairly quickly about the rout at Crina and he had bought a new, clean freighter to travel to a rendezvous point he had heard about through a network the Imperial Knights had set up for the news gathering mission he and several others had been on. He knew that the Empress would be there with refugees and that the fleet would not be far behind.

He came out of hyper a few kilometers behind the scout elements of the fleet. He would show up as a neutral party on computer IFFs, but as soon as he cleared the hyperlimit, he set his communications unit to a specialized Imperial frequency.

"...ial ground troops are ordered to deploy. I repeat, Imperial starfighter squadrons are to deploy and engage elements of aggressor fleet. Imperial ground troops are ordered to deploy." The communications officer aboard the Heart of Crina was broadcasting to the ships in the fleet.

Ziebrecht was bereft of his custom armor and weapons, they had been left behind on Crina, but he did have his practice gear in the port cargo hold, which he used to continue training despite being on detached duty. He moved swiftly and gracefully from the pilots seat and over into the port cargo hold. He quickly donned what amounted to standard durasteel armor, he strapped on a durasteel hand-and-a-half sword to his back, a pair of shortswords to his hips and grabbed a rifle on his way back to the cockpit. Without sitting down, he piloted the freighter down below the plane of the system and turned back to aim at the planet. He watched the fleets collide above him as he went, waiting the minutes until he circumvented the enemy fleet so he could descend to the planet. Hopefully, no one would try coming after him.

To dissuade the Imperial fighters from attacking him, he nearly kicked himself for not thinking of it earlier, he broadcast a simple message on the Imperial Fleet channel.

"Knight Squire Eldari, reporting. I am skirting the battle and attempting to land on the service to provide assistance."

Scared. Was that right? No, it couldn't be right. Stormtroopers weren't allowed to be afraid. They were only allowed to be two things; dead or victorious but never scared. So what was this wrenching in his gut then? It sure as hell wasn't Imperial pride or the thrill of killing like his drill instructor said it would be. Craning his neck, Leon's nervously scanned the other troopers in the shuttle with him. They all stood straight as statues, the disguising grin on their helmets just as cold and prepared as they'd ever been.

Could they feel it too? Leon wondered, his eyes shifting to the ground at his feet. Do they know that I do? I can't just come out and ask them, what would they think of me? I'm supposed to be their teammate damnit, they need to rely on me!

"Hey kid, you are going to be fine" A robotic voice whispered under the screaming of the shuttle dropping through atmosphere. Turning, Leon's eyes bugged from his skull at the sight of the three command stripes engraved onto the chest plate of the man behind him. "Just keep your head down and stay next to me and these Sith won't know what hit em."

The officer's armored glove gripped Leon's shoulder. Even though he couldn't feel the reassuring squeeze through the thick plating, he felt safer. More secure. "Y-yes Sergeant Nance, I won't let you down I promise."

"Don't worry about that, worry about not getting your head blown off by some Sith Spit in a whole somewhere. Do that and I'll be happy rookie."

Leon was about to answer when the door at the front of the shuttle flew open and the load-master barged into the troop bay, his hand waving four fingers for everyone to see. "Forty seconds until contact. Forty-seconds!" he repeated as he walked down the line and back again. "Look sharp, Rookie."

Sergeant Nance knocked on the hollow of his helmet. So this was it. This was going to be his first mission as a trooper of the Empire. Gripping his gun close to his chest, his shaking hands rattled the weapon against his armor platting. Everything seemed to get quiet, even the screaming of the shuttle had stopped for a brief second in time as it banked for the ground. Airlocks released, filling the back of the bay with steam as the ramp unlocked from the sides of the ship.

"Hey Rookie, might want to charge your blaster."

"Wait, what?!"

Too late, the ramp hit the jungle floor and Leon was forced forward. Stumbling down the ramp, Leon had to use his hand to push propel himself out of the way of the stampeding troopers.

"Secure the landing zone! Squad leaders report!" That was Weiss's voice, he'd recognize that caliber of nerf herder anywhere! Throwing himself to his feet, Leon raised his rifle and began scanning the jungles. It was quiet, motionless. It could have been peaceful if it weren't for the dozens of landing craft and stormtroopers ruining the place.

"Kark, I knew I should have gone to college"

Location - in the djungle, planetside

As the platoon spread kneeling in the dense vegetation they were forming a circle around the lambda shuttle. Seconds later Weiss stepped ut of the same. He held his helmet under his arm and took a deep breath. He flipped on the com in his collar.

"Do you smell that boys? Take a deep breath, because you might as well get used to the scent of acid rain. the Moffs belives the Empress is here and if its good enough for her, it is sure as hell is good enough for you!"" Wiess chuckled and puffed the cigarr he had brought for the ride.

With that he took a few steps on the ramp, tossing the lit ciggar in front of him, crushing it beneath his steps as he brought the helmet on.

"Perimeter secured Sir." the squad leaders reported. Weiss nodded.

"Alright, listen up. Beta squad, stay with the shuttle and set up communication with the Heart. "

"Alpha, on me. Echo left flank, Delta right flank. Line formation. Move out!" and with that the three squads numbering 30 storm troopers started moving in three lines, with Weiss in the central one, alpha squad behind him. The jungle soon swallowed them, sticky moist air mixed with a vegetation that would put their endurance to a test they pushed forth, toward the coordinates given to them by command.

Corvinus nodded politely at Mirus as he took position at his side. The man had somehow taken a high position in the Remnant, despite his being a wretch trained in the trickery of the Dathomiri magic. Palpatine was still uncertain how he felt about that fact. Corvinus's dark blue cape danced in the air, coming to a delicate rest over the old man's arm as he turned to meet Mirus's gaze. There was something about those blue eyes. Those gems of blue hellfire that sent a cold hatred coursing through Corvinus's heart.

"Very good, Mirus. Descend to the surface with them and assist in the recovery of the Empress, we must not allow her to fall into enemy hands." The Empress was the key to reuniting the Remnant and that goal had to take precedent over everything else. Corvinus had no choice but to put his faith the Witch.

Turning back to the holographic figures he had summoned to the bridge, Corvinus listened to Alva and Aurna; taking note of their requests and plans. Then there was that peculiar A.I. Corvinus had never encountered such a device, even during his time with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It had a knack of showing up in the most unexpected situations, but if it was going to assist in the battle than Corvinus would not complain.

"I shall take command of all ships in the fleet and engage the enemy. Serenity, begin your attack on the enemy fleet. I'm sure you are quite capable of using our communications, I expect you to assist our forces and coordinate our fighters to coincide with your disruption of the enemy's technological capabilities."

About that time, Ziebrecht's voice came through the communication's array. Good, he was already on his way ground side. "It appears you will have company, Mirus. Make use of him." Corvinus pointed out as Slade made his way over from the corner of the room.

"Does anyone besides me think this is a trap? But I mean hey let's just walk right into it, that always works out." he mused, flicking ash from his cigarette.

The ash stopped in midair, twirling about in a small cyclone as if it caught in an invisible twister. Corvinus flicked his wrist in the young snob's direction and the hot ash shot back towards its owner, exploding across his face and preppy clothes. "You are far too confident in your own superiority Sith. Rest assured, you will learn respect and perhaps even crawl from the gutter of weakness you currently inhabit with those foolish Sith teachings of yours. Maybe you should accompany the others down to the planet's surface; you may learn something of value."

"Moff Palpatine, Sir!" Relok called from the control trench behind group of force users at the front of the bridge. "Sensors have begun picking up capital ships in the enemy fleet. They aren't registered our database but I've seen these types of signals before. I think they might be of Old Republic origins."

"Old Republic?" What in the galaxy was going on here? The Sith wouldn't be using such outdated vessels and this fleet was too large to simply be pirates. They had to have planned this, hired mercenaries or a small planetary government. "Are the long-range cannons operational?"

"Yes sir."

"Then it is time to destroy these foolish apes. All ships are to concentrate fire on the nearest enemy vessel. Notify all fighter squadrons to screen our fleet, if that cloud of fighters is full of bomber craft they can destroy us all."

"At once, sir!"

tumblr_ngcnygYhej1u2zagjo1_1280.jpg

Corvinus spun towards the view port, eyes locked on the horde of TIE fighters as they closed the distance between the Imperial Fleet and the approaching enemy fleet. The Star Destroyers of the Imperial Remnant began to line up in a standard arrow formation, the large destroyers forming the core as the frigates and corvettes lined the edges. Chatter between the ships littered the airwaves as the massive capital vessels coordinated movements and locked onto the targets in the distance.

"All long-range batteries locked, fire!" An ominous quiet fell over the ship for an eternal fraction of a second. Then, like the fires of Chaos unleashed, the black canvas of space was lit aflame by green streaks of turbo fire. The ship rocked steadily, each long-range canon firing in harmonic unison.

"Enemies are returning fire! Drain all non-essential power to shields and brace for impact!" The sensors officer announced over the ships closed comm red laser fire meshed with the green, creating a lightshow of sheer power amongst the stars. Explosive fireworks popped throughout the field of battle as the fighters closed their range and point-defense began its assault.

"Serenity, Ms. Vern, move your stealth ships out of the main line of fire. Your vessels will take the enemy flanks and coordinate your electronic efforts with precesion strikes through enemy shields."

On board the merciless frigate, Devastation

The captian had a small command, and he was not on schedule this was not good. "Light speed to the coordinates sent, get me the senior officer for orders." , Sivillias was nervous, he had heard about Crina, he needed to support the remainder of the empire as soon as possible. After entering the coordinates a major battle had been taking place, with communication to Palpatine , "This is Captain Cortuna! I am heeding your coordinate signal, how may I be of assistance?" , the devastation's arrival seemed to be the only good thing from this entire battle. The imperial officer was scanning the field of battle weighing his options. He was nervous, waiting for orders, he did not like this one bit.

Vjun was supposed to be a quiet spot for Taeli to finish her journey to Ossus, a quiet spot that she could study for a day just to learn the history of the ancient world. As her Sicarius infiltrator dropped out of hyperspace and she engaged the stygium cloak, she sighed as she saw a battered looking Imperial fleet in orbit and another fleet moving to engage them.

She had heard about Crina as she left Coruscant, and she had not been too happy. She had enjoyed meeting both Commodore Flavian and the Empress, so when the Sith had attacked, she had actually hoped they had gotten away.

Leaning forward in her seat for a bit, she started a debate with herself. She could render assistance to the Imperials or she could just jump to hyperspace. She was in a ship that was only designed to take on a corvette or smaller, and she could see some older capital ships among the mercenary fleet. Now that she took a closer look, she recognized some of those ships.

"Interesting, those are mercenaries the Sith generally hire to deal with refugees," she muttered, tapping her fingers on the console. As she debated with herself, she activated the sensor suite and intercepted a message.

"Very good, Mirus. Descend to the surface with them and assist in the recovery of the Empress, we must not allow her to fall into enemy hands." So the Empress had survived and she was on the surface, being attacked by these mercs. Well . . . she certainly didn't mind helping here. . . She really should have just gone from Zeltros to Ossus, but noooo she just had to take the scenic route.

Sighing to herself, she activated her weapon systems and kept the cloak active. Her ship would de-cloak when she fired, but she was going to use a method that the old TIE Phantoms had used, firing one burst then disappearing to reappear elsewhere. This was becoming a common theme, helping those that needed help.

"I just know this is gonna get hairy," she sighed, rocketing off to help in space for now.

Flipping her comm unit to a more private channel, Alva was certain to leave a message for a certain someone who had given her one before leaving the ship. "Sorry for not saying anything. I'm fine Aurna, I'm just embarrassed to say much. Thank you for your help evacuating Crina, I'll be sure to reward you later hun." Smiling, the Imperial Fighter Captain switched back to the 181st frequency and ran a final glance over her instrument panels as she toggled her weapons to power up and turned up her throttle. "Enemy squadrons are appearing on radar, sensors are distinguishing them now Sir Palpatine. Signatures coming up now flyboys, keep in formation. . . . .enemy makeup appears to be well maintained craft, last gen but nothing to snuff at. Picking up Z-95s, maybe something heavier as well. Watch the Zs, they can cut tight corners despite their looks."

Flicking the safeties off the concussion missile payload her TIE Seeker carried, Alva glanced out her cockpit briefly to watch the ion glows of the other TIEs in the Imperial Formation, as well as the turbolaser fire exchanges between the Remnant's smaller star destroyers and the mercenary attacker warships. The criss-crossing green and red fire was terrifying in its deadliness, but beautiful in flight. While not meant to strike down fighters, the exchanging fire did claim casualties on both sides. In the distance the blooms of mercenary fighters that took a direct hit meant for the warships behind them dotted the space, and there were a few TIEs going off in the formation as well from the enemy returning fire. Soon enough the fighters would be firing at each other themselves. "All squadrons lock your tracking software on the enemy signature, lead with a torpedo salvo into the enemy fighter clusters. Keep an eye on your targeting systems, don't lose track of your wingmates this sortie is looking like a big one."

Checking her targeting computer, Alva squared up as her fighter closed with the enemy squadrons until a forward unit fell into the crosshairs. Holding fire until confirmation of target locks came in from the rest of the Imperial forces in the fighter screen. "All fighters open fire! Break and engage! Don't let them have torpedo locks on us!" Squeezing the missile launch, Alva pulled up her throttle as a concussion missile exited the missile tube of the TIE Seeker as she put her fighter into a climb, the fighter around her breaking their screen formation as squadrons moved into their three man flights to intercept the enemy units. Laser fire spat from both sides as the fighter formations crashed into one another, lasers flew past Alva's view from the cockpit as she in turn pulled the trigger of her craft and green death lept ahead of her fight slamming into the engine housing of a passing Z-95 putting it into a death spin until it became a fireball as the flames spread from the engine and consumed it, turning it into fiery flotsam.

The ash wasn't really all that hot, once it left the cigarette and hit the air ash from a cigarette cooled down rapidly. Especially if it was such a small amount from the opening flick of a smoke. So it was more of a minor annoyance to get an ash smear on his suit that cost more than Corvinus' whole cheap military outfit. Slade sneered at the man and spoke in a very venomous tone.

"Oh of course Shahid, your wish is my command. And while I'm at it I'll go get you a little tropical drink with a straw hat." Slade said as he began to walk away cupping the cigarette and relighting it with his lighter.

Walking down the halls of the ship slade wiped at his jacket to get the smudge out, he'd have to take it to the dry cleaner and have them do it. Or just burn it and make Corvinus buy him new one. So Corvinus wanted him to go down to the planet's surface. Sure why not, send the guy who really can't do much of anything and doesn't have combat skills besides some basic saber techniques. Slade took a long drag on his cigarette and puffed grey smoke into the air as he made his way down to the hanger.

Serenity was here? she had to figure that creation of her Aunt's was watching her, probably an order from her Aunt if something had happened to her. She sighed and decided to coordinate her machine with Serenity, knowing very well that her ship was combat worthy but well she didn't know much about it other than that. she also happened to have just enough pilots here that she could man her fighters, that was a perk for sure. That would be 12x Havoc-series Bombershttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/521-imperial-tie-havoc-series/ and 12x Dominus-class Starfightershttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/3592-dominus-class-starfighter/ at their disposal She sat back happy to be a passenger, to her the mechanical creations that knew more about this line of work than she did. It looked like it was going to be a bumpy ride.

Aurna hoped Alva was ok, it was moments like this that she worried the most about her girlfriend and planned on holding her hostage until she was sure she was ok. It was the least she could do considering this was the second time that [member="Alva Calvarona"] had ignored her messages. She knew it was war but the least she could do is acknowledge her. Hopefully this fight would be over soon. But then she got a message and she felt alot better, she was ok. Well then Aurna was going to do her best.

The battle continued waging on, and the commander of the Devastation was waiting for orders. He could not take any longer, the heavy chested man order " I cannot wait any longer , target the nearest frigate , all weapons lock on!" , this was battle, he took it upon himself to engage the outter forces of the fleet battle in hopes of blocking them off. The entire ship blared its canons, proton torpedos, and other projectiles at the outdated mercenary ship. The results were fantastic, the enemy ship did not have the updated tech at their disposal like Cortuna did, and because of this, the ship was immediately destroyed. With a loud a explosion to nearby ships, and squadrons, debris flew in every direction to nearby ships,a perfect way to make an entrance. Little did the commander know that he had destroyed a frigate nearby another imperial named Alva Calvarona. Hopefully her men did not get devastated, bomber squadrons, attempting to deal with the new threat came about toward his frigate. "Rotate the Devastation, Spaceport side! Wait for my command!" , the defensive turrets were in position, waiting for his command. But more frigates came to attack him as well, perhaps someone would come to his aid.
