The Bes'hurok (Iron Rock), a heavily modified Maka-Eekai freighter was a comfortable ship so the trip thru the Null Zone and to the Ash Worlds in the Slice was not a hardship even if it was out in the middle of nowhere. He had never been to this area of space before but he had read reports on the planet Mahporieem and the Imperial Remnant located there who had just woken up from their long sleep and had begun to expand.

"We will be coming out of hyperspace in the Weiss System in a moment and will shortly enter the orbit of Mahporieem and request coordinates for Corrox." Echoed a robotic voice via the intercom. Dral-Kar'ta stood and made his way to the bridge. Mahporieem was one of the 'Junk Worlds' known for its abundiant supply of scrap and its shipbreaking yards. By extension it would also be a world with many vintage, mostly intact, vessels. He had been alerted by a traveling salvage merchant that apparently, several hundred years ago, there was a small fleet of old PB-950 patrol Boats awaiting scrapping but in the course of receiving new shipments a former star destroyer was plopped on top of the boats entombing them. Out of sight and out of mind they sat there till just recently the star destroyer was finally broken apart revealing the stash.

Word of such a find very quickly made its way across space to Maridun and to Mando-de'Loren Multi Atmospherics who, as they restored old craft, became very interested and was the reason Dral-kar'ta was walking to the bridge at this very moment. The PB-950 was over three hundred years old at the time of the clone wars and was considered long in the tooth even then but they were tough and reliable with hulls that were neigh on indestructible so soldiered on for many years. It was still possible to find one every once in a wile at some Outer Rim port but after so many centuries they were becoming scarce.

The Mandalorians had no love for the Imperials and the Imperials had even less for the Mandalorians but the possibility of finding several PB-950's all at once was an opportunity too good to resist. Besides he was acting as a representative of MDL and a potential customer and not a Government Official. But he was a Government Official nonetheless and the MIR was in the midst of re-entering the galactic stage. There was an opportunity here not just for junk. He had the ear of the Mand'alor and the Council was interested to know the intentions of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, which had, all of a sudden it seemed, appeared on the Mandalorians flank. Dral-Kar'ta would inquire about the hulls but he would also keep his eyes and ears open.

Reaching the bridge there was a slight shutter and the star streaks of hyperspace morphed into that of realspace and the planet Mahporeem came into view, the large city of Corrox visible even at this distance. He settled in the captain's chair, a custom designed comfortable affair of chromealloy and Nerf leather from his own ranch, and hailed the surface.

"Corrox Traffic Control, Corrox Traffic Control, This is the Saandyr Clan Vessel out of Maridun requesting clearance to land."

He leaned back into his seat and said to his mostly peaceful security droid.

"Well, Tappo, let us see what kind of reception we receive"
