Dominion Sacrilege on Cophrigin (Bryn'adul Dominion of Cophrigin V)

Post: Seven
Objective: B

An audible crack rang out, gravity quaking with dense red energy as the trenches shook. The Sith who fired from within were forced down, hiding whilst those who charged him were flung back. Bodies crashed into the sides of defences, pits of wires were Sith fell helpless. Others, impaled by loose metal and their own weapons.

The Juggernauts ran through at his side, opening fire into the trenches. Echoes of the sith's weapons and screams filled the air with the smell of blood and plasma. Tathra moved to the right, cutting through the Sith with his Axe on the way to the nearest bunker - charging at the wall as he raised the Axe one more. His slow approach was matched by the panicked comments of the Sith inside.

They hurriedly tried to move the turret to turn to face him through the narrow slit they fired from. Tathra snorted, their false-bravery did them no credit. He did not understand it, how they could stand alongside those who would choose to run. They faced death would so little dignity, had their lives truly been worth living?

The Primarch stood, watching from a distant mountain in the great plains of Cophrigin as Al-Hadad broke through the surface. The massive four-thousand metre long serpent tore through the earth, its massive black spikes causing thundering earthquakes as the great creature rippled through the ground.

Before it even reached the city, buildings began to fall - crumbling under their own weight as the foundations began to stretch and wain as the Serpents mandible set head tore through the earth. The ground stretched upward like a shell as it cracked, entire blocks of buildings, fortified positions and Sith vehicles became swallowed by scattered shards as the great Al-Hadad tore through the earth with ease.

Seemingly hundreds of thousands of lives, civilian and sith troopers alike were torn away with almost no effort as the great creature bellowed a roar that could be heard for many hundreds of miles.

Objective: B

He thought not, swinging as the same red energy slammed the left half of the bunker, shattering it into chunks of cement, those inside thrown to the ground or killed. The Titan hunched, moving into the remains of the bunker, pushing aside the splintering rooftop with his right arm.

There was one flat on his back, shuffling through the rubble for his blaster. Another, trying to lift the blaster cannon whilst a third took a vibro-blade from the back of their officer's corpse. Tathra's Axe swung low in an off-handed strike, cutting through the belly of the Sith on his back.

His right hand raised as the second opened fire with the turret, the Titan simply raising his hand and blocking the blaster fire before swinging underarm. The Axe came upward, cleaving the Sith trooper in half and the front of the bunker, his body crashing into the firing placement.

Its cries were nigh so great that the earth shook as the beast feasted on everyone and everything. Mountains shifted, crashing into the city as great bounds of its flesh rose up in semi-circles every few hundred metres as its massive form worked in independent segments to terrorise everything in its periphery.

The Primarch felt it all, Hadad acted as a catalyst as a surge of energy ran through the Primarch. Everything, he felt it. The fears of those under the great magnitudes of flesh that made up the scaled carapace of the Serpent.

The majestic grandeur of the creature was equally terrifying and awe inspiring as it slithered through the earth. Indiscriminately. "They cannot comprehend your grandeur, Al-Hadad!"

Objective: B

The face of the bunker buckling and beginning to fall under its own weight, sliding down the hill side as the third swung with his vibro-blade at the Titan's waist. Tathra's Axe moved like it was weightless in his hands, the flick of his wrist outpacing the two-armed swinging of the Sith as the blade crashed against the shaft of the Axe.

The Titan side-stepped, pivoting as his free hand grasped the nape of the Sith's neck - raising him with such force that he was seemingly immobilised. He threw the Sith overhead, discarded like a material item simply in his way. The trooper cried out in panic as he flew through the air before falling a lethal drop onto the beach below.

With a second bunker eliminated, the Bryn'adûl soldiers were able to overpower the beach defences, setting up mortars to crack the other bunkers. The Titan rushed into the trenches alongside the towering Juggernauts, cutting a swath through the Sith. Tathra switched to a one handed grasp, cutting through the Sith would swings leading into one and other.

As the Primarch spoke Hadad violently surged forward, the curves in his form that broke through the surface now turned, twisting as the black spines cut through the earth as Hadad spiralled downward into the mountains, seemingly collapsing everything in sight as the city crumbled in upon itself.

"We shall not stop - the Sith pay for their trespasses." The Primarch brought his hand ahead of him, directing the massive Al-Hadad to the next block. His revenge would be swift, the Sith Empire would know not to strike against them ever again.

In the field beyond it, thousands of Sith forces retreated from their fortifications, running for their lives as Hadad approached. Drek'ma commanded the great serpent to bend to his will, its entire mass shifting as it thrust its tail in the way of their passage.

Its great form rose from the earth as it turned and twisted into itself, creating a mote with the depths of a black abyss around the largest portion of the stragglers running from their home.

Another struck from the right, crimson lightsaber in hand. He blocked with his right gauntleted fist, pushing the saber into the trench wall his fingers shooting forward, violently grasping the Sith's throat - slamming the Sith into the side of the trench, dropping the body as the troopers began to retreat.

Tathra cocked the Axe, taking it into a two handed grip as he used its power to pull the Sith from the trenches - out they came shrouded in a red mist, kicking and screaming as they went.

"No mercy for the weak, for those who run from their fate!" He called out, an order to his warriors.

The Juggernauts turned their Carbines on the Sith, their prone bodies shredded by the excessive fire as they charged further forward. Tathra moved forward, engaging a Sith as he cut down two Juggernauts, standing above the trenches. Brave and stupid. Tall, powerful, heavy strikes weighed by exhausting - Tathra was quicker, stronger.

Those around them were dropped into the circling valley, crushed by churning rock or killed from the fall as Hadad darted head first into the largest area of the settlement. His hide peppered by Sith plasma, unbothered.

The great Hadad rose up from the earth as it thrust its great maw into the earth. Everything for hundreds of kilometres shook as its great mass slammed through the earth, causing everything nearby to plummet. The force of its crash caused its tail to whip through the island surrounded by the mote, crushing it and forcing a terrible death upon those isolated upon it like it was merely an afterthought.

The serpent lurched deep into the ground as it moved toward the centre of the settlement, its black spines like a whirlwind as it cut through the city like butter. Skyscrapers fell and the entire settlement trembled as its centre collapsed in upon itself.

Objective: B

Saber and Axe clashed, Tathra blocking and pushing away the saber again and again, catching the hilt with the shaft and striking the Sith in the chest, right hand shaping into a knife-hand - shooting into the Sith's throat. His two handed grip becoming one as he swung again, Tathra's Axe already at his chest as his right paw returned to the shaft- grasping as his left released to block the strike.

He slashed from left to right, cutting through the torso of the Sith. His body gushed bloody steam, evaporated by the heat of the Axe as he crashed down into the trench. Their superior fell dead, and whatever pitiful morale had held over the Sith until now was evaporated.

Tathra had cut down the Sith Lord like he was little more than a plaything. They knew they stood no chance, they had been abandoned and what stood before them was the very exemplar of a unified force.

"Forward warriors! And fear not pain nor death!" Tathra called out to his brethren, raising his Axe in a lunging motion toward the Sith that still yet held their ground.

The chilling grip of death tightening around those who remained as the only thing sustaining the land was the mass of Hadad itself, as the great serpent slithered away; large segments collapsed in upon themselves as buildings collided into one and other.

Streets stretched in impossible directions as layers of apartments shook and tore, falling into the depths and scattering bodies in all directions. The screams of the damned flooded the senses of the Primarch, his power drawn from the fear they held.

Some were brave till the last, but they fell all the same. So much death, it gave him some great sustenance as Al-Hadad acted as a catalyst for his will, the deaths it caused warped into force energy for the Primarch.

Objective C

The guardians had enough dignity not to beg for their lives when they had been driven back. Instead, they would defiantly stand their ground to the very end, or else desperately attempt to retreat on their own terms, only to be caught by other bands of Draelvasier. They had managed to cause several casualties through their guerilla tactics and their sudden and unexpected assaults, but there was only so much that a non-military force could inflict against one prepared for galactic warfare.

The starship shuddered ever so slightly as its navigator attempted to pry them free from the grasp of the Debaucher with whatever energy was left within their engine systems. It was a failed attempt, but it did do a great deal to alert the boarders of how they mustn't dally. The Debaucher was a powerful creature, but its abilities were not infinite, and being stranded aboard the luxury vessel was a fate none of them wished.

With the defenders defeated, the Bryn'adul began to approach the remaining crew quarters and those of their guests.

Objective: Kill the crazies

Keldothera dodged to the right as a javelin crashed into the dirt beside her, paint adorned warriors screamed as they leapt from the trees. The gossip was true, the natives had turned rabid. Keldothera stood in place, one hand behind her back with an open palm. Waiting for them to attack.

The first charged her with an Axe of bone. As the human swung, she used her left wrist to push the Axe down and away, her open hand shooting up from behind and grasping the back of the natives head. She pivoted as she stepped back, turning round as she bent at the knees. She pulled the feral down with her, aiming his head for a large rock nestled in the ground.

The front of his face turned into crushed meat as he turned on her heel. Her fist swung low, taking the feet out from under a sprinting attacker. The third charged with a spear, aimed to plunge into her neck. Keldothera brought her left gauntlet in the way, pushing it narrowly out of the way of her neck before grabbing the lower length with her right, snapping it in half.

The smell of heated metal and iron rose to the air. It was thick and while the attempts to break through the wall at the other end proved useless as the smoke cleared, the tall warlock finally addressed Sylok.

"Well, come out with it then."
"This isn't just some normal bulkhead. Or even a normal defense for that matter. Can you see it?" Sylok re-affirmed his suspicions. There was something clearly out of reach within the confines of those engravings. Without understanding them, they could be here forever.
"See what weaver!?" Illik Drakmo grew frustrated, he was a well trained warlock, one that could easily destroy their enemies with the force. While this was true, he lacked an above average intelligence. A birth alteration that clearly had gone wrong. It was a shame, if he had the mind like he had the power, Illik could've been unmatched within the ranks of warlocks. It amazed Sylok to see such potential, a clear indicator that not only the mind is a powerful tool, but the force around them.
"The engravings Illik. As soon as I landed I felt it. A gift from the force, a sight beyond that which guides your very own power. Strands of the force are buried here. It resides inside the wall. Perhaps a Monk's very own tricks?"
"Very well, I'll tell my men to stop firing." Illik lifted his palm and shouted, the hurtling roar resounding off the metal like a bell. "Weaver, I trust you can find a way in?
"

Sylok grinned, the shifting grind of his teeth locking into place. He wasn't equipped to deal with a gap between languages as ancient as this. However, within a hidden circle of the Ashaka, resided a very rare group of Drael. They were solely responsible for keeping - keeping all of the galaxies history tightly written and compiled safely in the heart of the Bryn's home. They were gifted with the ability to harness the vision of the past based on many applications. This alone, allowed the Scripters of the Bryn to re-live and record all of, if not, most of; the past, present and in some very rare cases in minimal lengths of time the future. While they were extremely capable of other things they were needed in this area of expertise to show the galaxy who and what the Draelvasier were and continue to be.

Sylok contemplated leaving them on the ship, but this time only one drael happened to be a perfect fit for the situation. Grek Fal, an elder of the Scripters. He argued for hours to come see the towering inner sanctum of these, so called, monks. He demanded it. By the end of it all, in front of the seers he spoke of a presence in the force tugging at him to find the truth. It seemed the duty to keep the old drael alive rested on Sylok's Ashaka unit. Regardless, even in his old age, Grek Fal seemed to be in the right. Sylok approached the bent over figure in a robe of black. The only distingusihable thing on him was a white rope, tied to his hips.

"Grek Fal, I can't belive I'm saying this..." Sylok's words were quickly interrupted.
"But you need my help." Grek Fal said, his head raising, the face of a slender Aeravalin with pockets of torn flesh revealed itself. "Step aside."

The debaucher had caught hold of a small cruiser, tendrils running through its hull as nearly six hundred warriors poured into the ship. Four hundred drones, backed by Savages and Juggernauts. Galak wore a massive slate of crimson and silver armour, Triad slung over shoulder.

The massive brute of a Baedurin hefted the Triad into hand as the Warlock Tirran used the force to open the door ahead. The barrel was molten hot, ready to fire as the metallic grey-steel door came apart, a hail of defensive blaster fire screaming through like clogged water in a pipe, challenged by a hail of fire from the Triad and Carbines at his side.

The Savages charged on through, climbing the walls and ceiling toward the Sith - throwing themselves into the way of missiles and heavy cannon fire as the Juggernauts and Drones slowly pushed forward. Heavies leading the charge.

The earth quaked as Hadad flinched, seemingly whipping its tail upward, prying itself free from the earth as it crashed through everything in its vicinity. Trees, landfills, habitats of all kinds were destroyed as Hadad consumed all in its path.

The Primarch's gaze slowly shifted to the already collapsing city that stretched along the length of the mountain range. The ground had already been torn so much, the mountains were barely standing as is.

All that was required was a little push. In one sleeping motion, the great Al-Hadad dove into the base of the mountain. It felt like the entire planet, cophrigin shook as a massive mountain at the centre of the city began to break apart.

His Kukri was drawn as he slit the throat of a sniper, throwing a smaller blade into the head of another sitting idly in a tree. They were easily spotted, Draelvasier infrared vision made easy pickings of those hidden in the treelines.

Gredak activated his helmet built communications unit; seeking to speak with the others in the vicinity. "Zealot Shadow Tenebris en route." Moments after those words were spoken, Gredak broke into a sprint that was almost immediately interrupted; tackled into the mud.

As Gredak rose, Carbine Rifle in hand - opposite his stood a Sith holding his Kukri. The Zealot snarled, raising his rifle to fire. Gredak aimed for the head, ready to drop the Sith weakling before he could get close, pulling in on the trigger.

The mountain tore in both directions as Al-Hadad tore through the ground on either side, forcing both mountians to dip into the newly made chasm. When the ground shook the planet, cophrigin cried a drum shattering cry as the continental plates shifted, the mountain tore away from themselves.

They descending into the earth, burying a large portion of the city with it. A gust of wind was carried on a massive shockwave, even the Primarch could feel it from this distance. The wind kicked up around him as he was forced back a step, the straps of his cuirass danced in the wind as he was forced to squint.

He could feel the pain and suffering of those now trapped within the mountain. But, he did not understand it entirely. As he watched Al-Hadad, it was a privilege. To watch the work of such a magnificent creature was not something he took for granted.

Yet nothing, the Zealots eyes grew wide as he realised his rifle was jammed. The mud no doubt clogged the weapons systems.

The Sith saw his surprise and capitalised on it, lunging forward with the Kukri in hand, attempting to stab at his mid-section. Gredak brought his rifle low, using it to block the blade with his right hand, jamming the Kukri into the weapons barrel.

In unison with his trick, he used his left hand to strike the Siths back, throwing him down into the muck on his back; the Kukri firmly jammed into the weapon; using it as anchor to flip the Sith over until his arm was at a weak angle.

He knew one day his time would pass, perhaps Al-Hadad would die even before then. He could not know, not entirely. Even the Seers were not so clairvoyant that they could perceive the future directly.
But it all informed his decision to simply savour the magnificence.

These were unprecedented times, and to stand before the grandeur of the Titan, of great serpents? That gift was all he required. When the dust settled, there was nothing left. Nothing but - ashes. Al-Hadad had come to a halt, as a black night engorged the sky.

The entire mountain range had disappeared, and from all the tunnels and breaks in the crust Al-Hadad had created, it seemed as though a chasm had emerged upon his path. One that stretched for dozens of miles in both directions that came to an endless bit.
