Alor of Clan Tal
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Long ago, the Súile Beannaithe were discovered by the Anam during an expedition to their most holy site, a lightside nexus of healing on the planet. Fascinated by these crystals, and how they seemed to thrum with life and energy, they were quickly adopted as a valuable, rare item among the priesthood, and later were made to be an official ‘holy stone’ for their ability to enhance the use of the priesthood’s healing powers. In the days before the Cataclysm that nearly destroyed all life irreversibly on the planet, these stones were just plentiful enough to be available beyond just the priesthood and royal family, though at exuberant prices.
When the Cataclysm hit, however, most all known Súile Beannaithe were completely destroyed by the massive surge of the Dark Side that ravaged the planet itself. The assumption was made that the crystals, as well as their source of origin, were lost forever to the past and the mistakes the Anam had made. The only remaining crystals were lost at a later time, when the Anam again fled from their new home, only to return home to the recovered Domhanda.
Rediscovered during an expedition by Queen
Auburn Sioda
of Domhanda and multiple Mandalorian warriors, the spring that sourced the crystals, along with what seemed to be regrown crystals, revitalized hope that their holy stone had returned fully to them along with their home. Upon return, and with careful testing, Queen Auburn Sioda was able to, with great joy, confirm the crystals had retained their holy properties. Now in control of the source, Queen Sioda controls the flow of the crystals, as they require careful and delicate work to remove any of them from the caves, and distributes them mainly to those in whom she places great trust.

- Unique Location: Súile Beannaithe only grows in Loch na Beannachtai
- Light Side: Being so deeply soaked with the Light Side, makes this crystal nigh unusable by any Dark Side user, save for those strong enough to corrupt it. Those more Neutral in nature will be able to use it, however to a lesser extent.
- Slow Growing: Súile Beannaithe grows at a slow rate, and as such can not be gathered in large amounts lest the source be depleted entirely.
