- N&Z Umbrella Corp. Shipyard
- Du'thra Engineering Shipyard
- The Eidolon Arkwright Consortium Shipyard
- Classification: Orbital Ring Shipyards
- Location: Ruisto
- Affiliation: Mahporeem Imperial Remnant
- Population: Heavily Staffed
- Accessibility:
- The shipyards are highly accessible through a network of docking corridors, approach lanes, and interconnected platforms designed to accommodate vessels of varying sizes. Numerous docking bays and independently operated shipyards surround the central ring, allowing ships to be constructed, enter, depart, refuel, resupply, or undergo repairs without relying on a single access point. Heavy traffic is managed through designated flight paths and docking stations, providing efficient access while maintaining security and order throughout the sprawling orbital complex.
- Description:
- The main shipyard serves as the central hub of the complex, a massive orbital facility responsible for coordinating large-scale construction, repairs, refitting, and logistical operations across the station. Surrounding it are several independently operated shipyards, each maintaining its own crews, facilities, docking infrastructure, and corporate interests while remaining connected to the greater complex through shared transit routes and supply networks. Though independent in ownership and operation, these smaller yards function in close proximity to the main facility, creating a sprawling industrial network capable of servicing countless vessels simultaneously.
- Production:
- The Ruisito Imperial Shipyard, associated with the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, serves as the principal manufacturing facility of the Mahporeem Imperial Navy, producing a broad assortment of starfighters, support craft, and warships commissioned for service within the Mahporeem Imperial Navy. The three surrounding shipyards remain independently operated, each free to manufacture vessels, components, and other products according to their respective corporate catalogues, production capabilities, and commercial interests. While these independent companies may accept any contracts when advantageous, their output is ultimately determined by their own catalogues and the demands they choose to pursue, creating a diverse industrial ecosystem surrounding the centralized naval production of Ruisito.
- Specialty:
- The specialties of the three independent shipyards vary according to their own commercial choices and production schedules, with individual products being manufactured on timetables that may change weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even annually depending upon demand and availability. The Ruisito Imperial Shipyards, by contrast, maintains four principal specialized products; the DS-50 TIE Fighter, Kodashi Viper, CR125D Corvette, and the Von Strauss-class Cargo Ship, each regarded as a higher-grade product requiring greater attention than the mass-produced vessels manufactured throughout the facility. These four specialized designs are deliberately produced at a slower rate, as their construction emphasizes quality, craftsmanship, precision, and uniqueness rather than sheer quantity; within Ruisito's production philosophy, the higher the quality and complexity of a vessel, the longer it takes to complete, ensuring that specialized craft leave the yards as refined military and industrial products rather than rushed assemblies.
- Output:
- The output of the Ruisito Imperial Shipyard remains steady, disciplined, and consistent, with the facility deliberately choosing to produce class over trash, prioritizing quality, reliability, and military-grade craftsmanship over inflated production numbers or inferior vessels. Its manufacturing schedules operate independently of the three surrounding shipyards, allowing the Imperial shipyard to maintain its own uninterrupted rhythm of construction and delivery regardless of fluctuations in outside production. The three independently operated shipyards determine their own timetables, workloads, and production rates according to their respective business interests, and any delays, slowdowns, or surges within those facilities have no effect upon the output or operational schedule of the Ruisito Imperial Shipyards.
- Market:
- Ruisto Imperial Shipyard {Main Facility}
- The Ruisito Imperial Shipyard operates through vast automated assembly lines, magnetic cranes, fabrication bays, and zero-gravity construction chambers that transform raw materials into completed starships and components. Its inner rings house engineering teams, droids, foundries, repair facilities, storage depots, and specialized bays responsible for everything from reactor installation and armor plating to weapons integration and final systems testing. At its core, a heavily secured command nexus coordinates production, power distribution, docking traffic, logistics, and security, allowing the entire shipyard to function as one immense and relentlessly efficient Imperial machine.
- N&Z Umbrella Corp. Shipyard
- The shipyard owned by N&Z Umbrella Corporation is one of three independently operated shipyards within the greater shipyard collective, maintaining complete autonomy over its facilities and operations. Its administrators are free to conduct business, construct vessels, allocate resources, and modify their facilities at their own discretion without requiring approval from the other shipyards. This independence allows N&Z Umbrella Corporation to utilize its shipyard however it sees fit.
- Du'thra Engineering Shipyard
- Du'thra Engineering Shipyard is another independently operated shipyard within the greater collective, maintaining full control over its own facilities and industrial operations. From its docks and manufacturing complexes, Du'thra Engineering can independently operate, design, construct, and produce its specialized products entirely on its own account. This autonomy allows the shipyard to pursue its own production priorities and commercial interests without relying upon the other three shipyards for authorization or manufacturing support.
- The Eidolon Arkwright Consortium Shipyard
- The shipyard owned by the Eidolon Arkwright Consortium, or E.A.C. for short, is the third of the three independently operated shipyards, and as the newest corporation within the collective, it arguably benefits the most from the arrangement. Its position allows the Consortium to learn from the experience, technologies, manufacturing practices, and accumulated expertise of the other two established shipyards while developing its own industrial identity. Like its counterparts, the Eidolon Arkwright Consortium retains the freedom to operate independently and design, manufacture, and produce its products entirely on its own account.
- A Blocked Off Section of the Main Facility {No Trespassing}
- A sealed section of the Imperial shipyard’s main facility remains permanently restricted, its entrances barred and its corridors declared off-limits to all personnel regardless of rank or clearance. Rumors persist of a mysterious individual,
Her
, dwelling somewhere beyond the sealed doors passing and going at will, a figure whose true name is unknown to all but those whom they personally choose to enlighten. Access to the section is said to be granted by invitation alone, with no official records acknowledging who resides within; or what purpose the forbidden chambers ultimately serve.

- Board of Engineers
- The Board of Engineers is a specialized meeting chamber operated by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant’s Naval Engineering Department, where senior engineers convene to discuss upcoming projects, review the status of ongoing developments, and determine which initiatives should be continued, modified, or scrapped. Representatives from the three independently operated shipyards are encouraged to attend and contribute their expertise, ensuring that major engineering decisions benefit from the collective knowledge of the entire shipyard network. Their participation, however, remains entirely voluntary, as each shipyard retains its independence and possesses no obligation to answer to the Board of Engineers or accept its decisions.
Maximum
The entire shipyard collective maintains a maximum defensive posture designed to protect its immense industrial infrastructure from sabotage, theft, piracy, and hostile incursions. Within the shipyards, automated turrets {75} cover critical corridors and access points while layered security and proximity alarms provide early warning of unauthorized movement, reinforced by an extensive network of security cameras monitoring the facilities around the clock.
Roving patrols of 175 Scrap Hounds move through the industrial sectors alongside two Imperial stormtrooper battalions staged in companies, creating a mobile security presence capable of responding rapidly to breaches, disturbances, or attempted assaults anywhere within the collective.
Beyond the shipyards themselves, the orbital perimeter is reinforced by dedicated automated turbolasers {100}, flak guns {48}, and point-defense laser cannon {200}, creating overlapping fields of fire against approaching vessels and hostile starfighters. These fixed defenses, along with its two shield options, the ionization deflector shield and particle shield, serve as the first line of resistance, forcing any potential attacker to contend with the shipyards' defensive network before reaching docking rings or production facilities.
When circumstances warrant, the Mahporeem Imperial Navy may further reinforce the collective with an occasional fleet or two, transforming the shipyards from a heavily defended industrial complex into a formidable military installation capable of sustaining a prolonged defensive operation.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Long before the arrival of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, the skies above Ruisito were haunted by the remains of a shipyard graveyard, that had fell centuries before. The once-great shipyards had been shattered during one former Moff's revenge during the reign of the Galactic Empire, their enormous structures torn apart and left drifting in orbit as massive fragments of durasteel, docking rings, construction gantries, and broken industrial platforms.
For generations, the debris field remained a silent monument to the former Mon Calamari civilization that once possessed the means to construct warships above the planet. When the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant finally surveyed Ruisito, however, their expedition encountered an unexpected obstacle; a group of crazed Mon Calamari who attacked the survey forces with alarming ferocity. What began as a planetary survey became a brief but violent campaign, ending only after the Mon Calamari were defeated and their resistance broken.
With Ruisito brought under the influence and protection of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, attention quickly turned toward the enormous potential represented by the ruins above the planet.
The first major undertaking of the new administration was the reconstruction of the orbital shipyards. The task was monumental; much of the original infrastructure had to be recovered, dismantled, reinforced, or rebuilt entirely, while countless pieces of the ancient wreckage were incorporated into new construction wherever practical. The resulting complex eventually became known as the Ruisito Imperial Shipyard, a sprawling collective of orbital construction facilities capable of producing, repairing, refitting, and servicing vessels for the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant.
Yet the M.I.R.'s treasury could not possibly finance such an undertaking alone. The project therefore became an unprecedented industrial partnership, receiving enormous financial investments from the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, Du'thra Engineering, and The Eidolon Arkwright Consortium, with an additional and considerably more mysterious source of funding coming from a secretive benefactor known only as Vūm to those permitted close enough to the project to know the name.
Rather than allowing the three corporations to become little more than investors, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant delegated each one an independent shipyard within the larger collective. N&Z Umbrella Corporation received the N&Z Shipyard, developing its own production methods, engineering philosophy, and specialized construction facilities while remaining part of the greater Ruisito complex. Du'thra Engineering was granted the Du'thra Engineering Shipyard, where its engineers concentrated on advanced industrial engineering, naval construction, and specialized technological projects. The Eidolon Arkwright Consortium, meanwhile, established the E.A.C. Shipyard, contributing its financial and industrial resources toward the construction of the shipyards.
Though all three facilities operated independently, they shared access to the greater shipyard's infrastructure, logistical networks, defensive systems, storage facilities, transportation complexes, and engineering resources. A special Board of Engineers was established within the main facility so representatives from the three independently operated shipyards could discuss upcoming projects, ongoing construction, technological problems, and the possibility of scrapping projects that no longer justified their resources.
But one section of the reborn shipyard remained different from everything else. Deep within the primary facility, behind reinforced blast doors, layered security checkpoints, and restrictions that even senior personnel could not casually bypass, a sealed-off section was constructed specifically for Vūm. No corporation was granted authority over it, and neither the ordinary shipyard workforce nor most Imperial personnel were permitted to know what occurred beyond its doors.
The section was financed through Vūm's mysterious contributions and built according to specifications that remained deliberately obscure, giving rise to countless rumors among engineers and officers alike. Whatever its true purpose, the sealed facility became one of the most closely guarded places in the entire Ruisito Imperial Shipyard.
Thus, from the shattered remnants of an ancient orbital ruin, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant created something far greater; a vast industrial collective where three independent corporate shipyards worked alongside one Imperial banner, while somewhere behind locked doors, an unknown benefactor quietly maintained a fourth presence whose purpose remained known only to a select few.
