- Ruby's past is a mystery. She was left on the doorstep of an orphanage on Irith when she was three months old. Since then, she remained in their care. She was always something of a troublemaker as a child and still is. Privately, she has never felt like she's ever fit in or had a place to belong–and would often act out in a rebellious fashion. She has a penchant for stealing things, mostly because she's never really had anything to call her own. But as a result, she has been in trouble with the law a couple of times. They let her off easy for being a minor, but she was warned that she'd end up in a juvenile detention center if she pressed her luck.
