Looking at her again, he wasn't so shocked to know Morgana's family had those who used the Dark Side. Before his time now, back when he had been with the Jedi Council and Jedi Brotherhood, how many Jedi did he know that had a family full of Darksiders? Lono Draclau was one example, perhaps the greatest Knight of his generation who's father was Malice, one of Mak's greatest enemies.

"Where is Morgana? This party is for her knighting and her birthday, but I haven't seen her yet."

"I was in the middle of some research, but I wasn't going to miss this," Taeli said, returning the embrace of her friend. "It's important to you and to Morgana, I wouldn't miss this for the whole of the galaxy's knowledge."

Looking around the assembled guests, she saw several familiar faces among them, and she could feel others. One of the men caused her nose to wrinkle a bit though. Great, a Sith. She wouldn't say anything though, it wouldn't be proper to comment on that.

"Make sure this goes in the pile of gifts for Morgana," Taeli said, gesturing at the package she had brought with her. "I promise it will be something she will find incredibly useful and is actually quite lovely."

"I believe the term for it is 'fashionably late', Master Jedi." Joryn said. He could feel the ale heating his insides, but decided to refrain from indulging himself any more. In an emergency, he could try to use the Force to flush the drugs from his system, but that would be difficult for one where that mental muscle is so atrophied.

Perhaps I could inquire about some supplementary training, he thought. [member="Mak Manto"] would be the person to ask. His old Master had said that a Jedi should not seek material power, nor desire leadership. "These things lead to the Dark Side. You must be above the crude, the material." Part of his responsibility to the planet he was trusted to rule was to stay away from that aspect, no, that perversion of the Force. Of course, a Jedi would be the one to bother with your philosophical quandaries.

"You were the young Morgana's teacher, no? I've heard as much before I came to you. Tell me, what was your impression of the girl?"

Taking another deep inhale on his pipe, he downed the second glass of ale before using the Force to bring over a third glass, this time sipping it leisurely.

"I've been training Jedi for hundreds of years, and each apprentice has their own style, their own personality, yet she was put in situations where she could've taken advantage of them yet she didn't. For example, we were in a bar on a mission once and she was quite able to get drinks if she wanted, despite being underage, yet she didn't. She's a remarkable young lady, and while she's a Jedi Knight now, I'll still be focusing some of my time on her so she can learn more and become an even greater Jedi."

[Morgana Forceborn]

During all the talk and so forth with the guests a servant had arrived to Empress Nimue. She told that Morgana was ready, indicating her to nod before excusing herself to walk back towards the throne. As she did she motioned towards [member="Asterion"] , indicating for him to join her before she stood in front of her golden seat. She addressed everyone and said "My friends and honored guests, thank you for coming this evening. And now to introduce the daughter of Effekt, princess Morgana of house Stormson."​

The band had struck up a triumphant tune as Morgana made her way out into view in front of all from a side entrance. Instead of her usual attire she was wearing Effekt robes that were, as her other put it, befitting a princess of her status and rank. As she walked in her head was down, indicating a sense of not being fully comfortable. She looked up to see everyone present, noting all the familiar faces. Some she nodded or indicated she'd seen them, others like [member="Evania Charr"] had brought a little smile to her face. She finally came to where Nimue stood and was at her right now. After all the elaborate setting up was done Nimue indicated that the true festivities could be done. The band struck up a more merry dancing tune and the servants had brighter faces on as they served everyone.​

"And now for the gifts." Nimue announced as she indicated Asterion and Morgana take a seat. She did so as the others would and only waited to see what she had received as part of her grand celebration.​

The royal fanfare signalled the change in mood in the hall, one that turned all attention to Nimue and a hush followed. Asterion at that point moved around the guests and up to the side of the Empress, a step back as she welcomed their daughter into the room.

He turned his head to see Morgana enter, and simply watched her move with a certain grace but slight hesitation which he could understand. This was totally beyond him, and at times he was wrapped up in a world he didn’t understand, nor comprehend his position here from once stalking the wilderness of Teth as a broken Sith. Now, standing beside the Empress of Effekt and watching his…daughter…receive such love and admiration from the people she would grow to inspire and maybe lead.

The glint in his eyes conveyed a proud emotion that had risen from when he met her in the gardens to now seeing her as the young woman she had been brought up to become. He had little, if nothing, to do with how she had turned out, but something had been done right and he would be sure to protect her and guide her at all costs. She was, all said and done, his genetic off-spring.

Taking a seat and curling his fingers into fists, resting gently on the arms of his chair, Asterion watched the proceedings, his sense open and keeping an eye out for trouble. Just in case.

The Jedi Master noted the force sensitives in the room, but his mind was occupied more on his "daughter" once she would enter the room. He would smile warmly, and sit down while she made her speech. He needed to sit down for once today, he'd paced around the ship the whole trip there, and had done nothing but walk and socialize (sort of socialize, anyway) since he had arrived. He was getting old, damnit! He could afford to sit down!

He would sit and watch the proceedings for now.

With every light step with large force warrior made, he sent out a light sensation of calm from his force signature. Long inhale to take in to cold but fresh of the planet, he enjoyed it cooling sensation from time to time. Speaking of time, he was late or so he believe to the royal showing of [member="Nimue Stormson"] 's daughter. As he stepped through the doors to the royal palace. Horns were played and festivities play made the whole hall fill with cheer and delight as the one known as [member="Morgana Forceborn"] made her appearance into the royal hall. There she stood, a accelerate vision of donors to a queen, there stood his daughter the princess of an entire planet. He looked to [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]; A jedi master, [member="Solan Charr"]; A force sensitve royal, and @Asterion; the galactic Minotaur. All of which donors to the life of Morgana. Jericho stood silently as she made her grand entry to the room, giving short thanks to all who have arrived and made her demand for gifts. The dark armored clad warrior let out a sigh though his mask, seemed she was not too far off from her mother. He looked her in her eyes for a moment and took the time to memerize her person then gave a look to the queen, as quickly and quietly as he appeared and turned around made his way out getting what he wanted.
