Decorated Veteran: Roy has been in the fight since the mere age of Seventeen and has been weaving his way up to the top.
Adaptable: Roy is able to adjust to new conditions so he wouldn't have trouble if his wings were clipped all of a sudden or if his starfighter went down. He's also equipped and has been trained with the essential survival skills.
Skilled Marksman: Aside from Starfighter combat, Roy also did his time as a soldier for the Alliance during his youth so he would know how to fire a blaster if he needed to.
Assertive: Roy trains his pilots with a forceful personality. His methods to some would seem harsh or sometimes extreme in some cases but it's all to ensure this his Squadron is ready for action. With this in mind all pilot's in his Squadron have to have the rank of a lieutenant or higher.
Crazy: Roy has a wild personality in battle and will usually put his Squadron in perilous situations for the Alliance. With this in mind he would never ask those in his command to risk their lives but if willing he's not afraid to take that risk.

BIOGRAPHY:
Roy's father was once a starfighter pilot serving among Naboo's royal starfighter corps but fled following the rise of the Galactic Empire and moved away with his wife and only son into the industrial slums of Ord Mantell. Roy Goran was born in Ord Mantell where his father worked in a robotic coal yard for the next couple of years. His family didn't earn much of an income so on the side Roy's father also did some illegal trading to keep food on the table. Knowing full well how to fly a starfighter Roy's passion for flying came straight from his father that at first was persistent to tell anything but as time went by was willing to relive the glory days.
At the age of twenty-one, Roy decided to pursue his dream of flying. Initially joining the Imperial navy where his skills manifested. At the time, serving the Empire at it's full potential didn't seem to cross his mind but it was until Roy saw action firsthand that he decided to eventually defect and join the ranks of the Galactic Alliance.
