Her pink skin and blue hair make this girl immediately recognisable as a Zeltron. Her pretty face often bears a dreamy expression that is quick to blossom into a smile when attention is turned towards it. Her hair is wavy and tends to assume a disorderly arrangement.

Rosario is of average height for a near-human female, but she is lanky and flat-chested. Her movements are free and unconcerned, and she often sits in a hunched manner and rests her arms in curious positions. At the same time, she has the unmistakable air of someone who is in full control of her body, and the fluency of her movements, which never appear clumsy or forced, endows them with a certain grace.

Rosario is driven by a curiosity that is not intellectual, but sensual and emotional. She likes to experience people and sensations of all sorts, and is greatly drawn to novelty, sometimes to the point of recklessness. Her sense of humour is geared towards the situational and absurd.

She has a caring disposition towards others and a keen sensitivity to their feelings, but lacks some of the outgoingness and sociability typical of her species. Somewhat uncharacteristically for a Zeltron, she needs her alone time and is not a skillful manipulator of people. Most members of a near-human species at least find her charming in a harmless, child-like way, which she is used to relying on. At the same time, she is somewhat unreasonably self-conscious about her appeal as a woman, having spent her adolescence in the company too many a well-built Twi'lek.

Rosario lives with an attitude of naive optimism and has a dislike for plans and systematicity. She is chronically disorganised and always late. When forced to engage the future, she is prone to becoming paralysed with indecision and anxiety. She lives in the moment, but not securely - it is where she hides, not daring to look any further.

Rosario has a particular fondness for children, but strongly dislikes droids. She is disturbed by their semblance of life that is nonetheless unreal, by their lack of emotions or an imitation that she can never feel and be moved by.

CHILDHOOD

Rosario was born on Zeltros to a single mother, with two half-siblings to follow, a brother and a sister. Her mother getting by on odd jobs and lovers, the family was poor, but their sunny disposition prevented them from sinking into despair. As soon as she could, Rosario learnt to make herself useful by looking after her younger siblings. But carefree as she was, she did not shy away from gambles with friends and then strangers, and through some odd coincidence grew accustomed to winning them, a fact that she never questioned. Still a child, she began to turn her uncanny luck into a source of income for the family.

ADOLESCENCE

This made her money, but not, of course, only friends. And eventually, she ran afoul of bigger fish than just the tame local criminals: a criminal whose name she never learnt, whose winning streak she ruined, costing him quite a bit of money, had her abducted out of spite and sold to slavers. She ended up with a human night club owner in New Coronet on the former Corellian colony of Trigalis, who found it worth to invest in a child slave who could not yet be used for much more than swiping the floor based on the promise she held for the future.

Rosario grew up among the other slaves and employees, and sometimes patrons, somewhat lost as a curiosity disconnected from her own culture, but for the most part well-liked. The Twi'lek woman Alema'ani was the closest she found to a mother figure, though in truth she was really more like an older sister.

As she grew older, Rosario had to wait tables and learn to dance. Her owner was wary of prematurely spoiling his capital and so decided to put off her introduction to the other kind of work that went on quietly in the back rooms of the establishment. Eventually, however, the owner's son decided not to wait any longer and probe her fitness for the purpose. It became an unforgettable experience for him. The terror that took hold of the young girl merely disturbed him somewhat at first, but eventually swept over him with a strength that he never knew before or since. Panting, and stark naked, he rushed out of the room, causing much embarrassment.

This incident spelt the end of Rosario's time on Trigalis. It was clear that she could be kept no longer. With a sizeable return on his original investment, her owner sold her to a slave trader who took her away on his ship. From this predicament, she was rescued by Jedi Knight Zylah Dvale.

Rosario can muster little physical strength and endurance, but has quick reflexes and excellent control over her body. So far, she has put these to use only as a proficient dancer.

Rosario manifests the empathetic and telepathic abilities of her species to an unusually high degree. Consequently, her approach to problems is always social. She does not abhor violence intrinsically, but it has to be committed by someone on her behalf, since she has never been in a position to be physically threatening and is aware of it.

Her senses are very acute, so much so that she finds her pronounced sensitivity to texture and smells to sometimes be a hindrance. Her introspective capabilities, too, are quite developed. However, these fine-grained data are merely perceived by her mind and not treated in an analytic fashion and much used to guide action. Instead of the output of intellectual analysis, Rosario goes through life guided by intuitions with an uncanny tendency to be just right.

Besides her native Zeltron, Rosario speaks Galactic Basic with a curious Corellian accent and is also fluent in Ryl. She has picked up some knowledge of Corellian and Huttese, but can only discuss a certain range of topics in those languages.

Rosario is highly attuned to the feelings and thoughts of other beings as well as her physical surroundings, even if she does not always know what to do with this information.

She mostly displays a carefree and optimistic attitude that can be quite contagious, and is apt to find the good in situations and people.

Rosario is fearful when forced to confront possibilities, and consequently does not like to make plans. She is very disorganised and incapable of being on time.

Rosario does not know how to behave in a dominant, commanding fashion. She relies instead on charm and persuasion when trying to influence people, which has worked surprisingly well in the situations she has faced, but is not universally applicable.

Her empathetic disposition makes it difficult for her to stand up for herself. At the same time, she does not take promises too seriously and is quite nonchalant about breaking those that a wiser person would not have made in the first place.

Together with her heightened perception of both the physical and the mental comes an increased sensitivity to disgust which can make it difficult to deal with a situation. This is overridden by the cuteness of children, but not much else has been found that has the same effect.
