Robotic Rebirth

Surrounded by tall jungle trees and plentiful greenery, the droids stood at attention as [member="Lord Mettallum"] addressed him, acknowledging his orders as they began to fan out through the area. The MagnaGuards stayed by Mettallum's side, spreading out as they carried their electrostaves at the ready.

The IG-RM droids that Mettallum had been provided with were of the newest make, their sensory packages allowing them to pick up clues that most others would not notice. Insects and reptilian creatures were most prevalent, flying about or hanging from tree branches above the metallic beings that scouted throughout the jungle. Twenty IG-RM security guards had been sent with Mettallum to the planet, breaking into four groups of five as they aimed to cover the most distance possible while still having a chance at survival. Terentatek came in all different shapes and sizes, but were known for always being larger than even the tallest of humanoids.

About an hour in to the search, one of the squads reported in to Mettallum, relaying their location as they had been able to discover large clawed footprints, ones that led to a dark and mysterious cave. Within, two feral and beady eyes surged open, laying their sight upon those who had dared to interrupt its slumber.

Lord Mettallum was enroute to the cave. He ordered all the IG-RM to converge on the cave and protect the entrance and make sure the sithspawn doesn't leave the cave. Lord Mettallum picked up his pace with the 4 magnaguards behind him. Grabbing his pistol and Duplex Hastam he made it to the cave around the same time as the 3 other IG-RM droid groups did.

The Terentatek let out a mighty roar, shifting up onto all fours as the droid squad began to back away. With their blaster-arms aimed and ready, they began to open fire, pelting the beast with red bolts of energy. The mighty creature flinched as the shots impacted with its hide, causing minor burns and little to no damage. Instead of lurching forward and out of the cave, the Terentatek decided to rotate its entire body, utilizing its tail to violently sweep at the terrain ahead of it.

The IG-RM droids were caught in the momentum, either sent flying or crushed beneath the Terentatek's extreme weight. As soon as [member="Lord Mettallum"] and reinforcements arrived, it began to retreat back into the cave, trying to shield itself from the barrage of blaster bolts that were being sent its way. The MagnaGuards by Mettallum's side also prepared for battle, ready to do as their leader requested as their electrostaves lit up, their ends glowing with deadly purple electricity.

Lord Mettallum got the cave just in time to watch the droids get crushed. As the sithspawn went into the cave Lord Mettallum followed. In a commanding voice he yelled.

"All groups make sure you do not bunch up together or else if the abomination gets out of the cave what happened to your fellow droids may happen to you." Entering the cave he looked at his magnaguards and said "I Lord Mettallum shall fight the beast head on but you four shall attack its flanks. If you can atleast stun the beasts with your electrostaffs I Lord Mettallum should be able to easily stab the beast in its pathetic ai or what the organics call a brain."

The cave system ran deep and Lord Mettallum estimated he has now been looking for the sithspawn in this cave for atleast a hour. Lord Mettallum could hear the beast but never got close enough to see it. The cave lead to a huge open area with no other tunnels connecting to it and if the beast wasn't here it must have escaped Lord Mettallum.

The orders issued by [member="Lord Mettallum"] were followed to the letter, as the droid forces began to fan out while firing after the Sithspawn. It had retreated deeper into the cave, following the largest tunnels that led to a wide and tall main chamber. It was a dead end, and within the Terentatek waited. The four MagnaGuards also began to separate, quickly making their way around the walls of the cavern, in hopes of sneaking up on the creature while Mettallum distracted it.

Though it was pitch black, the droids were able to see in the dark, much like the Terentatek that watched their every move. Once more releasing a feral roar, the beast thrust its clawed foot into the ground, ripping the terrain asunder and casting large boulders of debris all over. One of the MagnaGuards was crushed, unable to continue operating seeing as its entirety had been flattened. The others however kept moving, ready to pounce on Mettallum's command, assuming he too had not been buried beneath the rubble.

Lord Mettallum started moving up and shooting the best with his heavy pistol. Lord Mettallum signaled his magmaguards to start the attack and attack the beast's flanks. As Lord Mettallum moving closer he put away his pistol and got ready to charge at the beast with his Double headed Vibro Spear. Lord Mettallum started running and activated his jump pack to boost his speed. Lord Mettallum yelled

"By the Maker I Lord Mettallum shall smite you down You filthy sith abomination."

The IG-RM droids began to advance on the closed chamber, lining up at the entrance as they set their sights on the Terentatek. They began to fire their wrist blasters, pelting the beast with burning energy that made it bellow in annoyance.

The MagnaGuards on the other hand had made it around to the creature's flank, pushing off of the ground and leaping towards it much like [member="Lord Mettallum"] was. Their powerful electrostaves jabbed into the Sithspawn, causing it to howl even louder as electricity coursed through its body. Momentarily stunned and vulnerable, it was Mettallum's time to strike.

Lord Mettallum's body moved forward his jump pack helped push him forward. With his Double headed vibro spear pointing towards the sith spawn. Lord Mettallum's spear pierced the creatures head but the question was did the spear go deep enough to kill the sithspawn. As Lord Mettallum looked back he could see that the droids he told to guard the entrance of the cave disobeying his orders which may have ended up making this a little easier. Atleast the droids showed some initiative but would need to be taught to obey orders if Lord Mettallum was going to buy the surviving droids from this hunting expedition.

The vibro technology of [member="Lord Mettallum"]'s weapon was nothing to take lightly, for even the slightest scratch could turn into a severe injury. Having plunged the bladed end of the staff directly into the Sithspawn's head, the wound increased in size, reaching its brain and causing irreversible damage. The Terentatek screeched in pain, thrashing wildly while Mettallum stood upon its head. Three out of the four MagnaGuards were unfortunately caught in the beasts flailing, smashing to pieces by its gigantic clawed limbs.

The IG-RM droids, or IG-SPs, ceased their fire once Mettallum had jumped upon the beast, watching as it eventually collapsed due to its injuries. The fleet above the planet were waiting for Mettallum's transmission, he would have to leave the cave to inform them of his coordinates. Once all was done and said, a retrieval team and a larger vessel would be sent to collect the Terentatek to begin harvesting the resources they required from its body.

This has been a great day. Not only did Lord Mettallum get a very powerful and new secondary body he also found a place where he could purchase a proper military force. Talking to one of the Holowan business representatives Lord Mettallum said.

"Inform your boss that I Lord Mettallum would like to buy a full detachment of magnaguards and one legion of IG-RM droid. Also please inform him That I Lord Mettallum wish to also buy the surviving droids from my hunting expedition and also that I Lord Mettallum am willing to pay full price.

The Metal Lords were soon going to show themselves and Lord Mettallum needed a proper army to help them claim land.

Once the fleet in orbit received [member="Lord Mettallum"]'s transmission, they assumed that his mission was complete. A medium sized cargo transport would descend to the surface, landing not too far away from the cave entrance. A large industrial hoversled was pushed through the jungle, as various droids led by Doctor Upari himself cut a pathway towards the cavern that Mettallum would emerge from.

Once they had reached the entrance, the droids would work with those that were already present, slowly but surely hauling the Sithspawn's corpse through the tunnels. The cyborg doctor then went about finding Mettallum, for he had a surprise following in tow. "Excellent work, Lord Mettallum. Once we fashion your cape, your secondary body will be complete." Upari explained, stepping to the side to present the tall and unique looking droid.

"You'll be able to transfer between bodies, as long as you're connected to some sort of mainframe. What do you think?" The doctor was proud, he and his team having worked for hours on end while Mettallum had been on his trip.

"Perfect just perfect. Now I Lord Mettallum havn't set up a proper base of operations to store the second body so for now can you store my second body in some warehouse. If it is destroyed while stored I Lord Mettallum do hope you are able to fix it of course I Lord Mettallum doubt it would be stolen or destoryed. Anyway I Lord Mettallum would like some of the new magnaguards you guys are making and one legion of IG-RM droids." This was probably the happiest Lord Mettallum has ever been and you could even hear the joy in his robotic voice. Lord Mettallum did wonder how powerful the new magnaguard models would be and if they would easily destory the older model.

Upari was pleased to hear that the Metal Lord approved. Before they had even met, a top secret was handed down to Upari from the mysterious higher ups, one that had been dubbed 'Project Mettallum.' Only now did he understand why there was an old prototype hidden in one of the warehouses on Halowan. Holowan Laboratories must have taken an interest in this droid before hand, already having a model that looked similar to the final product.

"I do not believe that will be necessary, [member="Lord Mettallum"]," the doctor began, pausing as he watched the Sithspawn corpse being hauled away on the large repulsorlift sled. "We are prepared to offer you a Star Galleon-class frigate, with a fully functional droid crew made up of our old and newer models," Upari smiled knowingly, averting his attention back to Mettallum. "Along with a battalion of three hundred additional droid soldiers. You can interface with the ship, allowing you to switch between bodies as you please."

Upari turned, the motioning for the two droids to follow, the Holowan version of Mettallum proceeding into the Star Galleon which had actually landed nearby. Within was all that Mettallum sought, for various IG-series droids were running the ship with surprising efficiency. "Your cloak should be ready within the hour. Until then, you are free to do as you please."

Lord Mettallum was surpised at this clearly something fishy was going on but how could he decline such generosity. Lord Mettallum normally just used a simple shuttle to get around but now he had a star galleon. "I Lord Mettallum must say thank you for this generosity."
Once Lord Mettallum entered the ship he told the pilot to set a course to the Metal Lord homeworld for he heard the exile has returned and is trying again to get the Metal Lords to reveal themselves
