- Songsteel Threads: The inclusion of Songsteel allows for some minor defense against melee weaponry.
- Cloak: The armor features a long scarf traditionally worn about the arms and across the lower back. This cloak can be shed to increase agility in combat, or augmented with custom cloaks that may offer additional benefits.
- Force Imbuement: The Robes of the Lord Vigilant have been imbued with Protection Bubble, allowing the wearer to create a nigh impenetrable sphere up to 10 meters in diameter, and maintain this shield with decreased effort.

After assuming his rank as Lord Commander, Voph commissioned robes for the four schools of the Knights Obsidian. For the headmasters, he personally crafted four robes that would serve as the markers of their stations. Into them, he wove the will of the Force, granting boons to aid those that held the station. While not intended for combat scenarios, the robes offer some defensive qualities for those times when conflict is sudden and unavoidable...
