The Reconnaissance forces of the Galactic Alliance's Marines have long served not only as a reconnaissance force but as a rapid deployment and response force for the more remote reaches of Alliance Space. It was to increase this capability that the RM-35 "Nexu" was offered by Rendili Vehicle Corporation for their consideration. Designed from the ground up as a reconnaissance vehicle, it has a starfighter-grade sensor suite, which can be operated by an droid for optimal scanning capability. For defense it's outfitted with a capable mass driver cannon coupled with a coaxial repeating blaster, capable of sending a lot of blaster bolts downrange, to to discount the firepower brought by the 8 marines it's capable of carrying in its passenger seats. Most unique about it, however, are the 4 Braking Engines located on its corners, which are capable of providing braking thrust to allow the IFV to be safely dropped from high altitudes into a hot warzone, allowing the dropping ships to avoid spending more time than necessary contested or defended airspace. All-in-all the RM35 "Nexu" is an excellent fighting vehicle for the reconnaissance marines of the Galactic Alliance.

- Swift like the Lightning: With a relatively high top speed and Maneuverability, and good handling, the Nexu is a swift, responsive vehicle capable of moving quick into an area to strike at a position or perform a sensor sweep and then leave the area before the enemy has time to call in heavier reinforcements.
- Vulnerable to Heavy Fire: While it's armor is easily capable of defending it from small arms fire and shrapnel from nearby blasts, the Nexu isn't built to take on direct fire from tanks or other heavy weaponry. This reconaissance vehicle prefers to keep itself and its passengers safe by avoiding the enemy altogether, or dodging and moving behind cover, to direct combat.
- Low Cargo Capacity: The Nexu isn't designed to carry much cargo beyond its passengers and their personal loadouts. While a squad might be able to carry a mounted repeating blaster or a small crate of reconnaissance equipment, the cramped interior doesn't offer a lot of room for extraneous equipment.
