Being in the middle of a crossroads has never been a comfortable place to be in. Yael Kandar has been in a few throughout her life. Stuck between war and love, then love and dream. Now, she feels like she is closing in another one of those which wouldn’t let her leave unscathed.
She has never been good at following order. That was apparent in her stint as Enclave prominent dueler. But that turned out to be a disaster. So she tried to do the impossible, joining the Kyr’kara Blades, fighting for the Iron Covenant in open spaces and zero-gravity. Yet when her contemporaries started to look up to her, she disappeared.
The leadership mantle makes her skin itch like an allergy, the nightmare that was Enclave descend to chaos never stops haunting her.
So she flew away, first for a week, taking on a small bounty. It’s not like she had anyone waiting for her in Kestri, nor the Mythos Fleet.

And the hunt brought back the fire in her. So she chased for more and more. Made friends in shady places while hiding from her former Black Sun employers. Maybe that’s the life she has always been made for. Maybe that’s how she can contribute to the Covenant the most, without the risk of plunging them into another unnecessary war.
So, when a bounty hunter friend offered her to join force for a bigger, more dangerous bounty on a marauding Sith, she didn’t hesitate to take the offer.
But first, she needs her Beskar’gam reforged. It’s an old model, with too many dents and bad memories. And she has the means to buy more equipments.
