Trevin saw the planet before the ship touched the ground. A lot of people may have looked upon him and felt sorry for him when they realized he did not have eyes, others looked upon him as a lesser being maybe, but it was all he knew and there was nothing strange about it. He still "saw" things but not in the traditional way. Force sight was the technical term but he and other Mirakula just referred to it as the vision. Trying to explain what it was like to see with the vision was no easy task and he often times just took the lazy way out and said it was something similar to sonar, but it was nothing close, the way he saw things was much clearer than what eyes could see. He witnessed what things truly were, good or evil, or just plain things.
He was unsure about what to think of the new life he was undertaking. He had grown accustomed to life outside of the military, working every day, making meager wages, and sleeping in a nice bed inside of a place he had labeled home. Leaving it all behind had been no easy decision, but, the promise of a new life and possibly gaining enough strength to wreak vengeance on the man who had wronged him was something he could not pass up. There was excitement about learning the ways of the force, it was something that had intrigued him for many years, but he never thought he was capable of actually using it. More than anything he was anxious to get started.
The ship touched down and Zeltros, his pet canoid, jumped to attention. Reaching his hand out he gave the animal a soothing touch, he was not used to flying, and Trevin could feel that he was uneasy. Standing to his feet, Trevin pulled the hood over his head and hid the pair of black goggles that he used to hide his empty eye sockets. Tapping the side of his leg, the large canoid quickly jumped beside Trevin, and in mere moments he was stepping onto the planet of Roon.
He was meeting a man named Josiah, a Templar Ranger, who was to teach him how to control his powers. He knew nothing about the man besides his occupation, and honestly, he was completely ignorant to what was to come next. He knew he was meant to meet with him at the entrance of the large castle, a building called Roon Sanctum, and so Trevin did as he had been told. The castle was large and imposing, nothing like anything he had seen before, and a bit of nervousness began to run through his veins. He was just now realizing that he had no clue what he was doing and he considered turning and running back to the ship. But he was a man who did not quit and this was no different than anything else he had ever started.
He was going to finish it.
