Mission:
-- Storm Local One Sith Remnant Forces and Requisition Equipment in the Name of the Imperium

Two Planetary Defense Force Officers sit on the bridge of a Viper Class Frigate, left over from the One Sith after they left the planet. They even wore Stormtrooper Gear from the same Fallen Empire, it looked as though all the resources of the once mighty empire were left behind in their retreat to the Core Worlds.

The two soldiers sat their councils, seemed like they were put on night watch and were talking to one another. "Ever wonder why we are here?"

The other trooper looked at him through his helmet, paused for a second, and then through his canteen at him, "Ya, you tried to sleep with the XO's daughter and I just happen to be your bunk mate, that's how."

Blocking his body from the horrible aim of his friend and spoke up again, "She was totally coming on to me, what was-" A loud beep sounded on the original troopers terminal. He readied himself and looked at the information, "We have multiple ships coming out of Hyperspace, what the hell are they doing this far out of civilized space?" The other trooper did not respond, "Thommus, you need to inform the captain, I will ready weapons."

It was at this point the other trooper started talking, "Ed, I think we need to inform the home fleet."

Looking up they were greeted by a massive battle group exiting Hyperspace, it then turned into a fleet, and then an Armada. This was a massive raiding parting, that was nearly an invasion of this world. The original trooper stood from his terminal and looked our the view port, "Inform ground command."

"I cant, I think we are being jammed"

He looked at the terminal of his comrade, "No, it looks like someone turned off our communications array." It was then that the door behind them slid open and the troopers turned to face the one that entered, "Captain, it-" A blaster bolt exited the dangerous end of a blaster and shot both troopers in the chest. The one standing hit the floor and the other slouched in his seat.

The individual with the blaster was a women in all black plasteel body suit with armor on top, also black. It looked close to stormtrooper armor though she wore no helmet. She dropped her blaster and opened a radio communications, "Admiral of the 13th Imperial Armada, the Kyaza is clear, you may now begin your mission, IPS Agent out,"

Standing aboard his personal frigate looking at the planet through the window he gearing up putting his armor on preparing all weapons along with his 4 squads members he was also thinking of a plan on how he was gonna complete this assignment walking to the hangar " Get THAT starfighter ready for flight " yelling at the maintenance droid " As you command " as the droid made starts preparations turning and walking back to his quarters he grabbed his Vibroblade and various explosives.

Grabbing his helmet he made his way back to the hangar where his ship was prepared and ready to leave he climbed into the cockpit and sealed it " Open the hangar door " as he raised the starfighter and made his way off his ship.

"General."

Ursula's head turned around with ease, not sure with what to address the unknown voice. "Yes?"

"We've touched down ahead of schedule. Shall we deploy?"

"Indeed. Don't hang around for me, set up a forward operating base wherever there's natural cover."

The voice trailed off as she never quite peeked a glance at their complexion while equipping the final remnants of her armor. It was strange being back in this old thing, seeing some rusting from the obvious overuse of the battle attire. The final component slipped over her head, and she blinked while she adjusted to her new surroundings under the guise of the helmet. Her legs quivered as her movement was suddenly restricted, before once again being accustomed to the metallic plates and regaining full control of her own movement. Elsewhere on the landing shuttle, creeks echoed into the cockpit before the thuds of about two dozen marching feet, almost completely synchronized.

Her hand patted the communicator built into the suit, giving one last command to her subordinate.

"Take hostages if they surrender. I'm not really in the mood for another PR disaster and being berated by the Grand Marshal again."

She strutted to the bay's open doors, gazing over the horizon as the troopers from this shuttle, along with those from a few more, made way for the research facility in the hopes of recovering long lost artifacts.

Dan would look at his men. "Okay boys and girls listen up, once we hit the ground we are going straight for the officers barracks and we are to disrupt there command structure. One of our own has already done part of it we are going to do the rest." He would look them over in the normal stormtrooper armour. He was wearing his old ancient eye armour.

"Remember when we are on the ground, we are it. The rest of the troops will get mechanised support. You boys and girls will go in first and you will be the support for them." They all nodded "I couldn't hear you." "Sir yes Sir." "Good now board those transports we hit the ground in 5" They would then jump into the transports and Dan would follow. They still didn't have proper armour but they would after this.

Ursula's head nodded at the agent clad in a different uniform, indicating his expertise in his craft.

As they continued to make way for the facility, her eyes glared at the rather barren defenses, lacking any sort of personnel that the elder's eyes could spot. Patting the communicator once more, her voice echoed out to the relevant officers awaiting instruction. "Halt here, walking into a trap isn't exactly what I had in mind."

The synchronized march stopped a few seconds later as they relayed the orders to the rest of the force.

Squinting, she surveyed the landscape, uncertain of what trap could have been laid for the Imperials. At first, she could have swore she spotted a landmine, though it was an exotic creature that sported a glowing red dot on its back. By now, the once orderly group broke into a disorganized, but silent, scramble to any cover that could be found on the planet's surface. Rocks, grass, natural craters now harbored a countless amount of soldiers all with their eyes poised on the facility, wondering why they weren't advancing. The only sniper team to be found in the entire miniature army was deployed on a raised section of the land, camouflaged in with their surroundings.

Kneeling on one knee, her eyes continued to peer, awaiting further intel that would grant the unit safe passage.

Jonas crouched motionless, perched upon a small cliffside and cradling his LRS rifle between his knees.

The HUD within his helmet flicked with information, half a dozen readouts slowly crawling across the lower right half of his screen. The Fel Empire had allowed him and the others to patch into the their comm-system, if only in the interest of making sure that everyone was on the same page. It was a good thing too, otherwise people would likely end up shooting each other. He frowned slightly behind the helmet, wondering if any of his brothers realized the irony of this situation.

He doubted it, most really only cared about the money. "Range?"

Jonas prompted his spotter, the man that had convinced him to leave the Empire.

"Twenty three o five."
The Answer came with the exacting precision that Jonas had come to expect from the man. He frowned for a moment, then jerked a quick nod and shifted his stance. Within just a few seconds Jonas found himself laying prone on the cliff-side, the bi-pod to his rifle popping out as he set it on the edge of the rocks. His head rested against the butt of the rifle as he peered down into the valley below, observing the small outpost that was cradled there.

He'd heard of the One Sith before of course, though he'd never served with them.

From what he knew that made him lucky.

Dan's transports wouldn't land instead they hover above the compound. "Okay boys and girls we are dropping in . Word is [member="Ursula Toher"] the general of our main forces may have run into a mine field. We are continuing with our op however new objective, the first one to find out if there is a mine field or not and shut it down if there is gets a bottle from my private stash." The group would laugh. They knew that Dan shared his drink anyways, but helping the main force was always a plus.

Dan would then nod. "Okay and drop." All the troops would drop to the ground with and elegant grace landed killing any lookouts. This was due to the fact that the soldiers were super soldiers of the first wolves as was Dan. Dan would then send some hand signals. The squad would split, half heading towards the officers barracks, he took command of the other half and went for the comms and security systems.

Breaking off he walked down to the compound while entering another strike team had taken care of any hostiles entering he took the right moving in and out of hallways like a ghost although big he had been trained with many stealth tricks to walk and move undetected eventually reaching a basement the heavy metal door was stable. Being very large and strong for his species he tried kicking it down to no success reaching to his belt he grabbed an explosive charge placing it on the door backing up from the said door a small explosion would take place after the smoked clear he would find two hostiles in a room with that looked like the mix of an office and a library with his Vibroblade still in hand he stuck his blade through the mans chest as his body hit the ground to the left of ES-06 he turned grabbing the other with his free hand slamming him against the wall he threw awell-placed punch in the throat and then using his large height to his advantage kneeing the man in the face knocking him out.

Still patched into the 13th assault fleets com system " I have control of the basement searching to see what I can find " muting his com as he looked around the room going through the desk and some cabinets but the safe under the desk peaked his interest using a built-in drill he placed a small c4 charge opening the safe with not much in it " Basement clear, nothing of use down here "

Kyle yawned.

He was getting used being shipped out with very little warning and even less sleep, but it would take a few more missions before he was fully alert during morning briefing. He knew roughly was his mission was, get a division of men into an old One Sith building and get them out again a few hours later. It felt weird, being one of the highest ranking officers on a mission and actually having responsibility to get men back safely.

Kyle looked towards the first officer slowly. They'd shipped out stupid early, make the most out of their time that they had awake. He would function, just about. Caf was one of the greatest inventions in the galaxy, it was what kept men awake when all they wanted to do was curl up into a ball in the warmth of their beds, asleep and comfortable. Caf was what stopped men falling asleep at their workstations or at the controls.

"Bring the commanding officers to the ready room. Get those on the ground to attend via hologram"

The first officer nodded, walking off to carry out his tasks like ordered. Kyle took a gaze from the viewport, turning to follow the first officer. There was an army aboard his ship ready and waiting to be deployed, to assist. They would burn anything that didn't get looted and capture the base in the name of the Fel Empire, and probably also themselves. They would enjoy having a home base of operations that wasn't a ship.

Kyle took a seat at the table, waiting patiently for the gaps to be filled in by people and holograms alike.

Ursula's eyes peered down a set of binoculars, now with her helmet removed she could see much more clearly. The outpost was barren, with several of the Imperial's expert strike teams clearing out what little remained of the insurgents. It seemed... unnecessary to send such a large force into such a small facility, at the risk of being engulfed and surrounded by whatever remained of the One Sith on the planet. She patched in to any strike teams on the ground, sending out a simple message with a calm voice.

"The main force will be holding our current positions unless you request additional forces."

While she finished the communication message, a communication officer tapped her soldier.

"Command is wanting you to attend a meeting via hologram. Stand still for me."

She grunted. The most interesting thing about these briefings was usually pondering about how exactly hologram technology worked, rather than the substance of what even higher ups than the General wanted to speak about. Her arms remained by her side, clutching her helmet incase of any immediate threat to her well being required it be returned to her head. Silently, she sat still and gazed at the table as similar holograms began to flicker to life, along with actual bodies of officers who were yet to be deployed.

Dan would finish up on the last of the members of the security and comm station. The base was there's. The other half of his team had reported all the officers were ended. They had moved to the regular barracks. The forces here were minimal at best. So why send so many forces to such a small base. One of his men stayed with him to shut down the minefield and all the other defences. So Dan used the Holocomm suite in the base while his man watched his back.

The holograms of [member="Ursula Toher"] and [member="Kyle O'Conner"]. The tech was amazing but he didn't care. He wanted to know why so many resources had been devoted to this one spot. The amount of the army and the ships being here. Realistically they only need Dan and the First wolves here to do the job. So why the rest of the military forces. Was it a show of force to the galaxy or maybe someone didn't know how empty this base would be. He would stand waiting for whatever he had been called for.

A half klick back stood an AT-ST, frame hidden from aerial spotters by active camo. Inside waited Fiver, formerly of the First Order, vehicle driver extraordinaire, and his co-pilot, Tens.

The poster of a naked twi'lek was pinned to the left wall of the cock pit, right beside Fiver. He'd have to take it down for inspection, but otherwise Lady Luck went where they went. A set of brass bantha balls hung suspended from the ceiling. Fiver swatted them idly, then glanced back down at the cards. He was idly playing a solo version of sabacc, feet on the walker's dash.

Tens was busying reading a book.

They were here in a support role for the scout trooper recon unit, in case Irunel and the rest needed some superior firepower. Until that call came in the best the two tank drivers could do was keep an eye out and wait.

Enemy positions seem still unaware of what is going on and no real movement is seen within the fort. Communications are cut and the planet is slowly being secured by the forces set on by [member="Kyle O'Conner"] when the invasion starts.

Information relayed from the Fort to the Communications Outpost raided by [member="Dan Tray"] and [member="ES-06"] indicate that they have not been made aware of the incoming fleet that is ready to invade the planet.

Small group of men in stormtrooper armor is wondering the open field north of [member="Ursula Toher"] that seem to be unaware of the presence of the men hiding in the forest.

[member="Fiver"] and [member="Jonas Irunel"] have secure the only road in or out of the Fort, only small transport convoys seem to break the view of the troopers. No large armored vehicles have made any movement along said road.

Walking back out to the entrance of the compound he took the right passage this time leading him up which he thought would be a good sign, with his Vibroblade in his hand ready to strike if need be his boots walking on the hard concrete this time he was lead into the communications room looking through the papers to look for anything worth taking upon further digging around the room ES-06 found a case opening it he discovered a sword but this sword was different made perfectly scanning the sword he tried to look for information on it in his archives upon further inspection the sword had tampered with magic.

Putting it back in the case it fits in perfectly putting the strap on his shoulder he walked over to the window " I have secured the communications room no one will be calling out from the inside " muting his coms again he made his way back down to the entrance of the making his way out, he would suddenly appear near [member="Ursula Toher"] " Nothing of further use in the outpost ".

Kyle leant back in his chair.

It was almost satisfying to watch as holograms and people fill the empty chairs. He wasn't one for boardrooms, he spent most of them pondering how the technology worked and just saying words, hoping they formed competent sentances. He knew exactly what to say, exactly what to order. High Command wanted the planet taken by force and Kyle had the force to take the planet. Down in armories somewhere, over one hundred thousand men were ready and waiting.

"Major, General".

He nodded to the two holograms of Ursula and Dan, running his hand through his hair.

"Commander"

He nodded to an officer who had sat down opposite him. Commander Jorus Ryze was an older man, war veteran who was in charge of leading the forces under Kyle. The 16th Militant Division all fell under his command, as did the 212th Stormtrooper Company. Man held power, he knew exactly what orders to dish out and when was the best time to carry them out. He was a formidable soldier, a brilliant commander and an accurate shot.

"High Command have changed the plan slightly. This isn't just about securing the fort any longer, though the fort is a nice addition. While you all loot and pillage, my men are preparing to land besides you and secure the rest of the planet. Once you have everything of value, my men will finish off any resistance inside the base. We will hold it in the name of the Empire and in the name of the Emperor."

He raised an eyebrow and waited for the questions.

"I see." biting her tongue to avoid saying something that would get her a demotion. "We'll remove any possible resistance outside of the Fo-.." taken by surprise by the member of the more elite special forces, glancing to her side and acknowledging him with a nod. "I've just received word that communication going into and out of Fort Corner stone is offline, though I doubt they'll be oblivious to that for much longer when they realize the outpost has been overrun." pausing and pondering what to do, turning her back and looking outwards onto the landscape, before pivoting once more and addressing the table. "We shall await for the main invasion force to minimize any unnecessary loss of life, somehow we've remained unspotted."

Yes. That sounded like a good idea. Given her unwavering loyalty to the Empire, she was determined to ensure that the men and women who served under her would remain as unharmed as possible during this operation. She opened her mouth once more. "May I suggest that we issue an ultimatum to the fort to reduce the need for unnecessary violence? It's quite clear we are an overwhelming force that they couldn't possibly stop us even if they tried."

"I figured as much sir. You don't send this many forces to one planet just for a fort." He would say to [member="Kyle O'Conner"]. [member="Ursula Toher"] would then speak. She would speak about the forts forces noticing the cut communications. "I would say they would notice the holes in their throats before they notice any cut communications my men have been meeting minimal resistance."

He would then turn directly to the general "As for the area in front of you general it has been cleared, they had some defences along it. They have all been deactivated. Also the general is right we don't need all the men and women trampling their way to the fort. My men will finish the job here the rest of you can take the planet." Dan would stand there waiting for the orders to come through, meanwhile his men had moved into the fort, slowly killing off any resistance they found.

"Fel is landing." Jonas commented dryly as he watched the events in the valley below through his scope.

For him there was no real difference between the three or four Empire's that currently called the Galaxy home. He had never been a die hard loyalist, but he'd never really cared for his own service either. Mostly he had simply attempted to get along as best as he could. It helped that his culture was one of warriors, even if his own people considered him somewhat of an outlier. Ubese had dozens of traditions, and Jonas didn't tend to follow...well any of them.

Made him a bit of an odd duck. "Let's see if we can't get rid of any of the guard posts before they get too far."

The Recon sniper commented, glancing back for just a second and looking at the corner of his HUD.

"Call up Fiver." Jonas told his spotter. "Move up along the Valley."

Best to be prepared.
