Republic/Jen'ari Alliance (INVITE ONLY)

Ella betrayed a smirk when she listened to Alexandra's threats. She had personally been threatened by Jedi in the past, but their threats had always been veiled behind the excuse of Form Zero or some other pathetic Jedi doctrine. But Alexandra had blatantly threatened Vyrassu and made it clear what she wanted to do to him. It was not what she had come to know or expect from a Jedi. She was quietly impressed.

As the Vice Chancellor spoke about visions of the future Ella took into consideration the scope of her vision. It was the complete resurrection of the Rule of Two, to bring back the doctrines and teachings bestowed upon her through the lineage of Darth Bane to this moment. It meant that the Sith had to be destroyed in order for the Sith Order to be remade whole once again. Enduring through the betrayals of the past and the Four-Hundred Year Darkness, an entire generation of Sith Lords had walked and lived through the galaxy to get her to this point. She would not waste the opportunity.

When Vyrassu fell silent Ella cleared her throat to gain the attention of the others to speak. Turning her gaze first to the leader of the Jen'ari, she said: "Even the brightest stars in the galaxy eventually go dark." Then she turned to her fellow diplomats and the Jedi Grandmaster to explain her thoughts.

"At the end of the war with the One Sith I left Republic space to find Carnifex. I thought that if I could stop him and remove him from the war then it would bring hope back to the Republic, whilst also simultaneously damaging the push of the One Sith. When I found him we engaged one another in a Lightsaber duel which I lost."

"I was taken to the Black Pyramid, a prison on Coruscant, where I was held for three months and tortured by Carnifex. He did not want information from me, but only the enjoyment that came with torturing me for hours on end. It was only because of Vulpesen that I was freed from the Black Pyramid, and he helped me get off Coruscant where I entered exile."

"During this time I came to know Carnifex. I cannot say that I am an expert on the man, but I understand what motivates him, and what he might do next. I admit it has been a long time since but if he is the same man that I knew then he will undoubtedly hold a grudge against the New Republic. This is a man who fought, raided and conquered the Old Republic. He believed that he had destroyed the Republic. Yet, here we are. It is my opinion that he will come back to finish what he helped started."

Aegis would watch the discussions silently, looking as intimidating as possible. He'd tower over most beings in the room other than Darth Vyrassu. He'd grow slowly more angry and frustrated as the other people talked disrespectfully to his Dark Lord. After listening to the politician, who Aegis found annoying already, he decided to throw himself into the conversation.

"Vice Chancellor. This is a symbiosis. Our might, willpower, and strength combined with whatever you bring could unite a force able to do nearly anything. It is you temporarily unite with us to eliminate a greater evil, or you join the trail of dust we will leave behind as we continue to grow. This is a chance for you and the Republic's survival to continue. Take it." Aegis' voice would boom around the room, in a way able to shock everyone. He'd be demanding and persuasive, forcing his perspective on the Vice Chancellor. He'd feel better, releasing the anger he built up as he watched his Dark Lord be dishonored.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Why Tobias entertained this was beyond Alexandra, and she silently had to recoil and collect herself as she started to pace and stared at the two Sith. She itched to be allowed to send the tip of her spear through their chest for being in the same room, something in her burning hot considering these two sith.

They were arrogant, prideful, and overestimated their own abilities. These two, especially the leader, had been granted years without a true challenge and now acts as if he single handedly defeated the likes of Thurion Heavenshield, Coren Starchaser, Ben Watts, and Daella Apparine alone. It was silly and this man actually thought that he could stand on the same pedestal.

Such a thought made her grin as she bit on her nail, losing focus for a second as she ran through different ideas in her mind as to what she might do to humiliate the man who sought emperorship. Perhaps sever his connection to the force, show him how mortal he really was. Or burn the flesh from his new body with the Light, searing away that disgusting taint of his. Several different options, a few more creative than those before em.

It was only when Darth Aegis started to speak that Alexandra looked backed over and with a wide grin came up to Tobias' side, raising a brow at both of the Sith.

"If I didn't know any better, with how desperate you two seem, I would think it was you who was afraid of Carnifex. Not us." Her vision then focused in on Vyrassu, a comment leaving her lips as she shook her head.

"Five thousand years and this is what the result is. It seems not all things age like fine wine... Vice Chancellor. It is in my opinion, especially having known this man's actions first hand thanks to my previous line of work, that he is no better than Carnifex, perhaps more dangerous in the long run. Carnifex is a man, that while powerful, has acrued far more reputable enemies, such as the recent reports concerning our neighbors on the Galactic stage. Allying with Sith could threaten both that avenue as well as our standing with former Alliance soldiers, and the Silver Jedi. These Sith offer no benefits to us joining them."

She looked directly at Vyrassu now.

"If anything, your 'empire' is more of a liability from a tactical and political standpoint, than a benefit. We are not cornered like the rats you think we are. And I apologize if I'm a bit blunt, but your aggressive attempts made by your subordinate is simply pissing me off. Understood." The smile on her face, and light in her eyes, betrayed no emotion, but the statement was made without hesitation or doubt. She meant what she said.

-- Tobias was lost in thought, the arguments between the two ideals was nothing more then a further echo in his mind. He was listening, eyes still following the conversation as his mind wrote out the conversation, well more like an argument now. Picking words out from the long list of words and pairing it with the information he already knew. This only played out as he had already assumed it would, and he was glad it did, debates with Sith Lords everything had to be planned out. Yet his little game had come to a conclusion several days before, knowing what he knew.

-- He leaned forward and rubbed the bridge of his nose with his fingers before looking up at the people in the room. "Your esteemed Lord Vyrassu," Once his hands were down and his eyelids opened, his calm yellow pinpoint eyes were turned into a void of black. Not a single glimmer of light or pupils left his eyes as he focused on all those in the room, "This Republic has trillions of soldiers, fleets from dead nations, citizens of burnt worlds, and monsters born of ash and fire," He lifted his body from his chair and leaned over the table, "If Emperor Carnifex, Dark Lord of the Sith Empire and Destroyer of Worlds wanted to ride the galaxy of my kind then he would have to try harder,"

-- With a voice deeper then before, capable of shaking even the core of a hardened veteran soldier of a thousand million wars. His voice of understanding was a voice replaced with one of Authority and Facts. "Your Empire is Shattered, Your Followers are weak, and Your offer of Military Strength is no more then the Commenorians we just liberated," He tapped the table repeatedly with his knuckles lightly, "Five Thousand Years and we still dance to the tune of one another, a Millennium and the sands of time will forget I was even here talking to you, but..." The tapping ended, his eyes still dark at the void of space as each in the room felt the Vice Chancellor was looking at them, "The Republic will always be around in the hearts of those that have hope to see the future, even if its not there in practice"

-- 'BANG'

-- He slammed his fist now against the table, "I do not care if one uses the Force to kill of leaders to take their place, I do not care if you served the Old Republic or the One Sith, I do not care if you follow the tenets of some ancient scripts written a trillion years ago in a galaxy far far away," He paused to let that sink in with everyone there. "Provide me with evidence that your faction... Nation... Empire or whatever can be trustworthy allies that will not be a destructive component to this institution, because I will put a Sith on the Front Lines as quick as I do a Jedi, but if either shows as a threat I will burn them before they get a chance to ruin this Republic."

-- He sat down again, his head turned to both [member="Darth Vyrassu"] and [member="Alexandra Feanor"], "Force User or not, this Republic will outlast us all here, so your Lordship Vyrassu, stop repeating that the Sith are out to get me in my sleep, we know that, kind of why we Liberated Commenor and are Restoring Order to the Northern Territories, or have you forgotten the First Order down the Hydra Way, threats of conquering their old enemies lands, then we have the Seperatist down the Corellian Run, more and more Outer Rim Worlds join their unknown cause, then there are the Silver Jedi and the Mandos that are actively at war with each other and the Sith Empire," This was now just words leaving his mouth, the meeting was already over and this was just a formality, "So if I join you in an Alliance, what is it you can provided that the other nations cant, hell I will take something you can do that the Resistance Movement is unable to do."

Darth Aegis would grin under his mask at how quickly he got into their heads. He found it interested how easily he could bring emotion out of such a highly esteemed Jedi. He'd begin the next part of his plan in the discussion.

"I am what can be of value. I have infiltrated The Sith Empire, and am able to gather intel whenever needed. However, if you think for a second that the Jen'ari are desperate, you're a fool."

Vyrassu simply smiled under his mask at the vice chancellor getting angry. It was amusing, this is peaceful talks and he was getting upset, such a child. Vyrassu listened to Lord Aegis speak. Nodding in agreement to what his valuable lord had said. Vice chancellor, beating your hands on the desk is making you look like a child. No doubt you despise me, I understand why, but I'm not being hostile, I'm not doing anything but being peaceful, I understand the position I've brought before you, trusting Sith is nearly impossible, I understand it. But as Lord Aegis has said, we can offer you insight to the Sith Empire's dealings, and doings, basically be a spy. As well I can offer more troops to aid yours in battle, more numbers makes a more overwhelming force making an easy victory. I can grant you access to a few dozen for ships if combat where to take place in space, not that you need it, but the offer to have more ships at your disposal is a commodity I'd figure would be nice to have, plus soon enough my military will have grown a ten fold over the size it is now. I can offer assistance of several Sith lords in battle who do exactly what you know us best for, disposing enemies. Is there anything in particular you'd be looking for?

Vyrassu continues to relax and be peaceful and calm while awaiting an answer.

-- Typical, the Sith only reacted to what they saw with their eyes not the other aspects that were at their disposal. Both Senator Nova and Master Feanor would know very well that Tobias was never quick to anger. Let along that the Reptilian man had the ability to change his eyes. They manipulated and figured they had the upper hand just because the man played their games. He wanted them to show a hint of restraint, let the Chancellor get angry and use the momentum to show case that they could surprise him.

-- However, they were only as amusing as watching a Hutt kill their contractors.

-- Tobias dropped his head as a heavy exhale of air evacuated his lungs. The possibility of having Sith on the payroll was enticing, just as much as having a Mandalorain Clan join the Republic. This thought, this was a show of strength and was falling short in his opinion. A digital-holographic interference scattered the image of the Vice Chancellor and his yellow eyes reappeared. He lifted his head to reveal them to the Sith, "If you believe that I am quick to anger Mr. Vyrassu then you know very little about me, and if that is the case then you know very little about the Republic." He snapped his fingers and the holographic image of him and the Republic Knights fazed out and then deactivated, what replaced them were the Holographic Droids and the one that was pretended to be the Chancellor held a Void Stone Pendent. Tobias voice was still echoed by the Droid, "I do not mind employing Sith to do the jobs my people can not, however, I do not think this remnant of the old Sith Empire would be of use to Republic as an ally, for if I was able to deceive you then I have a doubt you and yours would able to deceive the Sith Emperor to get us the information we need like intel of the Seperatist and the Imperials opening talks that may lead to an alliance," The Droid tapped on the dent of durasteel table where he hit earlier, "Produce results before the next Senate Meeting and the possibility of an Alliance will be placed before our Elected Representative," He paused as the Droids eyes looked at the Sith Lord, "I am done here," He then looked over at Master [member="Alexandra Feanor"] and Senator [member="Ella Nova"], "Master Feanor I leave it to you to escort our guest to their ships and a proper Republic Salutations are in order, Senator Nova, Please come by the Capital to speak with me when you can." The Droid bowed his head, "Good day and salutations till we meet again."

-- The Droid recovered from the bow before looking at the group with a tilted head, "Vice Chancellors Transmission has been terminated, is there anything else I can assist with?"

Vyrassu simply nodded If you think you deceived me, then you sir are as dumb as your republic, we shall talk again very soon, and trust me, next time won't be so calm. Vyrassu stood up and walked out with the shadow guards following with Lord Aegis. They all left the building and boarded the lambda shuttle. The shuttle quickly took off and once into space, the shuttle went into lightspeed disappearing into the unknown leaving behind a pathetic dead republic. Vyrassu knew what his next move was, and he was going to make it, and the republic wouldn't like it.

OOC note: I'm out of this thread, don't tag me anymore, and I'm already gone from the scene ;)

Jack leaned back against the wall as [member="Darth Vyrassu"] left the room, that was an interesting meeting to say the least, and it meant that Jack was probably going to have a lot more work on his hands for the foreseeable future, training with Ella, and now he assumed, running interference with the New Republic. It was going to be interesting to say the least, but this was far from Jack's area's of expertise so he knew these next few months were going to be hard on him Vyrassu would not let this sort of slight from the New Republic just hit him with.

Jack scratched at his side as he waited for a queue from [member="Ella Nova"] on what the next step was for now, Vyrassu would get a hold of him if there was anything that the Jen'ari needed him for, but for now he'd focus on training and gathering resources for his small, almost insignificant, major project that had pretty quickly gone from just a concept to implementation before he was really ready too, so that was just piling on the stress, Jack was just fortunate that he had a template and a some scientists already secured so at least that was nice.
