Yusan's eyes now shot towards the stairs, climbing up them with the Jedi and working towards the landing pad. His eyes continued to move without stopping, his hands blocking the bolts as they came at him and his eyes shot towards the enemy that decided themselves brave now. He would let the Jedi work though, waving his men up after him.

 

[Soeht]

After crossing yet another bridge, Daella and the strike team reached another set of stairs. Once she made it to the top with those such as [member="Yusan Fenn"], a separatist gunship descended from above and began to fire upon the strike team. Daella took cover behind a duracrete barrier - yet a few Republic soldiers were almost immediately killed. She again had no way to immediately deal with the threat presented to the Republic.

 

[Alexandra Feanor]

Alexandra broke over the ridge and was immediately met with blaster fire, forcing her into a pure defensive stance, her head shooting in all directions as she jumped out of the way and blocked blaster bolts. Her mind was going at a million miles a minute before she found herself holding the blades tighter and tighter, the fear in her moving even faster than her arms as she began to feed off it.

 

[Soeht]

After over a minute passed, there was a lull in the strange frigate's fire. Kirk, given some authority by Oreluos, took the opportunity to order the Republic's ship to open fire upon the frigate. As the ship did so, the frigate's shields were quickly taken down by the battery of fire - leaving it vulnerable.

 

[Serah Oricion]

Yusan saw the gunship and once more called down to his troops, this time a surprise for the enemy as his own men brought in something that was not too welcome for the enemy. A Titan War Droid accompanied by heavy weapons troops fired rockets and a light machine gun that tore into the gunship. It didn' t take long before the ship was sent towards the ground and into its own men.

 

[Soeht]

Daella could hardly block the shots from the gunship. While it wasn't terribly large for one, it still posed a threat. She managed to block a gunship's blaster bolt that was heading to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"].

"Get down!" yelled Daella.

 

[Soeht]

After the strange frigate's shields were taken down, it began to take evasive maneuvers. It headed toward an asteroid that would have provided some cover.

As the ship left the effective and reliable range of the Republic's capital ship, Kirk made the order for the Republic's ship to follow.

 

[Alexandra Feanor]

Alexandra listened to Daella immediately and got into cover. Her body pressed against it until the droid and troops let loose hell on it, rockets and gun blowing the ship out of the sky with her now free to get to work. Spying a fuel depot she waved to one of the heavy gunners, who let loose a grenade right into it. In a moment the landing pad blew and those that had called it haven were in a very hot place now.

 

[Soeht]

After [member="Yusan Fenn"] took down the gunship, Daella got up and looked down the path before her. The survivors of the strike team stood several hundred feet above the lava pits below. If they were thrown off the ledge, a quick, fiery death awaited them.

The explosion of the fuel depot shook the platform that the strike team was on. A few men did fall down because of that. Daella grimaced as she watched them plummet. Yet, she turned back to the path they needed to take and took the lead as she headed toward what would be the final case of stairs.

Her waved for his troops to come up and take position, the droid taking out troops that found themselves too close to the collossus. Then an explosion brought his attention to the ruined fuel depot, a saddening loss but a necessary one. His eyes came back to this battle now, staring around at the men as they took position. "NEXT TARGET?"

 

[Soeht]

Once the strange Frigate made it to the asteroid, it used its tractor beam to push it toward the Republic capital ship. Kirk panic and ordered evasive maneuvers. Despite that, the asteroid scraped the bottom of the ship - taking out the turbolasers on that side.

The frigate then opened fire once more on the exposed underside of the Republic's ship.

 

[Alexandra Feanor]

Alexandra's eyes shot to the Jedi and she nodded, they had work to do. Her body shot back into action, moving after [member="Daella Apparine"] once more with her eyes shooting around to the area before her. It was going fine for now, the enemy slowly being weathered down once more. "MOVE FORWARD MEN, WERE ALMOST THROUGH THIS."

 

[Soeht]

The next target for [member="Yusan Fenn"] would have been the landing pads above. At the topmost level of the separatist volcano base was the landing pads for its aerospace craft. Daella made it to the top level and saw two control towers. Securing them would have secured the anti-air batteries above.

"Take that one," said Daella to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] as she pointed to the left air control tower. Daella then headed to the right one.

 

[Alexandra Feanor]

Alexandra nodded and shot for the tower now, cutting the controls to the door without bothering to act them. Once done she forced it up with... well the force, moving in an aiming her saber at the first guard before cutting out his blaster and sending the man flying against the wall before heading to the controls. Her hands worked quickly as she smiled and instead of disabling them, turned the guns on the ships they were suppose to defend.

 

[Soeht]

The Republic's capital ship shook as the frigate's turbolasers bombarded it. Warning klaxons sounded as it alerted the bridge to the possibility of a loss of hull integrity to the underside. Kirk attempted to get the situation under controls by ordering the ship to intensify its shields and turn its top side toward the frigate.

The group of fighters that had been launched earlier began to make their way back around toward the frigate. The point defense turrets of the frigate had not yet begun to fire.

 

[Soeht]

The defenses of the right air control tower were tough. Daella and several Republic soldiers had great difficulty in pushing past what seemed to be their elite guard. Yet, Daella continued to push forward. She just needed time.

 

[Serah Oricion]

While the Jedi worked, he ordered his men to spread out and take the landing pads, keeping away from the enemy ships as they were shot up by the AA tower. More Droids came up and took up position on the pads, acting as heavy defensive units rather than war droids while the soldiers took prisoners.

 

[Soeht]

As the frigate focused on Kirk's ship, the fighters zipped toward it and began to unload its bombs upon the frigate. This caused it to cease fire upon the capital ship and turn its attention toward the fighters.

Kirk then ordered the Republic's ship to open fire on the shield-less frigate with all it could muster. Destruction ensued.

 

[Alexandra Feanor]

Alexandra moved her hands to grab her sabers again, then enemy ships out of commission as it was time for a show. Grabbing a few thermal detonators she activated them as she came in range before sending her arm in a over hand throw. With that the grenade soared towards the enemy and detonated, their distance improved through the force.

 

[Soeht]

Eventually, Daella made it to the control room of the tower. She had subdued or killed the separatists in the building. She quickly had a splicer get the AA turrets to cease targeting Republic starships and aim at the separatists.

After that, Republic starships began to pour into the volcano.

Daella made her way outside of the tower in order to regroup with the strike team.
