PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: High-Explosive Ammunition
  • Size: Extremely Small - Extremely Large, depending on the desired caliber.
  • Weight: Extremely Light - Extremely Heavy, depending on the desired caliber.
  • Explosive Type: Chemical
  • Delivery Method: Fired or Launched
  • *Effective Range: Average
  • *Area Of Effect: Large
  • *Stopping Power: High
*These stats remain identical regardless of size or weight, with Ore Shells of various sizes corresponding to the ratings listed above for their respective calibers. For example, an Ore Shell fired from a handgun would have an Average range for a handgun, while a larger Ore Shell fired from an artillery cannon would have an Average range for an artillery cannon.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Chemical Explosive: When multiple pieces of Refined Dramedius Prime Ore Shells are in close proximity to each other, they undergo a unique chemical reaction that results in a large explosion, destroying both the ore and most matter around it.
  • Ore Shell: A thin verikast shell covers each Ore Shell, providing a buffer between the chemicals of the Dramedius Prime Ore and those from the environment. An internal mechanism opens up and breaks the shell when an Ore Shell is fired.
STRENGTHS
  • Kaboom: When two or more Refined Dramedius Prime Ore Shells are fired within one (1) meter of each other, they will rapidly undergo a chemical reaction and detonate, creating a large and powerful explosion that can cause serious damage to unarmored or lightly armored individuals and defenses. The more Ore Shells that are concentrated in an area, the more powerful the explosion is.
  • Containment Shell: The verikast containment shell covering the Dramedius Prime Ore part of the Dramedius Prime Ore Shell helps contain some of the volatile chemicals of the ore before firing, allowing for large Ore Shells to be loaded into weapons without destroying both the ore and the weapon.
  • Pick A Size: Dramedius Prime ore can be cut into a variety of different sizes, and Ore Shells can be created to fit everything from handguns to heavy turbolaser equivalents.
WEAKNESSES
  • Kaboom: Despite the shell of the Ore Shell containing some of the volatile chemicals in Dramedius Prime Ore, having Ore Shells make direct physical contact can be very dangerous even with a shell, since some of the chemicals can be conducted directly through the verikast.
  • Teamwork: A single Refined Dramedius Prime Ore Shell without any other shells nearby is very weak offensively, and will often hurt only about as much as having a nail of a comparative size thrown at the target. It is only when two or more Ore Shells hit a similar spot that their combined strength becomes exponentially greater.
  • High-Explosive: Ore Shells have very little armor penetrating capability, even when utilized in large quantities. While their explosions can burn through armor at a sufficient size, using Ore Shells for such a purpose is highly inefficient.
DESCRIPTION

Upon discovering the potential of Dramedius Prime Ore after the slaughter on Eshan, Aeravalin engineers swiftly went to work on weaponizing the material.
It was discovered early in experimentation that Dramedius Prime Ore chunks were highly voatile in the presence of other chunks, leading to explosions even when placed a meter away from each other. As a result, mass-producing ammunition and explosives made out of solely Prime Ore would be a very dangerous task. However, physical barriers showed promise in preventing reactions between separate chunks of ore, as long as the shells were not in contact with the same barrier. Consequently, a thin shell of verikast was placed over the Prime Ore chunks, greatly reducing, though not eliminating, the amount of accidents related to Dramedius Prime Ore reacting to itself and exploding prematurely. With few other improvements that engineers could consider to the Dramedius Prime Ore Shell design, it entered mass production to be fit into a new generation of Bryn'adûl armaments.

Okay, so this looks okay for the most part. Just a few things to edit.

  • Manufacturer: The Bryn'adûl
  • Affiliation: The Bryn'adûl

If you could just link these sections to the appropriate faction page please?

Also, can you add in a specific range that the shells need to land near each other in order for the explosion to become more powerful? Thanks!
