Private Recruitment

Westenra could not help but laugh a little at the sudden and complete breakdown in composure Taji Nelson suffered as he was harrassed by telemarketers. Nine, her Mother, despised them almost as much as she feared and hated Mimes and gave her Psy-Pire children special dispensation to target them for non lethal feeding.

While he lost his chit over the call, Westenra analyzed his suit, looking over and realizing it almost looked like a superhero costume, did her best not to geek out.

"I also have one piece of technology you might find useful..." she trailed once he was done.

She headed into her workbench area, rummaging through it.

"This was very difficult to come by. Working examples are nearly impossible to come by, to say nothing of replicating their functions. But you look like it could help you..." she trailed, producing a strange, glossy black box that looked almost like a walkie talkie, with dials and exposed internal wires that glowed a faint purple.

"A Droid Singularity Projector . Folds space around a droid so it literally vanishes for a short time in a seperate dimension just adjacent to our own. Very difficult to make work for organics. Perhaps your genius could do what others cannot..." she suggested.

"Now that would be easy enough to handle. Sorry for the loss of composure. I really thought I had gotten the telemarketer problem resolved earlier by an employee of mine." Apparently not, as they had just called him. "A Droid Singularity Projector was on my shopping list." He said, as he examined the item. "It certainly will be interesting."

The compliment she made to his brain power made Taji blush a little as he was unused to having compliments. It was something he had never expected. Still, he knew he had a lot of work to do. He planned on getting the mission she wanted done, before sending her on one of his own. He might have her visit and persuade all the telemarketers on Naboo that he was not to be bothered. Taji had other things he wanted to do other than be harassed by idiots who had little more to do than call him nonstop. It was a hassle, okay, more than a hassle to him. He knew it had to stop at some point. The question was, how would he put an end to the unwanted calls?

"So shall we get ready, and run that errand you want?" Taji asked, as he looked at her for a moment. Yes, he intended on getting the mission she wanted done so he could move on with his life and accomplish his own goals.

007-teen hours later...

Foerost.

Current Configuration: The Leopard. (See Bio)

They had taken an all black TIE Shuttle to an area just outside the compound perimeter. There were no identifying marks on the vessel.

Westenra had remained in her new, fair skinned guise, the rest of her body made to look like she was wearing a dark blue metallic catsuit.

She had put out an emergency bounty for Aing Tii tech, any the Psy-Pire clans had related to what Taji Nelson required.

The search had only turned up one result, an ancient, mottled egg like construct, the size of a football and magenta colored, resting on an organic stand. She had been warned the power source within would have power for only one jump.

Taji had been provided the materials and time to upgrade what equipment he needed then the inner blue print of the compound had been gone over with a fine tooth comb. The directives remained: Pure stealth, no evidence of their presence. No kills. Not even knockouts. (The Narrator humorously notes coming events would make this impossible.)

The woodlands of Foerost were among the most beautiful Westenra had ever seen. Once again her domestic fantasy of just being a quiet ordinary woman living in a cabin somewhere played out in her database. She would pick flowers and gather wood and birds wouldn't fly away from her in fear.

She idly stared at her hands, the hands of something built to spy and steal and kill, and lamented that that was what they were mostly used for beyond writing checks, and despaired quietly for a split second before resuming her business with Taji.

"We'll need a contingency plan...in case we get trapped, another person should be waiting to try and attempt a retrieval..."

The Biot got a vibro ax from the weapon cabinet and a gamma ray lamp, going to a nearby tree stump.

"You might wanna look away...and try not to mention to anyone that I can do this." She requested before bringing the Ax down on her arm, spraying out glowing red blood as her arm was severed at the elbow. The stump on her arm began slowly sealing up and regrowing while she took the lamp with her remaining arm and shined a green ray of light on the severed arm.

It rapidly broke down into a rapidly growing mass of mollasses like tissue that swelled to humanoid features, growing an obsidian skeleton, organs and flesh, until what sat on the stump was another copy of Westenra, looking exactly as she did.

She felt guilty, bringing yet another of her into this world, but she liked to hedge her bets.

"Orders?" The Westenra copy asked the one that had made her.

"If we do not return in three hours find a way in to retrieve us..." the one that had come to Foerost with Taji answered. She then turned to Taji.

"Any questions before we commence with the theft?" Westenra asked Taji innocently, as though she hadn't dome something incredibly sci fi horror in front of him...
