Rebuilding from the Apocolypse (Semi Open, Vitae Post-Dominion Thread)

Continuation from http://starwarsrp.net/topic/56823-fires-in-the-skies-pm-for-invite-vitae-public-dominion/

Solan looked at them for a few moments and returned to the console as he looked down at the numbers. IT had been a few days since they arrived on the planet, many of the survivors they had been able to find being left. [member="Taeli Raaf"] and [member="Evania Charr"] were nearby as the world was still going to hell and the people of it needed help. It would be hard to get people around them anymore and this simple fact was the reason the Vitae could not just pick up and leave. "Taeli, when are the prefabs getting here? I know we had them planned to arrive soon."

Evania tugged on her Daddy's pants. She was happy to be able to help the people of this poor planet, but right now she was hungry. "Daddy you promised me we'd get something to eat soon, and I'm hungry. Can we take a break to eat?" Evania asked, her stomach growling loudly as she finished her sentence. The little girl hadn't had much to eat that day as she had been so busy helping with the relief effort. She had briefly considered becoming a healer after witnessing all the destruction on the planet, but she wasn't sure it was an option for her in light of certain circumstances. Bhaltair Dhimani

A little Ruff can go a long way
Bhaltair checked and rechecked the medical equipment. He had nothing better to do, so he sat down and propped his feet up on a nearby table. He started to think about what he was about to do. Going into a high stress area to do a high stress task? Meh. That didn't set him off anymore. He'd gone through a lot of self-help books and learned from enough experts on how to control his own body under stress. It was extreme cases that involved gun fire and vibro weapons that brought out the big guys. In that case, his transformation would likely be necessary...not that Bhaltair wanted it to happen in the first place.

Sitting around was boring. He needed something to fill his free time so that he could get to helping these people faster. He made his way to the bridge and tried to find Solan to ask him questions about deployment.

The galaxy was once a nicer place.
We had it all.
And I threw it all away.
When no one will listen.
Make them want to hear.
The Ryuk came out of hyperspace, coming to a almost complete stop, but it was more so a drift. Romeo was in his captain's quarters, sitting on his bed while he looked as his hand, his hands. The hands of a Vahla. The transferring went without a hitch, and he was very much so stable inside the body, no rejections. He was younger, though, by almost ten years. His soul was in it's mid thirties, while the body was in it's early twenties. Nearing his prime again, this was the chance for one more try. A knock on his door shook him out of his trance of thoughts.
When he opened the door, Celty stood attentive as ever, giving a salute to him, her curves making him eyeball her. He shook his head.
"At ease first mate."
Romeo watched as the female Vahla relaxed, and suddenly gripped him tight in a hug. It was shocking, but only slightly. He embraced her back, and was quickly smacked afterwards.
"Why you do something like that? You left us! You left all of us behind!"
Her tears fell from her cheeks, making Romeo want to wipe them away. He took his hand, and did just that.
"I'm sorry, I was mistaken in my actions, stupid. It wont happen again. As touching as this is, though, it will have to wait Celty, we have a job to do, we must focus."
With those words spoken, she nodded, and sucked it all in. She pulled out a small datapad from her pocket, the old Shadow Dynasty captain's uniform fit her tightly, something she did to tease Romeo during war.
"It appears we have arrived, though a few minutes late."
She spoke as Romeo nodded, and gently gripped her shoulders to move her out of his door way so he good leave his room. She followed quickly behind him a his red eyes watched the various soldiers from his regiment saluted as he strode by them. Some we're veterans, others were new to the company. All were the best of the best. Every Drakon was now from Eclipstica, save the veterans.
Romeo himself wore a captain's uniform that fit his body's muscle definition to a T. The uniforms were black, with red seams, and the captain's rank over the right breast. A holster was supported on the belts, though, Romeo supported a lightsaber on his belt. His black hair was still messy, and his voice still cold, but soft in a "I'll quickly kill you, but relax." sorta way, but his heart felt less angry. Romeo actually felt comforted, and could feel that presence in the back of his skull gently hugging him, whispering to take his time. and let the darkside guide him.
They turned a corner, heading to the bridge of the Ryuk, Solan himself had personally named the ship this, well suggested it. The Shinigami class - Star Destroyer was Romeo's personal ship, and no one would ever take that from him again.
Already he could hear the chattering from of the coms as people checked in, and reported. His mood quickly changed to a serious note, his professionalism showing now.
"This is the Ryuk checking in. I have soldiers prepared to evacuate the people planet side, along with dropships to get them. I also have medical supplies coming in. Is there anything the Ryuk can do till then?"

Solan reached out to take a datapad into his hand, turning it over and staring at it for a few moments as he heard his daughter speaking and his head turned to her. He started to kneel down, brushing her hair out of the way and smiling as he spoke. "Ok, i think you and me both deserve a treat after helping these people..." He knew tht there would be others around like [member="Bhaltair Dhimani"] that could help and [member="Taeli Raaf"] whom was around here somewhere with the Aurora Industries personnel.

Then [member="Romeo Sin"] spoke and his head turned to look upwards before he grabbed his communicator and spoke. "The people do not want to leave but if we can get them to Besh site 026, there is some land that remained untouched by the meteor's reach that had struck the planet. Have your ships move them there and get ready to help set these people back up in their home."

[member="Solan Charr"]

Romeo leaned back as he listened to Solan's orders, it was funny, being on the receiving end of orders. Made Romeo proud of the man Solan had become, which then ignited him to become better than what he had been. He had given his word to his friend that the Dark Jedi would not fall to the darkness again, though what the future held was still to be seen. Romeo did not control the future, and nor could he easily the urge to kill a Sith.
"Roger that, Solan. We'll have the Drakon Regiment go in to protect the people, and safely escort them. I also have Rain Makers coming to help out, their slow so their being escorted by Shadows, and Ionizers at the moment."
His attention turned to his ship's open coms, to which he cleared his throat, and leaned forward.
"Drakons! Prepare to go planet side! You'll be landing in Besh site 026, sending the coordinates as we speak. From there, your mission is to escort the people of the planet to the safe zone, and start coordinating with the locals with rebuilding. Also make a small team for search and rescues. There could still be survivors near the asteroid's hit zone. From there, we'll send food, and water, and any other supplies the locals need."
Romeo looked back at Celty, and sighed. The asteroid had did some major damage, and this was gonna be a long mission. It would be best to set up some caf in the mean time of the waiting process.
The Dark Jedi master would get up from his chair, and move to Celty.
"Sin, the Drakons eta is about five minutes to landing, another ten to get the civilians, and half an hour to get half the locals to Besh site 026. So far it looks like good time will be made. The Drakon Dropships are not made for this kinda stuff, but it's the best we can do for now. Should have made more dropships, and carriers. We could half the time with ease if we had more to work with."
Romeo sighed, and placed a hand on her shoulder, squeezing some,
"My apologizes first mate, I was dead. I'll do better. Have the Drakons set their weapons to stun. We dont need people dying cause they got scared, and got a little rowdy. When the Rain Makers get here, have them set one tower at the edge of the Besh site 026, after it's started the rain process, have the next one set down near the danger zone, and so on so forth."

Bhaltair Dhimani

A little Ruff can go a long way
Bhaltair approached [member="Solan Charr"], but waved hello to the little girl next to him ([member="Evania Charr"]).

"Solan, sir" he began. "Where do you want me? What shuttle should I board soon? What's our objective?"

Evania waved back at the man who approached her father. She had no idea who he was but he seemed rather nice. Something about him reminded her of her Ropo, though she wasn't sure what. The young girl remained by her father's side, clinging to his leg and hiding slightly behind him. She was eager to get something to eat and Daddy had told her that they both deserved a treat. Usually that meant ice cream, but she wasn't so sure with their current location that it would still mean ice cream this time. [member="Bhaltair Dhimani"] [member="Solan Charr"]

Vulpesen's boots tread upon the ash of the ground, his eyes trained on a building that had somehow survived the catastrophe. Being the leader of the Alliance, it was only fit that he would meet with the remainder of this planet's government and ease them into the new life under Alliance protection and aid. Of course, there was no reason for this to go south, but there was plenty of reason for these people to not be happy.
